From the moment that you arrive you will be swept away by the views this house offers. Perfect for a family, or friends traveling together this house is your home away from home. It is expertly decorated to allow you and your family to relax and enjoy the sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. The private 60 foot dock will allow you to explore the ocean as you please. The area is great for fishing, snorkling, paddle boarding, and kayaking. When you are not busy exploring the ocean you can relax in the private pool. Marathon is just a short 50 mile drive from the heart of Key West.

The 2 Bedroom 2 and 1/2 bathroom house is fully furnished. Both bedrooms offer king sized beds, dressers, and nightstands to store all of your belongings. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of your cooking and dinning needs. A large island offers extra seating along with the large dinning room table. The living room offers a queen sized sofa bed to accommodate up to two more guests. The 60 ft. dock attached to the back of the house allows boaters to bring in and store your boats while you enjoy the house.

This is a sister house to the house next door, Listing #1034656. The difference in the two is that the #1034656 listing is located on a double lot, has twice the dockage and is a 2bed/2bath.

Great house!

Really nice house. Updated and comfortable. Refreshing pool. Well supplied house and kitchen. The only issue was that the access channel is shallow, but it worked for our 25 foot boat. You just need to stay on plane until you get through it. The channel is front of the house is deep and clean. We will stay here again for sure.

Amazing paradise!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Great quiet yet convenient location, comfy beds, cold AC, the owner was super friendly and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and most importantly COFFEE! Beach towels and beach chairs on hand were a plus. The kids loved swimming pool, as did I. We saw manatees and various fish in the canal. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property! Can't say enough about it. Just like the pictures. Lots of extras....laundry soap, beach chairs, small cooler, beach towels, plenty of bath towels, every kitchen utensil, even spices. On demand hot water, large permanent umbrella above the table near the pool (different than the pictures) Home is in excellent condition. We plan to return.

What a special place. We had the most wonderful, memorable stay and can't wait to go back. Truly a home away from home. The views on the front and back of the house are so beautiful. Walking into the home, it was incredibly clean and open. The beds were large and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need. The best part of the home is the accessibility to water. My husband and sons were able to walk out the front door and fish the Atlantic just a few steps away. Then, they'd go to the back of the house to fish the canal and take dips in the pool in between. We caught many Mangrove Snapper in the canal and enjoyed the visits from the neighborhood manatee. We were entertained at all times! Lastly, communication with the owners was great. They were incredibly nice to speak with, receptive and accommodating. We look forward to staying in their beautiful home again one day soon!

Beautiful view!

This was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our time! Everything about the property was amazing! We love laying by the pool and fishing from the dock. It is a place we could see ourselves coming back to!

Absolutely Perfect

We loved our stay. The house was setup perfectly for two couples. We enjoyed watching both the sunrises and sunsets. Even had a dolphin swim up in the channel. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Excellent!

This property is beautiful and spotless clean. It's close to all kinds of good stuff; Restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations. The pool was great. And it was short drives to both Key West and Key Largo. We would stay here again.

Great stay for the family

Loved staying in the house. The pool and the canal were great. Marathon is a great town. Caught a bunch of grunts and snappers in the canal. The home was very comfortable during a record heatwave!

Great location central in Marathon and all the keys. Amenities are spot on had a great visit with no worries no problems. Pool was the icing on the cake. Great host for communication . Highly recommend.

Great place to spend Christmas!

We stayed Dec. 21-26 and it was wonderful! The pool was very refreshing on hot days. Its location is not far from everything you’d need like grocery stores and places to eat. Central location was nice to explore as much of the keys as possible. Fun to watch and pet the manatee that was out in the canal when we arrived and to watch the fish attack the green light across the canal each night. It was a great family Christmas Vacation!

Spectacular views of the ocean. This home was well appointed and comfortable for our family. The canal behind the house was full of fish and wildlife. Anyone looking for a relaxing keys experience, this spot delivers. Steve is a great host and is a very communicative host. Our family is looking forward to returning to this home.

Perfection.

Everything about this home Is perfect. Great location. Fully stocked, beautiful views, Comfy Large beds, Updated , tastefully decorated, open living spaces, and a COLD COLD AC! Plenty of parking especially if your bringing a boat and trailer, kids enjoyed the Pool and fishing off dock, caught tarpon and Snappers behind home. Perfect central location in the Keys! Would rent again for sure.

Marathon Paradise

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners are very responsive and go over and above to make your stay as relaxing as possible. House is fully loaded with all the amenities needed. Just bring a bathing suit and boat! Views are spectacular. Sunrise in the front, sunset in the back. Can’t wait for our next visit and haven’t even made it home yet.

We will be back!

We had an amazing stay in Marathon, FL! The location was perfect for our boat and offered easy access to both offshore and inshore fishing spots. The accommodations were spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved cooking meals every day, especially the fish we caught. We also enjoyed playing multiple games of Uno that was provided there. The pool was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day in the sun or just to relax. The community was friendly, and we met some great people both in the area and on the canal. One of the highlights was seeing the manatees by the dock in the mornings and evenings—a mom and her baby who enjoyed drinking fresh water from the hose. I wish I could attach pictures to show those precious moments! We made wonderful memories and, although we visit a couple times a year, this was our first time at this home, and we've decided that we'll definitely be choosing this place again! The owners are incredibly nice people too! Highly recommend! -From Ruskin, FL

Perfect location, spotlessly clean, and fabulous views!

We've stayed in many VRBO rentals at this point and this house is easily one of our top 3 of all time. When we walked in, we noticed right away that it was immaculately clean. When I say immaculate, I mean that you could smell the cleanliness in the air. Crisp sheets and bedding, gleaming surfaces. Perfection. My son loves to fish, so being right on the ocean AND the canal was a huge plus. Views all around. Surrounded by wildlife and beauty. Birds constantly flying by, manatees regularly swimming in the canal out back. Paradise. Pool was a nice temperature in April and was sparkling and refreshing after a day exploring the area. Being on Marathon is great if you want to do day trips to anywhere else on the keys. We went to Key West, Big Pine Key, and Islamorada during our stay, and the drive to all of those places is very manageable. The house is right down the road from Publix and many great restaurants. Also right down the road from Sombrero Beach. Anything that you could possibly want or need is within a 10 minute drive. If I had to pick one negative, it was that the front door is a little tricky to lock and unlock. We got used to it by the end of the trip thankfully. All in all SUCH a great trip. Felt very safe in the neighborhood and would definitely stay here again!
