Rhumb on Inn!

What could be a better way to spend time with family than during a relaxing beach vacation! We are new to the Wells market but are experienced hosts. For reviews of our other property, check out Home Away property # 4699278

Pamper you and your family in this beautiful 4 bedroom home with stunning ocean views. Steps away from the ocean and right on the Rachel Carson estuary, you are right in the middle of all the vacation activities while still having your own piece of solitude to unwind on your vacation.

Windows abound on the second floor main living area, you will have spectacular views while preparing your lobster dinner in the gourmet kitchen or sitting down in the dining room to enjoy it. In house chef dinner is also available upon request (availability dependent) Head to the living room with beautiful cathedral ceilings and more than 180 degree views of the marsh and Atlantic.

Four bedrooms will comfortably sleep 12 people - enough for two families to create and share a annual experience for years to come. The first floor has a master suite with king bed as well as a nicely appointed queen bedroom. There is also an awesome children's bedroom that has a double/twin bunk configuration with a trundle.

Good location near Wells Beach. This was a perfect setting for extended family to all get together and enjoy Maine seaside. A large clean house with great bed and bath set up for the whole family. Great views of the surrounding marsh and front balcony that was pleasant to drink early morning coffee in peace watching the ocean.

We had a wonderful trip to Wells. The property is in a great location and had everything that we needed for a terrific Maine vacation. Rooms were all very nice and we enjoyed the views (particularly the stunning sunsets over the marsh). We walked to the beach and to the local lobster pound and enjoyed every minute of the trip. We will definitely look to stay again. Hosts were great about communicating and couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating.

A very comfortable house, with plenty of space for our multigenerational family trip (ages 3 months to 1,002 months). We loved the well-equipped kitchen, the view from the second story porch, that there was plenty of seating in the living room and around the dining table, the back patio and fire pit, and the warm water in the outdoor shower. It's an easy .4 mile walk to Crescent Beach (best not at high tide when the water reaches the sea wall); a little farther to Wells Beach. We'd drop off those who needed a ride to the beach, park at the house and walk back, and that worked well. Bird watching and sunsets across the marsh were great!

Perfect week in Wells!

We had the best time at the Rhumb on Inn! It was the perfect spot for our family vacation. Close walk to the beach and Wells Beach Lobster Pound, perfect place for morning walks and runs, and such beautiful views from the house!

Great beach access

The property was spacious and less than a 10 minute walk to beach access. We had 7-10 people staying on any given night and there was plenty of space. Plenty of storage, options to cook and rooms to stay in. Second floor deck with a view of the marsh and the ocean were amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The location was unbeatable—just a short walk from the ocean with stunning views from the porch. The house was clean, well-stocked, and comfortably furnished, making it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. This was fun getaway with friends and family....we loved it!!

View was lovely, beautiful property. Instructions for leaving the property should made obvious, be clearer or posted in the kitchen or in the entryway.

Thank you for staying with us Noelle. We are sorry that the instructions were not as clear as you would like. We will look into conspicuously posting them on a wall. This would be in addition sending them via email, in our digital information book that was provided via a link in our welcome email AND large QR code posted in the main living room. As a backup, we also listed the information in the large physical guest information book that was left open on the coffee table. Our assumption that you likely half read the instructions because you and your friends "half followed" what was asked of you including parking all over the lawn, putting some of the trash in the outside bins but leaving all the empty alcohol bottles in the house, closing some of the doors, and deciding when you thought it appropriate to smoke in the house. While we appreciate your suggestion to make the instructions more obvious it is not clear from your behavior that providing a 5th option would be any more effective.

This property was absolutely stunning and an incredible location. You are a stones throw from the beach and a short drive from ogunquit. The hosts were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and communicative with anything. I would absolutely think of staying here again, the house was perfect.

Gorgeous views!

This home has amazing views of Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge. Super quiet, you can watch the sunrise on the front deck, and the sunset on the back patio. Close to Ogunquit beaches. Highly recommend!

Great beach house

Great house in walking distance to the beach. The house was very clean, AC works great on hot days, and the upstairs porch is great. Owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Overall, we had a great time!

Girls weekend!

Friend reunion

We stayed here for an annual reunion of dear friends. The house is lovely, and the views across the bird sanctuary are spectacular. We walked to Wells Beach from the house- about a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed lounging together in the living room and enjoying the view.

Amazing place!

We loved staying at this house—the description of the house was spot on. Location is great. Plenty of space and beds. Well stocked. Clean, convenient to a lot, and great value. It was an amazing place for a group of friends on our weekend trip. Would highly recommend to anyone.
