The Contentment Cottage was fully renovated and an addition completed in January 2023. Come enjoy the newly renovated spaces and create lasting memories. Guests will experience a restful retreat with vaulted ceilings throughout the home, lots of natural light, hardwood floors, spacious and well equipped kitchen and entertaining area, 2 covered porches, NEW fire pit installed in private backyard. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is a short walk to Mallery Park, Village and the SSI Pier. FLETC Welcome & month long renters welcome- contact owner for discounts.

Incredible stay at The Contentment Cottage! House was so spacious, clean and a 2 min drive from SSI village. Our first time on the island and looking forward to our next time to stay here again! Christian was so easy to communicate with and made reservation process seamless.

Great property for family trip!

This is a beautiful home! Clean and fresh! The house has several different areas for family and friends to enjoy their time visiting. Every amenity just as described. The host was informative and easy to communicate with before, during and our stay. Close to all the fun! We’ll definitely stay again!

Clean, Comfortable, Exceptional

We will be back! My partner and 3 kids had an excellent stay for 5 days in Aug. 2025. The home was impeccably clean which is always number one on my list. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the ice machine made plentiful ice for our hot, hot week. The beds were comfortable and the primary bedroom, bathroom, and walk in closet is huge!The attention to detail - bright and plentiful lighting, cards and other games, and comfy outside furniture -- was exceptional. The included beach towels were much appreciated and saved us packing space! Close to the beach, restaurants, Neptune pool -- We rented a golf cart and easily and quickly navigated around town.Thanks for the stay and the memories we were able to make.

The cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Took my family of four (ages 1-9) and it was very family friendly. No stairs to fight with, toys and books for kids on site. Big open space and nice backyard for kids to play. A great central location to enjoy SSI, nice neighborhood to take a walk in. The owner was gracious and checked on us before and after check in. Very easy to communicate with and extra helpful. We will stay again.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a terrific time on St Simons and at this beautiful home! It was hands down THE cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed at. It was well stocked, comfortable, quiet, and close to shopping and restaurants. Thank you, Christan!

Enjoyable stay…AGAIN!

2nd time we’ve stayed here and the quality of the home is top notch and has more accessories & amenities than you could ever need for your stay. Back porch is perfect for any time of day but especially the mornings and evenings. Location is beyond convenient.

Perfect 20th Anniversary Trip

Planned a long weekend getaway for the hubby and kids to celebrate the end-of-school, Memorial Day, and our 20th wedding anniversary. The pictures are on point! Great layout, well appointed and clean. Christan is a great host! We highly recommend especially if you have children the kids loved the double bunk bed bedroom.

We had a great time in St. Simons. Contentment Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. It is exactly as it is listed. It was clean, completely updated and in a great location. We will definitely be a return guest!

Beautiful home in perfect location

We had a wonderful stay here and the house was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. We would defiantly book here again. It was quiet and the neighbors were kind. We brought our bikes and with the location we could get everywhere quickly.

Perfect SSI Getaway

House is unbelievably clean, freshly remodeled with new appliances. Owner communication was super easy. House location is perfect. Walkable to the village etc.

Well designed home

We stayed at this house with three people who have never been to Saint Simons. The house was comfortable and well equipped and very clean. We had two good cooks, and they really enjoyed the big kitchen.

Great Stay!

We booked Christian’s place very last minute for Christmas because of a late change of plans. I was a little stressed out finding a nice place so close to Christmas, and we couldn’t have been happier to come across Christian’s place. The home was very clean and comfortable, and Christian was very responsive and friendly. I would highly recommend!

Great Family Vacation @ SSI

Just as advertised online. Clean, tastefully and professionally decorated. Ample elbow room for our family. Good bedding in the Master. Nice back porch. And the owner was highly responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this place.

Extremely Comfortable

Everything is brand new, large open floorplan, all the accessories you could possibly need, big yard (for St. Simon’s), great location…my children really enjoyed it…I’m on the island twice a month during the fall, winter & spring and this will be my “Go To” property every time!

First time for everything

My wife and I have been come down here with our own families for over 20 years and we met and got married and this is our first time in SSI with each other and our soon to be daughter. This house was very accommodating to us and our friends/family. Christian was great and we can’t wait to be back next year with a new addition!

More beautiful in person!

This house looks beautiful in the pictures but even more so in person. With a family of 6 I was really excited for the bunk beds and large table for meals. They both accommodated us perfectly. The location is excellent as well - a quick drive to the pier, public beaches, playgrounds, restaurants and shops. We also really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood.
