Your perfect vacation begins at Agape Cottages where you will feel right at home. The Agape back home is a 4 bedroom 2 bath guest house that will comfortably sleep 8. The kitchen is fully stocked and the home includes laundry facilities. Conveniently located one block from historic Main Streets shopping and fine dining. Combine our Agape front home that sleeps 4 with the Agape back house for a total of 12. Or combine the back, front, and side queen suite to sleep 14 comfortably. Perfect for reunions, ladies shopping weekend, or wedding groups.

Perfect stay!

Traveled in for a girls weekend and loved this house. Wonderful location, right off Main. Cute, clean, and very comfortable. Will come back!

Perfectly Walkable Location

The house was just as pictured and in a perfect location. We only used our vehicles when we left Fredericksburg. The owner and property caretaker could not have been kinder or more welcoming. Highly recommend!

College Friend reunion weekend

We had a great weekend enjoying Fredericksburg. Everything was easy to walk to from the house. The house was great, very well stocked. We would definitely stay there again.

Spacious and steps from Main St

The home was clean, wonderfully decorated and spacious Complete with a large front porch and rocking chairs. The owners had complimentary snacks, cold beverages and toiletries on hand for guests. We highly recommend this lovely home steps from Main St.

Our Family Birthday Celebration Trip

My husband and I hosted my parents, who were celebrating big birthdays, and our college aged sons for a long weekend at Agape Cottages. The moment we walked through the door we knew we were in for a special trip. The house was so perfect and much prettier in person (if that’s even possible)..With four bedrooms we were able to spread out but come together in the spacious living room and kitchen and on the wonderful front porch. We spent 4 days shopping, dining, hiking at Enchanted Rock and enjoying the property. The house is just off Main Street and walkable to all of the fun! Thank you so much for helping to make our trip a wonderful memory!

Great location and amenities

Had a ladies weekend away with my girlfriends and the agape back cottage was perfect. We were so pleased with all the extra little amenities offered from drinks and snacks down to lint rollers and toiletries. The house was clean and location was nice as we could walk to Main Street. Check in and check out were super simple and the area of the house was very quiet. Will definitely be back.

Loved the furnishings and linens. It felt like home when you walked in. Perfect porch setting. Best furnished kitchen that made cooking easy. The snacks, etc were so thoughtful. Thank you!

Great place to stay in Fredericksburg!

First rate accommodations! We came for a few days getaway from Houston with our son who just finished his first semester of college in Boston. He wanted to spend time with our two family dogs as well so we brought them along and they loved the backyard and walks around the neighborhood. The cottage was comfortable and cozy and the owners spared no detail - snacks, drinks, coffee, extra blankets, fire logs, washer and dryer, bathroom toiletries, etc. We were more than comfortable and happy with our stay. Highly recommend!

Family Trip

The location to your place was excellent for our needs being just a block or two from the main shopping area. We were unexpectedly surprised to see drinks and snacks available when we arrived. House is fully stocked with all the comforts of home down to soaps, lotions, and even bath salts. Very nice touch. I would highly consider your place on future visits to Fredericksburg. Also, going in the Spring was a special treat with all the wild flowers in bloom. Thanks for making your place available for folks like us that want all the comforts of home when we travel.

Great House!!

The house was amazing!! Great location to everything. It was nice we could walk to Main St. The yard and porch, where we spent a great deal of time, were so peaceful yet big enough to play some yard games. There were also a lot of little touches that did not go unnoticed by all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable. Most importantly, especially during a pandemic, it was very clean with hand sanitizer and an air purifier. The owners were very quick to respond with any question had. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this house. We will be back!!

Better than your average rental property!

Weekend away with family at the Agape Cottage in the back. The cottage is exactly as depicted, no surprises. One block off Main St and walkable to all that the Main St area has to offer. Since it is off Main Street, it is very quiet and no traffic noise. Short walk to the Museum of the Pacific which was enjoyed by all. The owners provided all kinds of snacks and treats and beverages which was a nice touch and I hadn’t experienced that previously with a vacation rental and I’ve rented places from coast to coast. The home is well provisioned but the best part was definitely the beds. Most comfy beds ever with luxurious linens better than most rentals provide, truly amazing! Short drive to grocery store (HEB!), We enjoyed our stay and will return again soon. Great weekend in Fredricksburg!

Delightful

The house was perfect for our holiday family gathering. The house was cozy but easily accommodated our group. The big open kitchen was well appointed and made holiday cooking easy. Our hosts added touches around the house to make it inviting. They were warm and easy to work with. Would love to stay here again!

Restful Agape week-end

The house is lovely and clean! Quiet location just off the Main Street chaos of crowds. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Jim and Karen Richardson own and operate the Agape Cottage guest houses . Jim handles the reservations while Karen decorates the homes and makes sure the cottages are in perfect condition, both inside and out. Together, they are a great husband/wife team that give a positive experience to the guest staying at Agape Cottages. Jim and Karen also own and operate the Linens n More in Fredericksburg and all guest at Agape Cottages receive a discount in the linen store during their stay.

Agape Cottages were originally purchased for use as a warehouse for the linens n more in town. Because of the close proximity to town and their charm, they turned out to be desired properties by our guest. One common yard for all 3 houses make this a great property for groups or a quaint get away for just two.

Extra special care in decorating the houses by Karen Richardson, make your stay feel like home. The 1939 front house reminds you of grandma's house only decorated in todays home fashions. The back home is new construction yet is patterned after a craftsman home of the 30s. The side queen suite is new construction that gives extra room for those needing extra space for the front or back house or can be used for the couple just wanting a quiet get away.
