Perfect place for boating and fishing. Sweet little Dock/beach area for swimming. Not far from the dunes and the big lake beeches.

We really enjoyed our stay at this clean and cozy place right next to the shoreline.Even though we’re coming from out west and taking a trip with my brother from Southern Michigan, we would look forward to an opportunity to come again.Just be aware of that there is no washer and dryer and hence you have to bring your own bedding and towels, which we didn’t realize when we first booked. Thank you, Jack and Sue for a wonderful place that gave us time to enjoy the beautiful northern Michigan beauty. Are you seeing cooperation from t.

As found in our website, sheets and towels are not provided. The latter helps us in keeping prices lower.

My family and our Labrador Retriever had a perfect week at this rustic cozy and comfortable cottage. We enjoyed the dock and beautiful lake views. Crystal is a Great Lake for swimming. While I heard from neighbors of cottage warning of possibility of swimmers itch we thankfully did not experience this and enjoyed daily swimming. Close proximity to The Betsie trail was ideal for biking and jogging, and a highlight of the trip. And being walking distance to shopping and restaurants made it a perfect location for us. Future renters should know that the shower is very small and challenging for a girl to shave her legs! Finally, the owners were very responsive to questions. Would happily return and wholeheartedly recommend!

My wife and I are very grateful for the lovely review and the way you described your stay and the views from the dock, etc. Although the shower area is not overly spacious, the total remodel of it last winter so improved everything about it except I knew it would be cramped for shaving legs!! My wife didn’t think it would matter as she felt most women liked the rustic feel of the cottage and would probably not even think of shaving their legs!! I cautioned her not to be so sure!!! Seriously, thanks for your honesty and we loved your review!! Thanks for being so understanding when you could not find a blender and picking one up to fill the void!!

Very cozy cottage with great location! Comfy beds, clean and well equipped. Beautiful dock area and beach with chairs. So nice to be able to bring our little dog.

The property was perfect for our stay. We loved being so close to the beach and just a short bike ride from town, and the house had a cozy up-north feel. We hope to be back next year!

Extended weekend on Crystal Lake

We had a wonderful time staying at Casa De Lago. It was clean, easy to find, and well-equipped for our weekend away—the perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

Our family loved the cottage so much we booked next year. It’s Charming and comfortable with lovely views of the lake. Very family friendly! So kind of them to share this great place!

Beautiful home across from Crystal Lake

This stay at this home was phenomenal! Location is perfect. Bonfires by the lake, breakfast on the picnic table, biking right outside our door, close to everything. Can’t say enough Was wonderful!!!

September is perfect

Loved the property and really appreciated that we could bring our dog. It was great being on the Betsie Trail. Hope to visit again soon.
