The house resembles the description on this site. Good location, 2 nice living rooms, fenced in backyard with a grill. The beds could be better/upgraded.
However, there were items that were broken prior to our stay (old kitchen chair, apparently the shower was off the track, missing chair cushion, etc) that we were blamed for. We didn't break anything in the house as we are all responsible adults and if we did, we would have disclosed upon our departure. We were unfairly charged 40% of our refundable deposit to cover minimal "damage." Even if we did break these items, there's no way it cost 40% of our refund. Also, the property manager didn't actually do the walk through himself (this is what I found out after trying to reach the property manager several times over the phone), he heard about these items through the cleaner. The cleaner isn't responsible to do a walk through after the house has been rented, he's not the property manager. We also weren't notified of these items prior to being charged and it is just an abnormally high price for said "damage."
I'm disappointed. While the house served it's purpose, it was a headache to try and reach the property manager as he was avoiding my phone calls and I had to text him to have a conversation. Also, I would rather deal with someone who actually does the walk through after a stay so they're fully aware of the items that are "broken" or "missing" beforehand. It's just a headache.
