The owners of Unit#210 consistently make changes to ensure the properties physical integrity is upheld with comfortable and brightly colored furniture in the dining and living room along with fans. The dining room has a granite topped peninsula and beautiful lights as well!
The lanai has a small table with 4 chairs and two chaise lounges!

Best vacation ever

We stayed in this beautiful property for a week. It was clean and comfortable. There are many steps to navigate but overall we loved it.

Delightful Stay in Kailua-Kona (South)

Located just South of town. Convenient access off main highway. Top floor, great view. Four-building complex. Large living space including dining and living area. King bedroom and Murphy bed felt like 2nd BR. Overall Clean and well decorated. Attractive outdoor lanai with cooking grill and sink. Completely furnished kitchen and two bathrooms. Also, beach chairs and towels were a great addition. Full laundry was convenient, too.

Spectacular view

This is a great property if you want to be in this area of the big island. View is stunning. We pretty much lived on the lanai. Whale watching and golf course watching. A few minor flaws but overall a great condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well equipped, very clean and reasonably quiet. This condo is on the top floor, which is quite a climb, but the view makes it worth it. Centrally located to Kona and other attractions. The layout worked very well for us, and we really loved having two bathrooms.

Gorgeous Ocean Views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this top floor condo and its large lanai. The stairs are a good reminder to be mindful, to not overpack (there's laundry in the unit), and to be grateful you can still do the stairs! The condo had what we needed to cook our meals, eat them comfortably, and do the dishes. the owners have thoughtfully provided A/C which wasn't necessarily needed every night - but was sure appreciated when needed. Comfortable beds - including the murphy bed with handy screens for making a private space at night. Clean, comfortable and easy to be there. You cannot beat the ocean view. It's so lovely to watch it, and the golfers on the 9th hole of the Kona Country Club teeing off. Friendly, quiet place. Nice pool. Easy to walk down to several beaches and to the boat harbor. There's a fun weekly farmers market with food, crafts and music at the Outrigger down the road. Easy access to shopping, groceries, restaurants, and to golf. We really enjoyed the place. Best View at Keauhou Akahi

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the third unit at Keauhou Akahi that we have stayed in, and it was by far our favourite. Out of the four buildings at Akahi, this building sits further back, giving this particular top floor unit the best view of the entire complex. Yes, there are lots of stairs, but it didn't bother us. It is very tastefully decorated with a blend of modern and traditional Hawaiian décor. It was super clean. It didn’t come with any spices or supplies in the kitchen but was otherwise very well equipped. They supply a roll of toilet paper and some hotel sized toiletries in each bathroom, but if you are staying for any length of time, you will need to bring your own. The management company sent us the odd text to check in on us which was convenient since we had a small issue with the toilet in one of the bathrooms. They promptly sent a repairman over to fix it. The location isn’t in town and about a mile walk to the closest shopping centre. I knew this and personally like the location of this complex, as it is conveniently located between Historic Kailua town, coffee country and the wonderful snorkeling at Honaunau. We will be visiting Kona again next year and will try to book this same condo.

Lovely Keauhou Location!

I simply love this quiet, small condo complex. I’ve stayed in this complex many times. Such a lovely unit with great views. There’s a very private swimming pool, and you’re close to a Wednesday farmers’ market, grocery and drug store. I highly recommend breakfast nearby at the Kona Country Club. Just a perfect location!

Awesome place to stay awhile, Knutson service is excellent.

I stayed for 2 months and really enjoyed it! The location is excellent and the unit is well situated, very private with great views. I loved walking down to the farmers market and Keauhou bay. Knutson staff are all very helpful!

An amazing ocean view and memorable stay!

Reviewer Comments: This condo is a perfect place to stay if you wanted to either venture out and about the island or just stay locally and see the amazing sights. The property description, location, layout was accurate as described. I am particular about cleanliness and this condo was clean and well-maintained. There is so much to see...I would suggest not to over book on expensive adventures, we choice three, one sports fishing day, Big Island Snorkeling and Sailing Adventure were outstanding, ( we saw some whales, too). To my disappointment the Whale watching trip was cancelled but we made up for it with other wonderful experiences. Ho’okena Beach Park excellent snorkeling adventure!! And don’t miss going to Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park (lots of turtles to view). We made it around the whole island over our eight day vacation! Don’t miss out on exploring, north point, Hilo, and the volcanoes! Truly amazing island filled with welcoming islanders. Two negatives... the fellow who cleaned the pool each day woke us up at 7:00 am with his leaf blower ( could he either use a broom or wait until later to start?? The WiFi didn’t connect to the internet. Neither of these negatives would deter our recommendation to stay at this condo. Mahalo!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice older unit. Great view. Top floor with lots of steps which made it difficult for us (seniors) to get our stuff up and down again. Had to pretty much empty suitcase and bring things up piecemeal. Same with our food.NO air conditioning so it was uncomfortably warm even though the days were cloudy.

Excellent location!

Overall, the property was very nice! Knuston and Associates were very responsive to any and all needs that came up! Wonderful location, far enough away from downtown Kona to avoid the traffic and noise but within close driving distance. One downfall was one of the neighbors, an older woman was very rude and went out of her way to try to find issues with anything we did. The temperature can get very warm as well in the afternoon/evenings! Overall, wonderful place, and would highly recommend staying here!

Adorable with Amazing Views

We loved staying at this property. The value of this property was outstanding. Compared to the hotels in town, we paid about half the price for on of the best ocean views in the Keauhou area. As per other reviews, yes, there is road noise from Ali'i from people commuting from South Kona, and yes, it is a top floor unit so you have stairs. If climbing stairs to a top floor unit and road noise are going to bother you, then this amazing little gem may not be for you. However, we loved our little bird nest above the pool. Total privacy on the lanai, and the murphy bed with the privacy screen around it was a great fit for our family of 4 to get a phenomenal condo at a great price. The condo was peaceful as it had mostly local residents and very few vacation rentals. Please be respectful of the permanent residents if you choose to book this unit, tourist life is a lot more busy than local life. This condo is also an older condo than some of the other condos, but for us, that only made its charm even more appealing. We would definitely stay here again.
