Perfect Getaway Spot

We really enjoyed out stay here. The cabin was very nice and secluded, yet not far from the places we came to visit.

Lovely Cabin Trip!

This gorgeous little cabin was absolutely perfect for our short getaway! It's a quick (and lovely) drive to Shenandoah National Park and other attractions (highly recommend Old Hill Cider close by). Would absolutely stay here again. PS - Keep an eye out for the local deer...they are not afraid of people!

Lovely Remote Getaway

We enjoyed this remote stay near New Market. We used it as our base station for hikes at Shenandoah and local historic battlefield visits. The hot tub was a nice bonus after a long day of hiking.

Great cabin that over and over again exceeded our expectations. Perfectly remote getaway to relax and enjoy ourselves. Driveable to many things to do if you like small towns, caves, and hiking!

Perfect Private woodland retreat

Cozy cabin with a hot tub. Right by some caverns with some good trails nearby. Owners were super nice and helpful. Highly recommended

Great Communication / Cute Cottage in the Woods

We had a very pleasant stay at Rusty's Retreat. It's a great place to relax for a few days with a small family or group and the family dog. The hot tub and outdoor firepit were particularly fun. When we had questions, host Tony always answered very promptly. Thanks again!

Best little hideaway

This place was really nice, everything was clean and accessible, communication was really good and the stores were within a 10-15 minute drive. Will definitely be renting this place again for a relaxing getaway. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Perfect mountain getaway

It’s so cozy! Perfect place for a long weekend get away (or extended stay) to enjoy the peace of being in the mountains. House was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. About a 45 minute drive to the nearest NP entrance but lots of nice views in town and a scenic drive made it a great spot.

Family Cabin Trip

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Rusty’s! Beautiful area, gorgeous view, great location & even better local events/things to do. We swapped our annual beach camping trip this year for the cabin & I think this will be our new annual trip! The owners were amazing, communicative & helpful with any of my questions! Roads will test you but it felt like living in Germany again-loved it!

Charming Cottage

Cottage was very clean and comfortable as well as private. It was great for a weekend away. The host was very quick with responding. Even with the storms, the internet still ran great. Highly recommend and will be back!

Great Stay

The house was cute, clean, and well stocked. I had an issue with the keurig and the owner was nice enough to bring over a brand new coffee maker. It’s very secluded. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Mountain visit

We had a wonderful time! Very well maintained and modern cabin. Comfortable beds and furniture. Private location. Very relaxing time. Communication with owner was very smooth. Great diner in town and close to Luray Caverns. Overall, we had a great getaway! We would highly recommend and hope to go back soon!
