WE HAVE MADE MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES AND WE ARE READY TO SHARE THIS EXPERIENCE WITH OTHERS. THIS IS A PERFECT COTTAGE FOR A SMALL FAMILY BUT WILL ALSO ACCOMMODATE UP TO 6 PEOPLE. THE SEALE SHACK FEATURES 2 BEDROOMS AND 2 BATHROOMS. MASTER HAS ITS OWN PRIVATE BATHROOM AND QUEEN SIZE BED. SECOND BEDROOM IS SET UP WITH BUNK STYLE DOUBLE SLEEPER ON BOTTOM AND SINGLE ON TOP, THERE IS ALSO A SINGLE SLEEPER TRUNDLE PULL OUT. EACH BEDROOM IS SET UP WITH THEIR OWN TV'S /INDIVIDUALLY CONTROLLED AC AND HEATING UNITS . DINNER SEATING FOR ENTIRE FAMILY. LAUNDRY LOCATED INSIDE JUST OFF THE KITCHEN. Perfect cottage at the Beach

Lovely cottage at the beach, our short stay was made easy with beach toys available for our two and half yr grandchild, all amenities close by. Our host was easy to contact and helpful. Would love to spend longer there next time:)

AMAZING Beach Cottage!!

My family and I (including our 11 and 13 year old daughters) have been coming every summer for the past 5 or 6 years to Mission Beach for a week and have stayed in a different home every time. This home is by far our favorite place thus far! Linda has made this cottage very cozy and has thought of all of the little details that her guests would need. Her garage is filled with beach toys, plenty of bikes, boogie boards, umbrellas and chairs (the list goes on!). Her kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever had in a rental. She was also fantastic with communicating before and during our entire stay. The location is great (steps away from the beach) and we absolutely loved eating all of our meals and just relaxing on the front patio. We would absolutely love to come back and stay at the Seale Shack again!

Summer family vacation

The best little cottage one can ask for on a family vacation. Cozy, clean, location perfect, garage full of toys. It was the best and the landlord is awesome to work with, we'll be back! Thank YOU!!

Perfect!

House is so cute and can’t beat the location. Linda is the best host and so easy to work with. They are locals so they were always around if we needed anything. Garage is packed with beach gear and bikes and having a place to park is priceless in that area. Highly recommend!

Cottage on the beach

Beautifully designed and cared for 2 BR walking distance to beach. 2 adults and 2 teens comfortably fit in and all enjoyed the entire stay. Equipped better than any VRBO we have stayed in. Anyone should enjoy this beautiful beach cottage.

Best cottage ever!

This was our second time staying here and I can't think of one thing that we would change. The decor, the area, proximity to the beach. Mattresses and couch are super comfy, everything is well stocked. It's fabulous and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Seale Shack. It met the needs of our family perfectly (we traveled with our 2 year old and 6 year old). Our favorite thing by far is the proximity to the beach, and all of the beach accoutrement that was supplied - towels, chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys. The property was very comfortable, and it was really nice to not have any stairs (everywhere else we've stayed in Mission Beach is a multi story building). All in all a really great stay!

Perfect location and patio!

This beach house is fantastic! It was clean, cute and comfortable. The garage was very well stocked with beach stuff. We really enjoyed our stay. The front patio is the perfect place to sit and relax and people watch. Must get cinnamon rolls from Olive! Perfect location just a few steps to the beach and easy walk to PB. Only suggestion would be to have a couch and gas fire pit on patio. We spent a lot of time hanging out there! Overall a great stay and we would stay there again.

We absolutely loved staying here! It was the best location — close to the beach, close to lots of restaurants, across the street from a coffee shop… everything! We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful Stay

My husband, mother in law, two children (3yr & 6yr), and myself traveled from Dallas to stay here. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. We always felt safe and would stay here again.

Fantastic Beach House!

Our family had a great time staying at the Seale Shack! The house is in a perfect location, just steps to the beach, and comes fully stocked with everything needed for a wonderful beach vacation. The house was very well kept, very clean, and in great condition. Linda was an awesome host and responded quickly to any messages. It was very obvious that Linda takes pride in this home and wants her guests to feel welcome and have a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the Seale Shack to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Thanks, Linda!

Perfect Beach Cottage

Seale Shack is a perfect beach getaway for a family. Close proximity to beach, tons of water sports gear and close to so many San Diego attractions. Our family had a wonderful time. We loved hanging out on the porch, taking walks along the beach, Olive’s bakery, surfing, and so much more. Could not have asked for a better spot. Linda is fantastic as an owner and was very prompt with any questions that arose.

Happy Little House

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a great location to the beach and a dangerous location to a very tasty bakery across the street. The house was small and cozy, which kept us all interacting as opposed to everyone going off on their own. Walking distance to everything and Instacart, for everything else! Comfortable, clean, happy.

EXCELLENT! BEST PLACE IN MISSION BEACH!

We typically stay in Mission Beach a couple times each year and have stayed at many different places. This is by far the cleanest and most convenient place we have stayed! Everything about this cottage was perfect! Linda, the owner, is very communicative and obviously takes great pride in making sure that everything is in order for her guests. Everything was right on site for us to use: beach gear, bikes, toiletries, towels. We have yet to stay at the same place in Mission Beach twice, but that's about to change! Can't say enough good things about this cottage! Stay here if you can!!!!!

Can't wait to return!

This spot a few houses from the boardwalk/ocean is outstanding! The home is spotless and equipped with everything you can think of (and even the stuff you don't). The beds are comfortable, the blankets are soft, and the front patio is the best place to people watch. There is a lovely bakery and restaurants within walking distance. We took full advantage of the bikes in the garage. Even with imperfect weather we had an amazing trip. Everything is 15-20 min away, great location! We will definitely be back, thank you, Linda!!

Christmas at the beach

Everything at this property was exactly as described. The house was clean, cozy and had everything we could have possibly needed. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. Linda decorated for Christmas and it was adorable! The beds were very comfortable. It was the perfect home away from home for our family to spend Christmas. She thought of everything. We made Christmas dinner in the well stocked kitchen. The beach was steps away and we could see the ocean from the front deck! Our teenagers used the provided body boards and surf boards and spent hours in the ocean. We were fortunate enough to have had unseasonably warm weather for Christmas and really got to enjoy the beach. I loved walking a few miles on the ocean front boardwalk, located steps away from the house every morning. My husband and daughter went for afternoon bike rides on one of the many bikes provided for our use. The neighborhood felt very safe. And was perfectly located in the middle of Mission Beach. We enjoyed the bakery directly across the streets epic cinnamon rolls. and The Restaurant at the end of the street was also very good. It was a short drive to all the attractions of downtown San Diego. We would love to stay here again. I cannot say enough about how this property and the location exceeded our expectations!

A wonderfull place to stay

The house was very nice, with lots of small details and we enjoyed our stay so much. Very good appliances, there was nothing we couldnt't find. The location of the house is just perfect, the garage is full of equipment to use. Also Linda is the perfect host. Thank you very much!

Outstanding Beach Vacation

Clean, beautiful, classic beach property. Ideally located steps from the fabulous Mission Beach and a short walk to the bay. Stocked with anything you can imagine: 8 bikes, 8 paddle/surf boards, 8 wet suits, 8 boogie boards, as well as skate boards, tennis rackets, beach chairs, games, etc. One of the best parts is the front deck, with outdoor speakers, chairs, tables, umbrellas, grill, etc. When we weren't busy with the many activities available along the boardwalk or the downtown gas lamp district, we enjoyed chatting with passers by and just hanging out listening to great music.
