This was a great place to stay! The friendly hosts thought of it all; cooler, chairs and towels for the beach, two types of coffee, yummy morning pastries, and recommendations for dining.

We had an amazing stay in Kula! Marsha and John are incredibly kind, considerate, and communicative. This space is perfect and roomy, with a beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset each day. Highly recommend!

Cottage was super clean and the location for us was convenient for the sites we were interested in visiting. Plus we liked exploring the different beaches around the island and not be stuck in one place so we didn’t care that it wasn’t directly on a beach. Loved the king size bed and fully stocked kitchen. We stocked up at Costco after landing and made good use of the kitchen. Having a washer & dryer available was an added bonus.

Marsha & John have a beautiful and cozy B&B. Very well equipped with continental breakfast items each morning and drinks. The beach chairs, ice chest and washer & dryer were appreciated! Fully equipped kitchen was nice to cook a couple meals during my week stay.

Marsha and John have a sweet , welcoming place to stay in upcountry Kula- quiet, spacious and very modern. The walk in shower was such a lovely luxury, the King size bed very comfortable, kitchen had so many amenities, the living room very spacious. We were visiting our daughter who lives only 5 minutes away, so that was a huge drawing card for us. We are thrilled to have found this place and plan to be back time and again. A solid five stars!

G&Z Upcountry is just perfect for our visits to Maui! Marsha has thought of everything to make our stays here outstanding and now that our son has moved nearby, this will always be our first choice. See you next time!

What a great upcountry location! It’s at 3000’, so A/C isn’t needed. Just a perfect location for those that want peace & quiet away from the condos & tourists. John & Marsha were wonderful hosts. On our next trip to Maui we hope this location is available! Mahalo!

Marsha and John were truly wonderful to stay with. They were incredibly accommodating and responsive to anything we needed. In addition the daily pastries were a great touch. In the case of staying on Maui I cannot recommend staying with them enough.

This was the perfect cozy stay in Maui. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful! I loved the fruits & breakfast breads provided. The place has a superb view of Maui and is on Haleakala so great to stay nearby if that’s on your list!

We loved the location which was lush and beautiful and peaceful, and cooler than Kaanapali! The amenities were perfect and we would stay here again anytime :-)

Lovely accommodations for an upcountry stay. Spotlessly clean. The owners thought of everything from the fluffy white towels and bath items to the coffee, fruit and delicious pastries. Wonderful people. Would stay again!!

Kula is a charming town. We enjoyed the cool mornings and evenings. The electric fireplace in the cottage was a wonderful addition to a place that had everything you could need in a short or longer stay. I appreciated the friendliness of the hosts and their desire to make our stay comfortable.
