We have stayed at three different condos in Coligny Villas, and this was our favorite! It was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for our family of four to have a wonderful vacation.

The unit itself had appealing pictures, but updates appeared to be more like bandaids over much bigger problems. There were numerous maintenance, cleanliness, & safety concerns during our stay.The shower door did not close properly & leaked water all over bathroom floor, broken glass frame, broken bed slats, a loose exterior door handle & an exterior door did not close properly (safety concern). The front door had duct tape on it, there was no way to lock the exterior door leading to the pool, meaning it remained unlocked when away. A neighbor’s camera appeared to point directly into master bedroom, which is very concerning from a privacy standpoint. Owner required damage insurance yet damage throughout.There is significant water damage on the ceiling, along w/ visible mold on master bath ceiling. Floors are very uneven upstairs. We had no working dryer for 2.5 days & no water for more than 8 hours during stay. Requested towels, but delivered to wrong unit. No communication unless I initiated.The unit appeared surface cleaned but needed deep cleaning. Despite paying housekeeping fee, we were expected to wash all towels, sweep & vacuum before leaving, which left us wondering what cleaning fee covers.The property advertised as having a hot tub, but no hot tub. The beach was longer walk than listing advertised (solid 10 minutes).The pictures were nice, but the actual condition & experience did not match the expectations set by the listing. Would not stay here again.

Kelli I'm sorry your expectations were not met. Property is consistently a 5-star rated property - with remodeled btsh in 12/2026 - unfortunately somethng may arise over the busy summer months which are addressed as soon as brought to my attention.

Great location

Great communication with property owner. Everything you need including beach towels, chairs, pushcart, umbrellas. 10 minute walk to beach, steps from pool, 5 minute walk to Piggly Wiggly market, restaurants & shops at Coligny plaza.

Amazing stay

We have stayed in this complex before, and this was probably our favourite unit. It was nice and clean and everything was in great shape. The BBQ worked well and all the appliances worked great. AC was nice and cold and we were always comfortable. Wifi was fast and TV had plenty to watch. Would stay here again for sure!

Great Location

You can't find a better location. Owner and property manager easy to contact and quick to respond. The space in the condo is very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. Even though this condo is in the heart of all the action, it was quiet. This villa could use some updating and/or a deep cleaning. We would rent this unit again. Had a fabulous time.

Great location

This is a great location. Nice decor and great televisions. Great air conditioning. A couple of things we didn’t notice/realize is the Master does not have a king bed. Investment in some more full pillows would be a nice touch. Also just a few small repairs are needed. Especially in the bunk room. A bunk ladder step was missing. No towel holders in either bath. Some WD 40 is needed for squeaky and sticky doors. We enjoyed the pool. Nice landscaping.

Great place not too far from the beach, maybe a little bit long if you’re walking and pulling a wagon behind you, but it can be . three bathrooms is a nice luxury. Kids enjoyed the pool. Nice amenities. Listing had pictures of Pickleball courts, but such courts are private and we’re not accessible otherwise pretty good space overall.

Perfect Hilton Head location

This condo was perfect for our family! The location is great in Coligny and has the beach, restaurants, grocery and shopping all there just a short walk away. The condo itself has everything you need. The patio area is great and looks right into the courtyard where the pool is located. So many pretty mossy trees. I was obsessed! We would Definitely go back!

Our yearly stay at Hilton Head

Property was nice. Kitchen utensils could have been better but I understand people dont treat your belongings like their own. A mixer would have been nice. Everything else was as advertised. We had a great stay here. I highly recommend it.

Winter escape

It is in a fabulous location - beach , groceries, restaurants are all within minutes of walking, and yet the complex is quiet and feels and is isolated from noise and traffic. Some aspects of the unit are slightly dated but overall it is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. We stayed for 3 months and would do it again in a heartbeat. Liz the owner is very responsive and helpful.

Relaxation

Rental owner extremely helpful! Relaxing stay with quiet, secure courtyard. Walk or bike to lots of shops, restaurants and of course the beach! Beautiful beach with room to stretch out. Loved the electronic door lock, beach towels, cart, chairs. We would stay again.

Fantastic location, great stay!

Great location, walkable or bikeable to anything you’d want while visiting. We stayed for a month and the villa was very well equipped for a long stay. Great setup! The listing was very accurately represented. Highly recommend and will likely rent here again!

Nice place in good location

The condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies for cooking and beach supplies (chairs, boogie board, beach cart, towels, and umbrella). The beach was 5 to 10 minute walk and many restaurants and stores to walk to. Bike rental was in walking distance and we rented bikes which we were able to ride to many other parts of the island.
