5 Minute Stroll To Beach!! Newly Renovated And Listed. Professionally Decorated

Welcome to your clean, cozy, comfortable home away from home. This very special place was renovated and designed with details in mind. As you enter the abode, the lightness and attention to detail is obvious. The furnishings are all brand new and designed to be enjoyed.
The kitchen is well equipped and also has upgrade stainless appliances and beautiful quartz counter tops. There is a desk area with USB outlets right off the kitchen. The bedrooms are outfitted with brand new memory foam mattresses. Beside each bed is a USB outlet for cell phone charging.
There is a fabulous outdoor shower right off the side kitchen door. It does have hot and cold water. Also on the side is a gas grill and outdoor eating area. The beach is just a short stroll down a shady side street. Very easy walk even with children. There are 5 restaurants within easy walking distance.

Very clean. Helpful communication from host. Comfortable beds. All necessities provided: dishes, utensils, towels, TP, soap, laundry detergent, etc. Perfect size for a family of four.Do plan to bring or purchase drinking water, because like much tapwater in coastal Georgia, the tapwater here smells very sulfurous.Very convenient access to the beach, and a twenty-minute walk from the lighthouse, Neptune Park, and the pier.Next door to several restaurants, but did not notice any excess noise from outside. Side note: during peak season, the restaurants fill up fast, so get there early!Overall a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay.

Another Great Stay at Tidewater Two

Great location and such a cute house. We’ve stayed here at least 4 times now. Communication always great too! Short walk to multiple restaurants and the beach. See you next time TWT.

This property is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for an awesome stay on SSI. The little things that you forget from home are provided and comes with great outdoor area to enjoy as well.

Great location. Short walk to the beach and some of the best restaurants on the island. Cute little house with all you need to be comfortable. Will hopefully stay here again!

St. Simon’s Experience

Perfect little rental…nicely renovated and clean. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Great neighborhood with pedestrian/bike lanes and quiet (in November). Great for 3-4 people.

1mile from the center of SSI! Very close to 3 great restaurants! The brewery was amazing and across the street! The beds were very comfortable! Plenty of freshly cleaned towels! Everything in the kitchen worked! Very clean! Love that parts of your phone number are the code to get in; easier to remember!

Labor Day getaway

Wonderful location, walking distance to the best the island has to offer. Very clean, well furnished and decorated. Truly felt like we were staying in a beach house. The owner was exceptionally receptive to questions (best food, things to do, etc.) and response to our every need. Great place to stay for those looking to experience the island by just walking out the front door!

We fell in love with St Simons in 2003. We owned another cottage and vacationed on St Simons for 7 years until we finally made St Simons our home. We saw this property for sale and had a vision of what it could be with some renovation. We lovingly and tediously planned each detail to be a place to vacation, retreat and make memories!

We chose this property because of the wonderful location. It is so close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We also had seen this duplex for a long time and felt like it had such potential.

The unique benefits of Tidewater Retreat is that it offers so many options. If you are traveling with another family, it is nice to each have your own space but be together when you want to.
Its perfect for Grandparents that are coming along on vacations or even teenagers that want a little Independence but you are still under the same roof. Each side is available to be rented by itself.
