Enjoy an entire cottage built in Bend's Mill heyday of 1925, located in the historic Old Town of Bend. Newly restored including refinishing the original fir floor complete with their charming squeaks, and listed on Nat register of historic places. The bungalow comfortably sleeps 2 in the queen bed, and one or 2 adults or children in the second bedroom with a trundle bed with 2 twin mattresses. Just one block walk to the heart of downtown Bend with its restaurants, pubs, galleries as well as visitors center,banks groceries/pharmacy. Historic Drake park on the Deschutes River is an easy stroll. McMenamins Complex with Turkish soaking bath is around the block. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, secure Wi-Fi and cable TV, heat pump and AC for your comfort. Cute gas fireplace. Best in Fall, Spring or Summer.

Lovely house but very cold. I slept with a hat and gloves on every night. The tv had 3 remote controls with inaccurate, hand written instructions. In other seasons with a new tv it would be perfect. It has an excellent kitchen.

Great long weekend in Bend!

This house is a great little place! Our little family of 4 had everything we needed for a weekend getaway and we enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores and to quietly observe the family of 3 deer that slept on the front lawn at night! So cute!

Amazing stay

Property is lovely and has everything you need. We ended up extending our stay and the host was very accommodating. We could've stayed longer! Easy walk in to town as well!

Great stay!

This place was absolutely perfect. It was right in the heart of downtown and walkable to many great restaurants and breweries. We would definitely stay here again.

Walking distance to town

This was a great little place with everything you need. The bathroom was in between the bedrooms which were sometimes locked and had to be accessed through the other room. This was fine for our family but may be weird with other situations.

Great central kocstion

We usually stay in Sunriver but this was a nice change. Very close to everything so we could walk everywhere. Property is very clean and I would come back again.

Perfect spot!

My middle school aged son & I were in town for a basketball tournament. This home was the perfect spot & size for our needs. Nice home like feel! We will stay again!

Absolutely charming, historic bungalow near everything that’s best about Bend. We come to Bend at least once a year (for the past five)—this is by far the nicest property we’ve rented!

Cozy mill house near town center

We were iced in Iike every one else in Bend, but did not matter because we could easy walk into town.

Great place to stay

We came for a last minute ski vacation in Bend/Mount Bachelor. The house was very comfortable for a couple and a single person although with 1 queen bed, 1 single bed, and 1 single trundle bed it wouldn’t work well for 2 couples. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious, the house is well finished and appointed, and the heat-pump is comfortable even down below zero as we found out. There is an upscale grocery store close by and it’s a short walk to downtown and a walk along the waterfront. Overall a great place to stay.

Short Stay in Bend

Just a quick trip with my wife and 4 month old daughter. Location was excellent and perfect for afternoon walks. Easily walk to plenty of food and drinks with the rest of bend a quick 3-8 minute drive.

Cozy Cottage

This cozy cottage was perfect for my wife and I. It was newly remodeled, clean and in a great location. It was walking distance to downtown Bend and close to all other activities. Had a great time!

This house is located is a quiet neighborhood so near the epicenter of Bend. The house itself is a modest but sturdy craftsman bungalow. My next favorite building is Timberline Lodge. I enjoy pine trees, fir trees, birds,, horses, dogs, quilts, craftsmanship and nature. The house also contains a Hudson's Bay Indian trading blanket, a Pendleton Blanket and a great book on collecting Indian blankets. I hope you enjoy the house and Bend.
