Wonderful Views of Dillon Beach and Bodega Bay

The Sea Turtle is a very clean well built single level home from 5StarVR with a large open living space and great views of the beach, ocean and Bodega Bay. The home was renovated in 2021 to add another bathroom for a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths with 2 of the bedrooms with full baths en-suite. There are new hardwood floors and fresh paint throughout including kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The master bathroom is spa like with a double steam shower and double size whirlpool tub. A lot of new furniture is also in place so you won't find any old hand me downs from home. There are also 2 washers and 2 dryers to get your laundry done faster.

The views are wonderful, and this property offers an up close experience with wildlife a few feet from the deck as the space between houses is a favorite path for deer, wild turkey and quail.

Please see our 5StarVR site for information about our personal chefs, caterers, massages, Yoga instructors & personal trainers as well as great information about local restaurants & wineries and fun things to do in the area. All of our vacation rentals are completely stocked with essential cookware, dinnerware and consumable supplies like toilet paper; paper towels; shampoo & conditioner; bath, dish hand and laundry soaps; and various trash bags. Luxurious linens are also provided. The hot tub is heated at no additional charge all year. Bring your electric car! We added a 240 volt outlet so now you can get a full charge for your electric car. All houses are non-smoking indoors.

This is an amazing property for family and friends to gather but it is NOT a party house! Please note that outdoor amplified music is prohibited at vacation rentals in the County and campers are not allowed in the driveway. There are cameras that monitor parking areas and decimal meters that alert us to excessive noise. Quiet time for this County is between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Groups that abuse these rules will be subject to immediate eviction and could be subject to large fines and potential legal action.

My friends and I have stayed at several properties and the Sea Turtle was A. We had more than enough room and the fully equipped kitchen and amenities exceeded our expectations. The Property Manager was also very responsive and helpful.

Peaceful getaway

The house was well stocked and loved that it was all on one level. Best part was all the rooms had king beds and were cozy. Communication was great and easy check in and out.

Turtle House at Dillon Beach was cozy, inviting, and well designed for family getaway.

The floorplan was really well configured to allow for privacy as needed, but group activities as desired! Kitchen was well stocked with all cooking items needed for any meal!

Dillon Beach Tranquility

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The house is comfortable and well appointed. The views of the bay from the house are spectacular and the quiet hillside area was lovely with deer grazing all day.

Great views, king beds, comfy and well-stocked home

This property was perfect for a quick getaway to Dillon Beach. The open kitchen and ample serving ware and utensils made it fun and easy to cook at the house. Highly recommend this spot.

Dillon Beach Overlook

Beautiful views and spectacular sunsets! Access to great hiking. House was very comfortable with four great bedrooms and a more than adequate kitchen, and the hot tub was a nice plus.

ABSOLUTELY BEST SPOT IN DILLON

This is an incredible place. The view is by far the best in all of Dillon Beach. The house is well appointed and the beds are first class! Contact the owner before you book. He is great!!

Perfect for a group getaway!

We were 8 friends who get away annually, often to the CA coast. This house has 4 king size beds plus ample bathroom facilities and a perfect great-room arrangement. The kitchen was well-stocked and we did all our own cooking during our stay and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

Awesome Stay

Great place for family. Beach is about a 15-20 minute walk straight downhill. The walk back is tough. If you drive to the beach, parking is $10 a car. Kitchen was well stocked. Cleanliness was on point. Great property overall.

So comfortable and perfect for our group

We were so happy with our VRBO experience! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was everything we needed it to be (sharp knives, gas stove, etc). It was close to the ocean and had a beautiful view. In addition, any issues we had were immediately addressed by the management. We will definitely be coming back here again!

Ideal for our Group

This property was perfect for our group of three couples and one single. The place was on a hill overlooking the beach with great views. The kitchen was well equipped which was great for us since we cooked all our breakfasts and dinners at the house. We walked on Dillon Beach, drove over to Bodega Bay which has beautiful hiking paths and dramatic scenery, and ate lunch at great fish restaurants in the area. We were there in January—weather sunny and in the mid to upper 60’s, perfect for long walks. In addition, management was very responsive to any questions.

Perfect getaway house for family gathering

Sea Turtle was one of the best laid floor plan beach houses we have rented. So nice to have 3 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms and all on one floor to keep an eye on little ones. Views were great and it was so peaceful and quiet away from the hub of Dillon beach but not so far away you couldn't just go to the beach. Perfect! Also house was very well outfitted in the kitchen . The beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Family Vacay

Loved the size of the property and spacial layout. Property definitely shows signs of age and attention needed. Pots and pans were in horrible condition, the 'binder' needs updating and cleanup. Overall good property.

Great house and weekend

Loved our time at the Sea Turtle. House was as advertised. Very helpful host, especially when we locked ourselves out! Some work being done on a neighboring house affected our view a bit, but nothing to be done about that and seemed pretty temporary. Thanks so much!

Great spot

Loved the layout of the home- a great collection of games and puzzles for all ages kept us gathered and laughing. Kitchen and cooking utensils/pots and pans were more than expected, all new and matching. As foodies and cooks, this was very important to us and everything was better than expected, fresh, and comfortable. Would definitely return.

Four generations gathered to meet newest member

The house was perfect for family to come together to meet our first grandchild. The house was very clean. Well organized. We had plenty of room to do puzzles, play games and eat. The kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms are all quiet and comfortable. We will definitely be back soon.

great stay for my family

we had multi generation of family celebrating my dad's 90th birthday. The living area is very spacious, with a huge dinning table that seated us all together. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a large group. it is very well stocked. We the more fit ones in the group, took a couple walks to the beach, it's a steep hill down, and even steeper hill back up. Great exercise! The views are beautiful from on top of the hill.

Great getaway

Loved our stay! House is located away from traffic and crowds in scenic setting. Great beach just a few minutes from house. House was well supplied with everything for our stay. Beautifully furnished bedrooms with King beds. Nice deck to enjoy the ocean views. 5StarVR and Mgr. Randy make it a very easy process to rent. It was great that pets were welcome. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. My only suggestion would be to add a couple chaise lounges for the deck.

Very Nice Pet Friendly Home

We enjoyed our stay at this home very much. We have stayed at many pet friendly vacation homes and this was one of the nicest. There were a couple of things that happened that were out of the host's control. The temperatures were unusually high and the home did get very hot and humid. We also could not open the big sliders in the main living area to help cool down the house because there were wasps that kept coming into the house. We let the host know about the wasp situation and they are going to take care of it. Overall our stay at this home was very pleasant!

Great place for our Thanksgiving

Our family of 4 adults and 1 four-year-old had a great time at Sea Turtle. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We had some trouble with the TV connecting but we figured out a way to watch football & soccer, despite the connectivity issues. The lights in laundry room went out but that was not a problem. Randy was great when we talked to him, though we weren't able to use the Dish TV.

Beautiful home, a lovely trip!

We so enjoyed our stay with our grown sons and our daughter in law at the Sea Turtle! It was spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with many amenities. The hot tub was great! The first few days were really stormy, so we're glad we'd brought plenty of food, and we made good use of the well equipped kitchen. We do recommend they replace the pots and pans, they're badly scratched. The wood burning stove worked very well, you just need to bring your own wood. Having 4 bedrooms with king beds made for great sleeping arrangements. Fantastic views, and overall a great stay! I will say, the walk to the beach was too strenuous for most of us, but we just drove down to Lawson's Landing and paid a nominal parking fee.
