240 Windsor Ave is located just a few blocks walking distance to the beautiful Cape May ocean beaches, Washington Street Mall and many fine restaurants. Centrally located in the heart of the historic district of Cape May.

This lower level 2 bedroom 1 bath has a large eat in kitchen, Full bath with stand-up shower, living room with a wall mounted smart TV, and laundry room with full size washer and dryer. In the backyard you will find an outdoor shower, grill, and paver patio with table, seating for 6. The primary bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a full size bed, and the sofa bed is a full size. (Sheets and pillow cases are not provided)

Relax on the screened in front porch while reading a book, surfing the internet or enjoying your favorite beverage. Enjoy the historical ambiance watching horse-drawn carriages down Windsor Ave.

This property was great, and true to the description! The walk to the beach was easy with 2 children, ages 9 and 12. The home was clean and was the best stocked place with paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and dish soap, which is rare in the area. The parking was a bit tricky, but I always found spots within a block away. I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was great an in a wonderful location! My husband loved the outside shower! The property owner, Nick, was very communicative and easy! Overall, we would recommend thismproperty!

The cleanliness of the home was terrible. It smelled like cat pee in the kitchen, which had been covered up when we first arrived with either a bleach or ammonia smell that I had to go out and try to cover it up with candles, which did not work, the 2nd night we were there sleeping we were woken up with a skunk smell. We went out into the yard and walking down the pathway in front of the bedrooms where we were sleeping, it smelled horrendous. The hallway to the living room felt like the floor was going to give out under your feet. The living room had a stale damp smell hard to describe. There was hair in the shower, one roll of toilet paper about a quarter of a cup of laundry detergent to clean towels that are supposed to be cleaned when you leave, all the towels were left in the dryer for us when we arrived. The host was responsive when I asked a question about what we have to bring, but not really telling us everything. The kitchen chairs were sticky like they had just been painted or maybe because of the dampness , they were broken. There was marks on the wall from the paint from the chairs. Most blinds in the house couldn’t open because they were broken ,the front porch, dirty and uninviting, it would’ve been nice to have somewhere to sit. Parking is horrendous. There’s nowhere to park. We had to park and leave our car around the corner for 5 days. The only upside is most things can be walked to which is fine. We did wind up taking a Lyft to a cruise we had booked.

Thank you for your feedback. I disagree with several descriptions of the apartment’s cleanliness and condition. We have worked with the same highly regarded Cape May cleaner for nine years, and pets have never been allowed in the apartment. I take the reported odors and maintenance concerns seriously and will look into them. Extra toiletries, toilet paper, and laundry detergent were available in the hallway closet. I wish you had messaged me during your stay, as I would have gladly directed you to them and helped address your concerns.

Great cozy home in a tree lined quiet neighborhood. Easy to drive around town once you get the lay of the land, but also quite walkable. A short walk puts you at the beach and many shops and places to eat. Another stroll puts you at the Washington Mall pedestrian only shopping area. A 5 minute drive and you are at Sunset Beach! Great place!

Great Cape May Stay!

Really enjoyed our stay at this Cape May property - location was perfect and so were the accommodations. Hosts are wonderful. Will book again for next year.

Enjoyed our stay. Take note there aren’t sheets and those need to be rented, but this seems to be a norm in the area. Living room door situation is odd and if there weren’t kids upstairs when we were there it may have felt uncomfortable but overall enjoyed our stay.

Seaside Apartment

There was a lot going on with all the other rental units and neighbors but everyone was so nice and made us feel welcomed! This place is exactly what it states, shared porch and two bedrooms. We loved walking to the beach and enjoying cape May!

Perfect porch for a relaxing stay.

Weather wasn’t great, but this house sure was. Plenty of room to spread out. A well stocked kitchen with all the gadgetry needed for meal prep. And the porch was the perfect spot to rest when Mother Nature kept us off the beach.

Perfect location

Nice 1st floor 2 bedroom unit close to everything. Full kitchen, laundry, outdoor hot water shower, 4 beach passes. Street parking is not bad even on weekends in hot season. Very good experience overall.

Location location

This offers a wonderful location for easy access to the beach, the promenade, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, the Cape May light house and a gem of a museum- The Harriet Tubman museum! We enjoyed lovely walks daily too. Thank you.

Nice weekend stay

The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you need, except for pillow cases and sheets, so don't forget these. It is located in a very nice residential area, walking/biking distance to the beach, restaurants and cafés. We enjoyed seating on a nice porch in the evenings. Overall a great place in West Cape May neighborhood with its local vibes!

Inside the property was great. As advertised and clean. Outside the property was confusing as the owner had personal items in the area advertised as being part of the rental. Such as the grill, table and beach chairs, which as confusing on what we could use. Nick was very responsive.
