This beautiful home on prestigious Columbia Ave is 1 short block to one of New Jersey's best beaches and 1 block to downtown. The home has nine (9) bedrooms, 8 having a private bath with a total of 9 1/2 baths. Fully air conditioned and heated.
Brand new large kitchen, including 6 stove tops, double oven , two microwaves, two dishwashers, traditional coffee makers and Keurig coffee pod system, two refrigerators with icemaker , one mini beverage refrigerator , 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, Food processor, blender, handmixer, and crockpot ! Cook up a storm! And electric vehicle charger…. for most cars plus a Tesla adapter.

Large living room with fireplace, beautiful dining room and enclosed inside porch for those chilly evenings or for watching the horse and carriages pass by the front door. Secluded and private library. Off street parking, outside shower, and outdoor seating for those summer BBQs. Large entertainment room with big screen TV with lots of seating., also doubles as a bedroom at night with its own full bathroom. This home has everything you can possibly need for your enjoyment; WiFi throughout, a TV in every bedroom-all are smart TVs for streaming. A blueray player in our family room too and even a Beach Box already reserved for our guests right at the beach so no need to carry your chairs back and forth. Some bedrooms even have electric fire places for that romantic feel. Every detail accounted for, and all in pristine condition. Just come and enjoy! Perfect house for extended families, reunions or corporate events. Great escape for girls week away or guys golf outing. Lots of privacy for all. Steve and I live in Northern NJ about 2.5 hours from our Cape May Properties.
We barely knew Cape may before purchasing properties there. We fell in love with the town. We now feel like we know a lot about Cape May but we are always learning.
Steve works in NYC in Information technology while I manage the vacation rental properties.
By education I am a health care professional ( Physician Assistant) but chose to stay at home with my children full time. Together we have 4 children ( one each from a previous marriage and 2 together) So at this point in my life when the youngest ones are about to start college, I am enjoying the work involved with managing vacation rentals and communicating with guests from all over the country and other countries too. I've been fortunate to get to meet some of our renters and some have even become friends.

My husband and I fell in love with this 1866 home on first site and imagined spending some family time with our 4 children there but loved that it had enough room for extended family as well. Having a house that sleeps up to 25 really has it's advantages. We imagine that at least one of our kids will want to get married in Cape May. One got engaged there!
The previous owners took very good care of the house as do we and it is truly a "labor of love"
The architecture is beautiful and the interior has so many of the original details of the home. We feel very at home here and very blessed.

Situated on beautiful Columbia Avenue, considered by many to be the nicest block in Cape May. Just 1 block to the Beach and 2 blocks to the Main Strip with shops and restaurants so this town is very walkable from this property. You barely need a car to do anything.
The house has ample parking up to 7 cars while parking is hard to come by in Cape May April thru October.
We also offer a beach locker right on the beach for you to keep your belongings all week which is extremely convenient.
Lots of privacy in this home with many nice sized bedrooms with their own bathrooms so you can have your alone time when sharing a home with a large group. Each bedroom has a TV as well which can help you relax in your own quarters.
Excellent WIFI high Speed internet throughout.
Fabulous Porch to people watch and enjoy the Horse and Buggies clip clop by. ( I still get excited and run to the front door to see them when I hear their hoof steps)
Having two kitchens has made this house very easy to entertain. Cooking is easy and convenient.
With 3 ovens and 2 stove tops and 2 microwaves and 2 dishwashers, the work time is cut in half.
Cape May is a very special and unique place. Not only does it have truly fabulous restaurants but it offers many things that other beach towns don't. There are Wineries and breweries, farms and nature walks, history and beautiful architecture, and live theater. It's a year round town that has much to do in the Fall and the Spring and the Holiday season. Just 15 minutes to the Zoo, 10 minutes to the Ferry to Delaware for outlet shopping and 45 minutes to Atlantic city, its a convenient spot. Don't miss the Exit 0 Jazz festivals and in fact all the festivals and entertainment the City of Cape May has to offer.
Our house has been chosen for their holiday tours because of it's beauty and location.
