Such a cute place for two people. Love the decor, small touches, and relaxation.Definitely, will come back again.So close to the sound to see the beautiful sunset.

This was a nice cozy little place, perfect for 2 of us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great, very cold. It was close to shops and the beach. The host had a beach umbrella and chairs with towels available. the restaurants we ate at were really good. There are all kinds of menus available at the beach house. What little interaction we had or needed with the host, he was quick to reply. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice location to beach and historic, scenic sites. Ad needs more clarity regarding a “kitchen.” There is virtually NO kitchen, no sink or countertops. A small bathroom sink for washing out coffee pot, cups, pans, etc. Not practical for cooking, serving, or eating meals. Very small working space and breakfast table ( barely sits 2 people.)

Beautiful accommodations, very well decorated and very comfortable. We had adult children stay here for a family visit, and they highly recommend this apartment for 2 and the gracious hosts were wonderful to work with. Highly recommend this for a quiet OBX stay

“the recess” was a perfect place for our first couples vacation, the owners were so accommodating and nice. even with people staying upstairs it was quiet and we had nice evenings. i would definitely come stay here again:)

Great Stay and Very Personable

Had a wonderful time, great location, very clean and even had a hand written note with some salt water taffy when you arrived which shows the owner care about your stay.

Cozy Cottage

Our stay was amazing! This cozy cottage had everything we needed for a weekend getaway and was clean, well prepared and absolutely lovely! We enjoyed every minute of it.
