Kona Isle Condos are located on the Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, and are individually and privately owned. The gorgeous 74-unit complex is meticulously maintained and blissfully tranquil. While staying at Kona Isle you can swim, relax by the pool, or watch the whales and dolphins passing by as you listen to the soothing sounds of the ocean's surf. Treat your eyes to the breathtaking views from anywhere on site, or enjoy peace and quiet, and great sunsets while barbecuing on the BBQ's overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Wireless internet is available in our Library, as well as many books to read. Kona Isle is located 1 mile from Kailua town and close to shops, seaside restaurants, nightlife and beaches.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our anniversary. We enjoyed drinking coffee and eating breakfast on the lanai while watching spinner dolphins off the coast. The beds were comfortable and the place had all the amenities we needed, including beach chairs and a cooler for beach excursions. The location could not be beat. We definitely can’t wait to come back to this piece of paradise!

Fantastic Views

We had a lovely stay at Kona Isle. The unit was comfortable and close to town. The views were fantastic and the people from Knutson and associates were quick to respond to any questions or needs that arose. We are definitely considering a return visit in the near future and would book this property again.

a week getaway

The location at the water's edge was perfect. Watching and hearing the waves crash was mesmerizing! The condo was a bit over decorated for our taste and very comfortable.

Beautiful View

This condo had the most beautiful view from the balcony. The pictures we took from the balcony at sunset with the palm trees and the ocean look just like a postcard. The condo is exactly like the pictures. We had a very nice stay.

PERFECT!

The view is stunning. You can hear the waves while you sleep, it’s so peaceful. You can see dolphins in the distance. The sunsets are indescribable. All the decor was intentional and beautiful. Everything you need was provided. Loved the kitchen, clean and stocked with appliances. Check in was very easy, and communication was great. One of the best Vrbo experiences I ever had. Mahalo!

October 2024 stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo's location was excellent. The unit itself could have been cleaner and definitely needed updating. The shower curtain was dirty, the window curtains were also dirty.

NOTE: There is no beach access at this property but their is a pool. Overall, the property was well maintained and close to everything; restaurants, shops, beachlets, parks, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc. Nice and quite too. For the price you can't beat this gem of a condo, it was a great way to explore Kailua Kona.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay at Kona Isle. The suite was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was conveniently located near restaurants and beaches (and not too far from downtown Kona) and the ocean view from the lanai was amazing! We even saw a pod of dolphins swimming past on our first day. Everyone we met at the complex was very friendly, and it was great having access to the pool, BBQs, kitchen for cooking our own meals, plus in-suite laundry. We would definitely come back to stay here again (and recommend to friends)!

Many people prefer a firm mattress, I need a softer one. Other than that, the condo was great. We watched the high surf from the condo, saw whales in the distance, walked to dinner in Kona, traded books in the on-site library.

From beginning to end, the rental experience was easy, the app is a great idea and the Condo itself was lovely! Absolutely wonderful location! The only downfall is no air conditioning, perhaps provide a plug in fan for each room including the bathroom. We will definitely stay in the exact condo again and will be telling all our friends! One more point -Please remember to have water turned on as well as the breakers for hot water, that was the only negative point of our entire stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great property on Kona. Clean, efficient with a gorgeous view. Parking was easy, beach chairs were always available and the unit was well-equipped. I'd say this is best suited for a couple versus a family as the living/kitchen are cozy and it'd be tight if you used the pullout couch also. In a pinch it would work but it'd better served for 2 people. Fans in each room provide more than adequate ventilation to keep the place cool without the use of A/C, even during a stay in July. The property manager provided great customer service and I would absolutely stay here again and consider this a great find.

Wonderful view of the sunset every night. Close to downtown Kona! My only complaint is the saltwater pool located next door attracted a lot of pot smokers and noise. Everything else was awesome! Watch your invoice though. We rented through VRBO and was given one price and the rental company gave us a different invoice price. It was still worth it! :)

Reviewer Comments: This was our second time in this building (different unit this time) and we would definitely come back based on the Knutson & Associates top notch customer service. The location was perfect; close to downtown, beaches, and wonderful sunset views. The amenities were great; fully stocked kitchen ( except no dishwasher which we overlooked in the listing) but everything else one can need to make meals. Plenty of linen provided. Plenty of beach gear for snorkeling, beach chairs, umbrellas, and ice chests. Communication with Blake Knutson and his team was a great! They were really responsive to our questions and requests. Thank you Blake and your team for making our vacation a wonderful and amazing memory!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in this beautiful unit, and enjoyed the exquisite views from the deck daily from dawn to sunset. The unit is very well equipped and it was meticulousy cleaned. The living room is tastefully furnished with Hawaiian native art, the shower worked great and the king size bed was comfy. What else do you need? The screen doors needed to be propped up a bit so that they closed properly for the night. Zero bugs in this unit, a huge plus!It was great to deal with Knutson & Associates, the rental company, and Brian, the Kona Isle custodian. The complex is quiet and private and grounds are beautifully maintained. Giving it 5 stars!
