Experience one of Leelanau counties unique historic properties! On site we have a wine tasting venue, Hawkins Farms Cellars, and a Thai restaurant, and close to lots of activities. Bring your boat, we have water access to the Traverse Bay, just across the street, with free overnight parking. The apartment is a 1 bedroom with queen size bed, living area with a couch, and coffee table, full kitchen, washer/dryer, full bath, coffee maker, microwave, free wireless internet, and flat screen TV.

This was a great place to settle in for exploring the Leelanau Peninsula…very close to Suttons Bay, Leland, and Northport, and not far from Traverse City and Glen Arbor. The building is a bit old and a little funky but the unit itself was recently updated, freshly painted, and ultra clean; bed linens were lovely and towels were plentiful. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay!

Check in was good, very easy, room was clean, however the amenities was poor, the bathroom had sample size lotions, and whatever else was in the other bottles, the bottles were half full with ?, the instant coffee was 1/2 full and hard as a rock, the sugar was in a unsealed bowl and we didn’t know what or who could have put something else in there, the t.v. had good channels but was mounted so high up on the wall after a while your neck was soar, the couch was very uncomfortable, it felt like you the couch was to high in the back and you were slipping off . We loved how quiet it was there, no noise from M22 or Hilltop Rd, the surroundings were nice, all in all it was nice.

For what we needed for the weekend, we absolutely had everything we needed and it was very clean. The only thing we had any problem with was the tv and how to use the remote control. That could have been a function of our age and technical knowledge. I'm a boomer. Parking was great, location was great, it was quiet,and the Thai restaurant was so good. We will use it again.

Great place and great wines

We went to Traverse City for a wedding. Hawkins Cellar Farms was the perfect place to stay. The apartment had everything we needed, and the grounds are beautiful!

Perfect space

The space was perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed. The location is within 30 mins of surrounding cities and attractions. The attached restaurant was lovely with friendly staff. Would live to stay again!

The property was wonderful, exactly as described. A great option for a couple. All the rooms were well appointed and with enough space to be relaxing. The area is near enough to Traverse City to be convenient but far enough from the crowds there. Suttons Bay was an unexpected gem.

Great location!

The apartment was lovely and well appointed. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The Thai restaurant was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and amenities

We had family staying in Sutton’s bay and was very close and travel to be with family. Clean place, great room temperature and everything worked as expected. Easy and enjoyable place to stay.

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed, especially a washer and dryer. We stayed 3 weeks. The location was easily accessible to everything on Leelanau Pennisula. We were able to ride our eBikes to the Bike Trail and on to Sutton’s Bay and back.

Hawkins Delight

Wonderful, quaint place. Friendly owners. So nice that you can dine and taste wine right on the property. We felt like family. Can’t wait to go back. Food is excellent too.

Great value and location

Property was spacious and very clean, easy check-in / out and prompt refund of security deposit. Pictures are accurate. You can't beat the location for easy access to Traverse City and and places north or west on Leelanau!

Great Location! Comfortable Apartment!

This apartment had everything we needed. We love having a fully stocked kitchenette for breakfast. The location is great since it was close enough for trips to Traverse City and close enough to Suttons Bay for our favorites bike trail, L Mawby and Hop Lot.

A Perfect Place to Stay

An excellent place to stay in Suttons Bay. Very comfortable and spotless rooms. The wine tasting and restaurant on site are added bonuses. Owners are friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this property. It is close to restaurants in Suttons Bay and a short drive to Traverse City. We can't wait to return next summer.
