DEWEY Beach Block Cottage on the Best Block in Dewey!

2BR/1BA beach cottage is in the heart of Dewey on the Ocean Block is perfect for a couple or small family. Affectionately dubbed the "doll house" by friends and family, it sits about 250 feet from the beach. This small cottage (~500 sq ft) has all the amenities you need for a wonderful beach vacation. While we limit to 4 adults for comfort, it will sleep 6. Each bedroom has a queen bed, & there is a queen sleeper sofa in living room for the occasional guest. Maximum comfortable occupancy is 4 but permitted to 6 (owner discretion). The outside shower is wonderful for removing sand. And the screened porch with vaulted ceiling is a wonderful spot to relax for morning coffee or at the end of the day. There is a full kitchen and both a regular coffee maker and large Kuerig.
There are 3 split units for cooling/heating along with 4 ceiling fans for comfort.
Please bring all blankets along with linens for beds, towels, dish towels and paper products/ trash bags consumables. Pillows, mattress pads, bedspreads are provided.

Gas grill is provided, propane is not guaranteed.

Cute little cottage! If you are looking for a Dewey location specifically because it is in the heart of the activity - close walking distance to both the beach and the restaurant/bar strip - this is perfect. It's exactly as pictured and comes with a few beach chairs. We rented ours from the rental stand so we didn't have to carry anything, but nice that the option was there. As stated in the post, it's about 500 sf with 2 bedrooms that is perfect for 2 couples or a small family. We brought our 15 year old daughter and she got one of the rooms and was happy as a clam. Communication was excellent. Owner even left a note about the new air conditioner unit etc. Instructions on how to use everything and how to close up shop appropriately were well written and easy to follow.

Such a great stay

We loved this cozy beach cottage in a perfect location! It is compact but is laid out well and still packs in a ton of features, including laundry, a sunny enclosed porch, and an outdoor shower. We would definitely stay again!

Great place for a small family

We spent 3 days at this cottage. It was perfect for 2 adults and a toddler. Great location right down from the beach with restaurants and coffee right up the street. We will definitely be staying there again!

Great location, nice cottage for beach visit

Very enjoyable cottage for a small group. We had 4 adults comfortable for a week's vacation. Nice screened in porch for coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay!

We had a great Memorial Day weekend at this property. It was in the perfect location right by the beach and main restaurants. Elizabeth was very helpful and easy to reach throughout our stay. It was the perfect amount of space for two couples. Would definitely stay here again!

Super cute cottage steps from the beach. Orr was a perfect spot for my daughter and i to enjoy Dewey for a long weekend.

Cute place, can't beat the location!

Small but perfect for our needs (family of 4 with 2 preschoolers). The location is great - 2 minute walk to the beach and, in the other direction, several restaurants and shops. No need to drive anywhere!

perfect location

what a cute little beach cottage. very small but quite cozy. 1/2 city block from beach on quiet street. will definitely attempt another stay here. owner is very easy to reach if needed.
