Captain`s House B2-Ocean Front | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

Oceanfront with direct beach access, this quaint seaside respite, built on Amelia Island in 1983, includes only nine spacious villas. Each unit is directly situated on sand and sea with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and a living room that opens to an oceanfront deck. A staircase connects each of the three floors, including the two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms in Captain's House B2. A private boardwalk takes you to the beach, where you can explore and bask in the incredible views to your content. The condos of the Captain's House are a perfect place for quiet getaways, wonderful family gatherings, and vacations of all kinds. These are a premier Amelia Island vacation rental! Please note that you will have to take stairs to get to the property no elevator is on site.

All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach towels are also provided for you to use during your stay.

We also ask all guests to complete a registration form with Amelia Island Vacations through the secure site of DocuSign.

There is a credit processing fee of $35 that will be charged if you cancel your booking, regardless of the booking or cancellation date.

Some furniture may change in quantity or availability from photos due to season or weathering.

Beautiful View

This condo was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and has everything we needed. The view was stunning. We will be back next year! We loved Amelia Island.

June Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at The Captain's House B2. The condo was as pictured . Only a 4 cup coffee maker provided, spent a lot of time making coffee. The beds were comfy & gave a good nights sleep. Never able to connect to the internet with any info provided. The deck was great- the beach was red flagged every day so we spend a lot of time there reading and enjoying the sights and sounds of the sand and ocean. Convenient to eateries and downtown area. We would return for a stay here.

Favorite location!!

Captains house NEVER disappoints!! Best location for beach access, restaurants, and downtown! This was our 5th time staying at the Captains house and we will be back next summer!

Great location

We were in tow. For a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay. The home is perfectly equipped and the beach view is amazing. Communication with the host was excellent. I would stay again.

Short family vacation

We are very pleased with this rental unit. Its beautifully decorated, very clean and well stocked with amenities including beach gear. For me the only down side is that its not pet friendly. That would make it perfect!

The cottage was nice but noisy , the flushing and water noise , dog barking below. People above walking heavy footed. The sink in the master bath was draining slow clogged. Enjoyed the beach and stay.

Quiet place with amazing view of the beach.

The perfect place to relax. Watching the sunrise in the morning from the balcony was a peaceful and relaxing experience. The place was up to date, clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants close by. The beach is just a step off the well maintained porch. The property manager responded immediately to every inquiry. I will return again and again.

Best kept secret!

This was our third time to stay at the captains house and it never disappoints. The condo was immaculate and provided everything we needed. The view and the short walk to the beach makes this the ideal place to stay! We will definitely be back next year!

The Best Time

We had the best time here. The view was spectacular and the walk to the beach from the property was amazing and right there! We had neighbors on either side of us and above and below us. Did not have any issues with noise. We did have a hard time getting the wifi to connect to our phones. I text the property management and they responded very quickly and offered to have someone come to the property to help us. The tv in the living room was connected and we didn't care too much about getting it on our phone so we declined the offer for help. It wasn't a big deal for us to go through all that trouble. We appreciated the fast service and the offer to help though. Best stay yet. Will be back for sure.

Brief getaway

Horrible

There seem to be one or more little kids upstairs who are running back and forth for hours every day. apparently there are no carpets on their floor because it's like a base drum. We would never stay here again. Unfortunately, we have another month. I would pay a premium to move to another property if that's available. Otherwise, not sure what we'll do. This is crazy!

Perfect location on the beach. Loved being able to sit on the deck or look out the wndows when it rained one day. Beautiful views. Loved Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach....would return in a heartbeat.

Perfect location

This unit was exactly as listed. Perfect location and friendly neighbors in all units. Would love to return for another vacation. Recommend new towels or bring your own (we never found any beach towels) and the blender top is missing the middle section so you will need to hold your hand over it. These are nothing that interferes with our stay, just recommendations.

Such a great experience at this condo, the beach was right there, everything was close by. The condo was really clean and had everything we needed. Property manager was super easy to text. Overall great stay. Will book again.

Sunrises and Shark teeth

This property was as exactly as advertised. Yes you are the center unit in a 9 unit building and still pleasantly quiet. Shared back deck was not an issue w other renters. And as promised- OCEANFRONT. The view is amazing! Chairs. Toys. Towels. Boogie boards. All standard issue. Nothing fancy. Worth every extra $100/night vs. the other properties we were researching. Did I mention the view?! The unit was clean. Nice big fridge. Bathrooms were small but manageable. It was us and our 3 children 11/10/8 yrs old. I would recommend this place over and over and I would stay again!
