We had a great time at this house! The location is great with easy access to the beach. The house was clean and already stocked with paper products, towels, ice, trash bags, etc. We would love to stay again!

Enjoyed our stay at the beach house. Had everything we needed plus more. Very convenient spot. Who could ever complain being across the street from the beautiful beach and Thomas Donut shop?? Hope to return soon.

Convenient Beach Cottage

You can't pick a better location for a family. The house does need some updates but that would also add to the rental price so no complaints from us. Easy walk to the beach with some gulf view. The food next door was great and the grocery store nearby was nice. Excellent fast communication from the host.

Cozy stay and walk to the beach

Cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with laundry, full kitchen, and sofa sleepers available. Wrap around deck to grill and sit and watch the sunset. Walk across the street to the beach... or to Thomas's Donuts. Some beach toys and towels available. Outside shower to wash sand off is very handy!

Exceptional Location, Great Place

This property is perfect for a family going to the beach. I timed it, and at regular walking pace, a person can leave the front door and have their feet in the water in less than two and half minutes. If you've stayed in this area before, you may know that the entrances to the beach on the dunes can be a little steep. The one in front of this property is quite mild and great if you may have elderly family or someone who has trouble with hills. The place itself pretty much speaks for itself in the listing. It has all the conveniences one could ask for while on vacation. Mary was very friendly in all of her communications with us, and she was even kind enough to let us check in a little early. Great stay!

Host cancelled days before our arrival

I'm not able to review the house because the Host cancelled days before our arrival date "due to double booking." Almost ruined our trip, but thanks to VRBO we were able to rent another property in PCB and had a wonderful vacation. If you rent this 1, have a backup plan! Paying in full, at the time of booking, weeks in advance, DOES NOT guarantee anything.

Unclean

We arrive 90 minutes before check in. We planned to have lunch at thomas donuts till 4. However from the porch it appeared Someone was still there. I spoke to Mary several times and she promised to send someone over asap. We gave up and cleaned ourself. We did not clean up the porch as it was left by her daughter who she said was the last occupant . This is a text I sent to Mary after our visit but she never responded. Hi Mary, I wanted to reach out to you about some issues I had with the rental last week before I leave a review on VRBO. I tried to mention some of these things briefly when you arrived at the house the day we were checking out, but there wasn’t really time. When we arrived around 2:30 pm on 7/9/22, I know we were still 90 minutes early for check-in, but based on the way we found the house, there was no way it could have been properly cleaned by the 4pm check in time. We found all 3 entrance doors unlocked. Your listing details the policy you have regarding cleaning practices, however none of that was followed. When we entered the house, we found: -sand all over both couches -A bed sheet laying in the living room floor -the kitchen table was dirty and had crumbs on it -the stove and counter tops were dirty and had crumbs all over -the left side of the kitchen sink was completely full of dirty dishes, including bowls with milk and cereal still in them. This included every single dinner plates and serving players and cereal bowls. The dishwasher was empty so no effort was made to get the dishwasher started. -one bedroom had the bed unmade, but not stripped. -The bathroom with just a shower had 2 dirty towels hanging on the back of the door and a used wash cloth in the shower on the floor. -the back bathroom had a used wash cloth in the tub. -there were beach towels, chairs and floats left thrown on the porch. We swept all the floors and got some cleaning products at the Dollar General to clean the toilets and tub/showers. Both kitchen trash cans we’re running over along with the trash in the front bathroom. We offered to just clean up ourselves if you’d refund our cleaning fee, but you said you’d send someone right away to take care of it all. He came and changed the sheets in the bedroom, took the dirty sheets and some towels with him and left. Did not leave any clean towels or clean up any other part of the house. We all ended up using the beach towels we brought with us to take showers.

Close to beach

It was so close you could sit on deck and see ocean. You couldn't hear the waves but the sunset was spectacular!!

Beach trip!

House could have definitely been cleaned better, however over all it was a great stay. Host was quick to respond to us! This is our second time renting this home and we will continue to come back! Location is FABULOUS!

We had to deep clean the property, which took 4 people a total of 1-2 hours. Otherwise, great stay.

It took a couple of hours to clean the property. There was an abundance of dog hair throughout the home, dirty floors, and cupboards. After cleaning the property, the stay was perfect. I did retrieve photos of the unexpected cleaning, as I was charged usual cleaning fee.

Great place to stay!

Stayed here for spring break and it was perfect! There are some beach chairs and umbrellas at the property so we didn’t have to bring our own. Right across the street from the beach which was never really busy so we always had a spot. Great food at the place next door! This is the perfect spot if you want to be close to PCB but not in it.

Wonderful Get Away

A very nice place to stay, the location is perfect because everything you need is close by so we barely had to drive anywhere. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed.

Best Beach

This house is great for beach lovers ! 80 feet and you're on a the best beach in the area ! The house was great, everything you need is there, shopping and restaurants are close. Don't forget it's next to Thomas Donuts, a great place for donuts, lunch, dinner, and ice cream.

Great place to stay for younger people who want to be away from crazy crowds

We loved staying at Mary's! It was very spacious and had enough room for 6 young adults. Mary and paradise properties worked with us with anything we needed and were very accommodating. It has everything we needed and we will definitely be back! The only suggestion would be curtains on the windows in the bedrooms because headlights and Thomas donuts lights shined in at night.
