The place was incredibly clean and comfortable. I loved the artwork on the walls and the close proximity to Lancing and West Jefferson. We had a wonderful stay.

Sweet cabin, quiet and very private but still just a short drive to town. Dogs enjoyed walking the property and exploring at the creek( while on a leash of course)Vanessa and Marilyn were extremely helpful and easy to reach

Very beautiful little cabin. Loved how cozy it was. Extremely beautiful property. Felt like I was visiting a grandparents house. Quite the hidden gem. Nearby West Jefferson is my favorite town in all of North Carolina as well!

We had a wonderful stay! It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing trip. The space was welcoming and had everything we needed. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others. We would happily stay here again!

Beautiful cabin and grounds. The deck was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was so homely. It felt like you were visiting family. Thank you for sharing part of your family history throughout the house. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. I also loved watching the butterflies visiting the butterfly bush.

Loved the cabin.Well stocked and comfortable! Loved the deck- my beagle especially enjoyed it.West Jefferson is one of my favorite places in our NC mountains. I will rent again.

Maybe if I was a pet owner that lived with my pets in the house it wouldn’t have been so bad. The animal odor, pet hair on my socks , put a blanket on furniture before sitting on it and we both felt itchy after leaving. Liked the location and sitting outside

Very quite escape. Close to nature activities and not too far to Jefferson. Owner should be made aware there are a family of five groundhogs living under the house. I hate to see them exterminated, maybe they could be relocated elsewhere on the property.

Perfect little cottage for a romantic getaway or a small family. Pet friendly. Everything was clean and stocked with the necessities. The check in and out was easy. The host was available to answer questions. The description of the home was accurate. Secluded but close enough to town for shopping and food. As former Grassy Creek residents, it was only 15 minutes from my mom's house and my Granny's at the other end of Old Hwy 16. Definitely family friendly. We even met a sneaky little snake on the porch hidden between the chairs. Highly recommend this little getaway house.

Beautiful secluded spot

Had the most wonderful time, everything was super clean and we really enjoyed the history throughout the house. The most perfect secluded spot to bring your pups, ours had a blast. We definitely recommend!

We loved our trip here! It was very peaceful and relaxing. We woke one morning to a deer wandering through the yard, which is beautiful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck

Awesome property

This place is a little slice of heaven. We loved how quiet the property is and our dogs loved it. The hosts were very kind and helpful during our stay. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect distance from town. Close enough for shopping, restaurants and points of interests. Super peaceful and no light pollution.Beds were too firm for our liking, but the rest of the house had everything we needed.
