This condo is managed by PMI Maui, a local Real Estate Brokerage that specializes in vacation rentals. We are located within a mile of the resort and available 24/7 to our guests. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel prior to the balance being due (30 days prior to arrival), nothing further for the reservation would be processed and you would only forfeit the deposit. If you cancel after paying in full, we will refund you for any nights that we are able to rebook, minus the $400.00 deposit. If we were to close to tourism, you would be fully credited the amount that you have paid towards a future booking and the balance would not be processed. Travel Insurance is available and strongly encouraged.

Wonderful place to stay for families

I would definitely stay in this unit again. The two bedroom unit was ideal for our family of 4 and had everything we needed to be very comfortable and entertained for our stay. The ground floor entry was so nice and close to the pool and made for an easy access to green space for the kids to run around. The grounds at this complex are really well taken care of and nice to look out at and enjoy a coffee in the morning r a drink later in the day! The only small thing to note is that this unit has two showers and no tub for kids. Otherwise, there was a wagon, toys, chairs boogie boards, towels and more!

Great condo in a perfect location

Loved all the beach stuff—sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, and a wagon to cart it all down to the beach. The unit is well equipped in the kitchen and provided everything we needed for our week long stay. Close to the pool and a big grassy area right out the lanai for the kids to run around. There was some construction happening in our building but the property manager notified us ahead of time and offered us a different unit or a discount. I really appreciated how up front they were about it.

Excellent 2-bedroom in Kamaole Sands

Nicely modernized, furnished, and equipped 2 bedroom ground-floor unit. Having AC in the main area and both bedrooms is a real bonus. Never had a bad stay at Kamaole Sands!

Great condo

This was our 4th time at Kamaole Sands so we knew what to expect. Ground floor unit is great and spacious. I cooked all our meals and was pleasantly surprised to find sharp knives and pretty much everything I needed there. Had an issue with the microwave and property manager was very responsive, all is good. Lots of towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. We'd rent this unit again as we appreciate the layout including the second bedroom with two twin beds. Thanks!

Another wonderful stay at Kam Sands!

Third time at Kam Sands! Nice clean unit, love building 5 and ground floor is a must! Great beach gear in unit. Clean floors, nice clean bath and beach towels. Clean bed linens! Kitchen needed a little TLC, purchased a new cheap coffee maker after day one, mildew and crusty…normal for the volume these units see…but grossed us out a little. Everything was great! Love Maui!!!!

Excellent place! CLEAN

My family had an amazing stay at this beautiful condo. First impression was how clean it was! Then how nicely updated and decorated it was. We felt "at home" immediately. Towels were luxurious and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and then some! There is a closet full of beach gear. Anything you would need for a family beach day. Loved the sweet welcome gift left on the table when we arrived. This is the first condo we have ever said would get our repeat business. Matt was very accommodating and helpful. My family had a lovely, memorable stay. It was truly the perfect place. And did I mention how clean!!?!

Stunning 1st floor condo in gorgeous Kihei

This condo is exactly as pictured! Such a beautiful condo! We absolutely loved our time at this property and did not want to leave! It has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation, minus snorkels, which we picked up at Walmart. Beach chairs, towels, pool noodles (and the good thick ones from Costco!) This condo is a beautiful walk out right behind the pool area. The grounds of the complex were stunning! And it’s a 2 min walk across the street from the beach. Perfect area of south Kihei- walking distance to shops, restaurants, and close to kalama village shopping area. We highly recommend Ulua beach- we saw whales from shore, tons of sea turtles all 3 times we went, and it has a great snorkeling reef off shore. Overall, we hated to leave. I’d only want to stay at this condo complex when we come back again- it’s gorgeous and the pool area is so large and accommodating for lots of people. Nothing but great things to say about it!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is a really good location. Right next to the pool and I love the ground floor patio. I’ve stayed in other units at this resort. I liked this location of this unit best, but liked the cleanliness of some other units more. The only downsides of this unit are fixable problems. There were lots of fruit flies and we killed 3 cockroaches. The couch could use a steam clean too. But again, overall good. Loved the well stocked beach supplies and I found left over aloe and laundry detergent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy check in and out. Good location for walk to the pool. Given a ground floor unit there are no idyllic sunset views but we preferred the extra space off the deck of a ground unit. Unit had lots of cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc but could have benefitted from another set of plates, bowls, cutlery. We just ran the dishwasher at half loads to maintain a clean supply (4 people). A big thank you to housekeeping and the property manager/owner for allowing partial bottles of condiments and spices to be left behind. Many units throw them out at a given guest's departure when they are fine for the next guest to use. Also appreciative of the toys, beach supplies, and ample supply of dishwasher soap, laundry soap, garbage bags. Overall facilities great yet the pool and family (kids) hot tub could be warmer. I found that kids would get a bit cold in the pool then go to the family hot tub (intentionally at a lower temp for safety) to use as a pool as it was more of a warm pool temp versus a cooler hot tub. Adult hot tub (reg temp) was perfect however. Finally, for this price point I would suggest that calls to the Mainland (incl Canada) are included in the landline.Overall a good unit owned by a good owner that doesn't cut corners managed professionally by PMI. Definitely would stay in this unit and at Kamaoele Sands again.

Great location and property well kept

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is convenient and central with access to beaches across the street. The unit 5-112 was not cleaned very well and kitchen utensils and cooking ware was a bit hodge podge. None of the beach equipment was cleaned. The air conditioners were so loud. With small children, there is no tub so we bought a small baby tub but would be nice to have a hand held option from the showers. Bring on the ground floor and close to the pool was a good feature.

We love this spot right across from Kam 3. The kids loved the proximity to the pool and the ease of walking out the back via lanai to get there so quickly.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our fourth stay at Kamaole Sands and as expected the location and complex amenities were as expected. Unfortunately the suite we chose for this stay was not up to the standards we had previously enjoyed. The unit itself has been updated to a limited degree. The appliances, air conditioner and some of the furnishings are dated. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was the smell of mildew from the washing machine. It took four days and bleach to get the smell to an acceptable level. The refrigerator door does not close properly, the air conditioner in the living area is old, noisy and effective to a limited degree. The blinds on the front sliding door no longer work and will not stay in an open position. The dining table had a broken leg, which had been repaired, but you still could not place anything of weight, such as a bag of groceries on the table. The bathroom updates are well done. Cleaning underneath the vanity in the en-suite is necessary. Our extended family was staying in another suite at the same complex and their suite was by far superior to this one.

We absolutely love the Kamaole Sands property and stay here each year. This was our first time renting this condo and we couldn’t be happier. It had everything you could need, a beautiful view, close proximity to the pool but the lanai was set back a bit making it nice and private. We will definitely stay here again. Condo was well equipped and perfectly clean. We always trust Matt with PMI Maui with our vacation rentals!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this condo for two weeks in April 2022, and found it to be a great size and very comfortable for two couples. It was a short walk across the Kamaole Sands lovely property to the Kamaole III beach. The location at the back of the condo complex meant that it was very quiet as we didn’t get the traffic noise from Kihei road at all. The kitchen was very well equipped - probably the best equipped of any condo we have every stayed in, anywhere. The first week we were there we spotted whales from our lanai, and every evening we enjoyed the spectacular Maui sunsets.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our condo! Great location, walkable to multiple nice beaches, shops, and restaurants. Condo community was safe, clean, and beautiful. 1st floor location was ideal for us with smaller kids (did not want a loft or balcony), our lanai opened onto a grassy area where they could run and play and was just steps to the pool, which was secured with a safety gate and code. The unit itself was well maintained and had everything we needed. The hosts very thoughtfully set up the booster and pack and play for our toddler so we didn’t have to worry about that after our long flight. Tons of useful and practical amenities like a beach wagon, beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, and more. Kitchen had everything we needed. Washer and dryer were modern and awesome. Lots of ceiling fans and a/c units so we could choose to keep our rooms cool on sticky warm days or open the doors and windows for a lovely cross breeze. PMI was very responsive to every question! Can’t wait to stay again sometime at Kamaole Sands and with PMI!
