Christmas holidays by the river

A lovely and cozy place. Great for a family vacation. Easy access to the river, downtown, beach, and wineries.

Perfect group getaway

Beautiful riverfront home, comfortable for a group of 7. The well stocked kitchen was a god send. Conveniently located to town, though we mostly stayed in.

Possibly one of the best VRBO properties I have experienced. It was clean and comfortable. Extremelywell appointed and the river was right there as stated. Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. There were eight of us and some did use the Kayaks and explore the river more. Watched the birds others on the river. Sat on the deck and had wine and cheese and stuff. So great.

Charming River House Stay

We loved the house and the quick access to the river, which was the highlight of our stay. The boys (ages 11-13) spent most of their time on the kayaks and rafts floating in the river and fishing. It was a perfect retreat and we would be delighted to stay again.

Lovely property by the river

We loved the space, decor and especially the deck right by the calming river. The house has all you need in terms of amenities and was comfortable for a group of 8. Particularly enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the river.

Thanksgiving on the River

Had a great time. The house was beautiful and Rustic. Had all the things one needs to be comfortable. Well equipped kitchen.

Wonderful Stay

Loved the location and the dock! We are also grateful for the AC during the heatwave. The house is rustic but comfortable and had plenty of room to spread around. The stairs are indeed steep so be careful with young children! If I had to complain - it would be the quality of the sheets. They were all polyester and not good quality. Upgrade to cotton sheets would be a big upgrade! But everything else was great!

“Heaven on Earth in God’s Country!”My family of 8 came to this Amazing home for a little R&R breakaway from the city life and busy hustle and bustle.We had no idea just how Wonderful our Weekend was about to become. We had so many great moments sharing a picnic on the dock, fishing early morning and at sunset, kayaking, playing cards on the Beautiful deck over looking the river and watching movies while enjoying some of the best food we could create!It was absolutely serene, peaceful and zen fulfilling for all of us!And now, we have these incredible memories of the moments we shared at this majestic home.I highly recommend your stay here.You won’t regret it!Cynthia and Bill are wonderful hosts and try to make your stay as incredible as ours was.We’ll be back and looking forward to it!Enjoy!

Lovely home. Welcoming, helpful owners.

Perfect house, right on the river. Great for a family vacation. The owners are very responsive and welcoming. The house is well equipped. One of our favorite vacations. Hope to come back next year!!

Great location, walkable to downtown and a great water view.

Great place to stay. Very spacious and a great kitchen an deck. We love both relaxing in the water and walking to downtown.
