peaceful quiet weekend

cabin was clean roomy, kitchen was well equipped there were tvs in bedrooms and living and a great electric fireplace. The outside ammenities were great as well I would highly reccomend this cabin

Vacation

My finance and I booked a little getaway. This cabin was everything we hoped for. We enjoyed the hot tub and all the surroundings in Stanley. We visited luray caverns and hiked old rag. The cabin was clean and furnished beautifully. The cabin owners were easy to get up with and answered all questions quickly. Highly recommend and would rebook in the future.

Wonderful family vacation!

The property was beautiful and the perfect size for our family vacation! Loved that we were able to bring our dog with us! The cabin was clean, organized, and well maintained. It was also stocked with plenty of appliances to be able to cook meals at the cabin. Brenda (one of the owners)was super friendly! The hot tub was great at the end of a long day. And the firepit was stocked with plenty of wood and we had a great time roasting marshmallows and hot dogs! We had a fantastic time both at the cabin and around the area. There was a near by lake (Arrowhead) that had a section of sand so it was like visiting the beach for a day. We also visited the Luray Caverns and the connecting museums. Can't wait to visit again! Would love to come back when the kids are a little over to do some hiking, visit the other Caverns that are near by, and to do the rope course. Will definitely stay at Little Al's again! Thanks for the great family vacation!

Magical Escape

Rhis cabin is magical ✨️ 😍 My husband and I wanted a getaway to decompress, it did just that 😊 our 2 boxers loved venturing around too. Very secluded and beautiful starry nights in the hot tub. A must stay if in the area.

Ideal Cabin/Location

It is a wonderful property. Perfect mix of being "isolated" in the woods/away from the world, but still close to basic conveniences, stores, etc., with all the amenities (Wi-Fi, satellite TV, hot tub, full kitchen, etc. Host are excellent -- friendly, responsive, etc. This was our fourth stay and looking forward to being back

Relaxing place!

The cabin was very clean and very well stocked. Hot tub clean and ready. Natural around is peaceful and beautiful. One down side, one of the days the one of the owners was working in the woods with a chainsaw and it was a little loud to sit outside. Otherwise everything was perfect!

My Niece and I had a little girls weekend and stumbled across this gem . Our plan was to drive and hike the parkway ..the weather didn't cooperate but we did enjoy the lovely stay at the cabin and loved the hot tub ! Everything was clean and cozy

Great stay!

The cleanliness of this cabin was impeccable. The owners go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. We would definitely stay there again. The only complaint I have is that there is a view of a big garage and some trucks on one side of the cabin. Other than that, it was perfect!

Our 3rd stay at this lovely cabin

This cabin can't be beat when it comes to peace and solitude yet the town and grocery is less than 5 miles away. The cabin is always clean and well stocked with everything we need. The owners are very nice. It snowed while we were there and Lynwood came that morning and cleared the road to the cabin and driveway.

Anniversary trip

Amazing weekend. Plenty of things to do in the area that were very close, yet very remote at the same time. Home was very clean and comfortable. We loved it so much we already have a trip planned to return within a month of our first stay. Thank you Brenda and Linwood.

Wedding weekend stay

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin near Luray, VA. All the features were just as advertised in the listing. The cabin had two comfortable bedrooms, a large living room and an adjacent dining area next to a fully stocked kitchen. It is really deep into the woods and there is a lovely pond nearby. We enjoyed hiking and listening to the night sounds of the woods in summer. I would highly recommend this for a short getaway.

Great cabin in the woods

We had a great long weekend at the Little Al cabin! It was clean, inviting, well organized and equipped. We loved the large covered patio and had several nice meals out there. It was very peaceful and it was a really nice place to relax with the birdsong all around us. There was no phone signal (AT&T and T-Mobile), but as the WiFi was good, that wasn’t an issue. We will definitely be back.

Getaway to Shenandoah

House was clean and property was well kept. The kitchen was adequately stocked and there were plenty of linens and supplies available. Our only complaint (which was probably our own doing, being unfamiliar with the area) the cabin is probably 35-40 minutes from two different National Park entrance points. So for anyone looking to access Shenandoah National Park just be aware that although the national park boundaries are nearby the closest entrance to the park is still a decent drive away. The house and property itself met our expectations.

A restful getaway

We had a relaxing weekend away in this hidden gem. The cabin was clean and fully stocked with linens and cookware. The hot tub was clean and the perfect temperature. The fire pit was stocked with seasoned wood. We enjoyed fishing in the owners catch and release pond. We caught a fish with almost every cast. The resort grounds are beautifully decorated. A bonus to us - we were lucky to enjoy a great fireworks show from the on-site wedding. Most of all, the owners live nearby and are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. They are happy to help with whatever you may need.

We built our log home and loved it!. We decided to build a few cabins so other people could enjoy cabin life and the beautiful area. In 2007 we started the vacation rental business and have enjoyed talking to and meeting new people from all over the world. Many guests have made our cabins a place to return to make memories. Some of the children call it their cabin and want to know when it is time to return.

This mountain area was in my husbands family and we were lucky enough to purchase it. It has fond memories for us and our children at the pond where picnics and fishing were enjoyed. There is a picnic shelter by the pond with a stone fireplace.
