Entering the home awaits a quant sitting area open to the dining room. The kitchen has metal counters and original painted cabinets. Just off the kitchen is the laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The den is spacious with a gorgeous stone wood burning fireplace. There is private parking off the street behind gates. Whole-house backup generator ensures continued comfort in the event of power outage.

Perfect House in Fred

Excellent place to stay especially if you are planning a longer stay. The home is very nicely laid out allowing privacy for everyone with two living/dining areas plus the outdoor space. Owner has decorated the property beautifully. Neighborhood is very quiet, yet convenient to Main Street and all the restaurants.

Great House!!

We had a wonderful stay with a friend from the UK. The house was decorated for Christmas and with the cozy fireplace it was the perfect place to visit. The house is quite charming, plenty of room, a well stocked kitchen and very reasonable price! 3bedrooms and 3 baths… a bargain.

Wonderful Property!

The property is just as described. It’s roomy and comfortable and has all the things we needed for our stay including WiFi, tv in all the bedrooms, a great back patio, easy parking, quiet neighborhood, a fully stocked kitchen, all linens and a short drive to town. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect house for Oktoberfest

This is the 3rd year we've stayed at this house for Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg. Everybody in our group absolutely loves everything about Heidi's house. Perfect for our size group and it's located within walking distance of the Marketplatz but far enough that you can't hear the activities. Heidi always has it sparkling clean and her check-in/check-out process is super easy. Looking forward to staying here again and again.

Wedding stay

We are a family of 6 adults in Fredericksburg to attend a wedding. House was in a great location and had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which worked well for us. Water was hot for showers, air conditioning worked great and house was clean. Heidi was great to work with and we appreciated her helpfulness.

Great 21st Birthday Celebration for Daughter

We stayed here for a girls trip to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. The house was perfect for our group- PLENTY of room for 4 of us. The house was well appointed and we didn't have a need for anything. Check-in and check-out was easy. Since the girls dressed up with cute (and uncomfortable) shoes we ended up taking an Uber most of the time we went out. Thanks for helping us make wonderful memories!

Lovely, Convenient Property

The house was lovely, and it was so nice to have THREE bathrooms with a group of women! It was so convenient - a short walk to the main street where there was shopping and dining galore! We had a great week in the house, which provided a wonderful base for exploring the Fredericksburg area!

Heidi’s welcoming home

This was our 2nd stay at Heidi’s lovely home in Fredericksburg and we plan to return in the future! Wonderful Stay

Heidi’s Haus is everything you need for a great time in Fredricksburg. Quiet neighborhood that is great for walking, beautiful backyard, comfortable home where everyone can spread out and enjoy themselves. We loved our time together and would not hesitate to stay again.

The house is well situated close to downtown and is very well equipped and comfortable. Strongly recommended to families and parties of 6 as there are 3 baths and comfy beds.

Girl's 60th Birthday Celebration

We enjoyed this very cozy and clean cottage for our girl's trip. Great patio and table for visiting, eating and having coffee. All coffee supplies provided. Communication great with host. Mamacita's is great for take out. Excellent pizza at West End, excellent lunch at Woerner's Warehouse. GREAT time at the Wild Seed farm. Nightlife fun was had at the Velvet Lounge for karoke. Hope to come again!

Sisters & spouses birthday weekend

A quick weekend to Fredericksburg to celebrate a 70th Birthday! The home is spread out with plenty of elbow room! 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds and no adjacent bathroom. So, not ideal for a couple who prefer to sleep in the same bed. The home is 3 blocks from one end of Main Street. Not a bad location but if you have any issues with walking, you would want to drive downtown. Overall the home offers everything you need!

Mom and Daughter getaway

The property is much larger than I imagined. The rooms and bathrooms were well appointed. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac, so very little if any traffic. Very close to downtown. One thing of note, the house has a step down into the large added on room with TV and large dining area. And then a step up for the added on master suite. That won't matter for most people, but since we had one member in our party who was older, and somewhat mobility impaired, we could have planned a little differently. Overall, would stay there again and would highly recommend.

Even better than expected.

Beautifully decorated home with plenty of room for up to 6 people. The three bathrooms made it especially convenient and comfortable. The kitchen had more than we needed. This will be our 1st choice when our family visits again.

Great house!

Very comfortable, close to Main Street, shopping, and dining. Loved the patio for morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Fire pit area good during cool evenings. Beds comfortable and 3 beds/3 bath is perfect.
