Situated on a beautiful hillside in Sausalito, our 2 bedroom, 1 bath home is perfect for one or two couples visiting the San Francisco Bay area. Situated just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito offers a beautiful, seaside community with restaurants, shops, galleries, kayaking and biking. Our home is within walking distance to the business district of Sausalito, where you can take the ferry across the Bay to downtown San Francisco. Wine country is just 35 miles away.
The home is newly renovated and completely furnished. Floor to ceiling windows in the living room and master bedroom allow for beautiful views over San Francisco’s Bay and Angel Island. There is a large, fully-stocked kitchen and bar for in-home entertaining and a deck to enjoy cocktails at sunset.
This property is not suitable for children under 18. No pets. Property is one unit of a triplex.
Check in is 3pm, checkout is 11am.

Stunning views in great town

The views from either the balcony or the floor to ceiling windows don’t disappoint! I never tired of looking out on the bay in all its moods. Well appointed kitchen made it easy to cook most of our meals while visiting our daughter and her fiancé who live near by. Sparkling clean with a great location. Easy communication with the owner. I would stay here for a visit every year if I could!

Great stay!

Perfect getaway. Beautiful views and location. The property has all you need for your stay. The owner is very responsive and they have stocked the house with all you need and more, to include extra jackets, bags, more than one coffee maker and full bar. Would definately stay here again!

Fabulous stay

The property was well appointed with every home comfort you could wish for- full bar facilities of various drinks (cabinet as well as a stocked refrigerator), refrigerator and cupboards stocked with all the items you would find in your own home for the quests use. Homeowner even ensured that there were various jackets available for the cooler nights if required. The full kitchen and laundry services were most appreciated. Overall a marvellous place that catered for all your needs (no need to bring much) Just a fabulous stay in a fabulous place.

Sausalito stunner

This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful home in Sausalito. Owner great to work with, very accommodating and responsive. House is neat and clean and large with awesome picture window with stunning views. Walking distance to town. This is our go to place when we visit San Fran.

Awesome place for family

Wonderful kitchen, beds, location and view. Owner was wonderful to work with. If we come back to Bay Area, this place is at the top of the list. We were two parents and two teenage kids on weeklong vacation to Bay Area and this place worked perfectly. Easy driving to and from San Francisco and easy walk to center of Sausalito.

The perfect vacation house!

This house was just perfect for a vacation. With wall to wall windows, the views were stunning. Waking up and relaxing to those views was amazing. House was stocked with anything you could need including extra jackets. Full kitchen. Full bar was a bonus. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. The host provided great instructions and was very communicative (we arrived late at night but had no issues parking/getting in with the detailed notes). Will definitely return. Thank you!

Incredible Sausilito Home - Fantastic Views and Location

Sausalito Sunrise exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend for any visit to the Bay Area. Easy access to the city and to other destinations like Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, Bodega Bay, Sonoma, Napa, etc. Convenient parking for our rental car gave us the freedom to visit where we wanted. The Sausalito ferry terminal is nearby and we enjoyed taking the ferry in to San Francisco. The home is comfortable and nicely appointed. The open floor plan features huge windows with stunning views of Angel Island and the bay. The kitchen is well equipped and nicely stocked with coffee, espresso, snacks, and drinks. We took full advantage of the "honor bar" which is very nicely stocked! The host was always quick to respond and a real pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous view; well-stocked house.

This rental was amazingly well stocked for guests' enjoyment! Best I have ever rented. In addition to a fully stocked kitchen, there was food, drinks and a full bar available for guests to enjoy. A donation jar was provided to help with the costs of restocking. Bathrooms and bedrooms were also very well stocked. The view was stunning, looking over the water at Angel Island. The house is on a steep hill with a very narrow road. It was good we didn't decide to bring two cars, as parking would have been very difficult. We were also slightly dismayed to find that the house sits over another unit (steep hillside), making us conscious that neighbors were below us, perhaps more in work mode than stay-up-late vacation mode.

Beautiful spot!

We spent 5 days visiting our adult children in the Bay area. Sausalito Sunrise was the perfect spot. Being centrally located was wonderful. We could easily walk to the ferry and to restaurants downtown. Napa is an easy drive and it was also very easy to get to the Golden Gate recreational area. The property is stunning and spacious. There is a beautiful view from every window. The kitchen is very well equipped with many basics as well as luxuries like an espresso machine. The bar is over the top and on the honor system!!! We were able to have our children and friends over for dinner without feeling crowded. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!

Amazing view!

I recently stayed here for two nights. Comfy Bed, nice big shower/tub, cocktails, and of course the view. It is a very quiet and very clean home. It really has all the amenities you need. I highly recommend staying here. Don't eat at Aurora down the street but do try the Lighthouse for breakfast.

More than Perfect

The property and location are even more stunning than the photos! Booking, payment transaction, and arrival info were an easy process. Sausalito Sunrise is located in a very quiet neighborhood with all the charm that Sausalito has to offer. Clear to understand parking instructions Loved the well stocked bar, glassware and setups. What a wonderful working kitchen - abundant counter space and cabinets. And the dining table and dining area enhanced any meal should you decide to dine in. Should you decide to meander into town, there are numerous dining options as well as assorted shops. Don't overlook the walk along the bay especially in the early morning or later in the evening - the light of the sunrise or sunset changes the character of the scenery. Bedrooms are uncluttered. Bedding is clean and fresh. The laundry facilities are easily accessed - just steps from the kitchen entry. Great lighting options - loved the gooseneck floor lamps in the living room so much that I ordered 2 for my own home. I will be returning to Sausalito Sunrise!

Stunning Views at Sausalito Sunrise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sausalito Sunrise. We felt right at home and appreciated all the stock items that were available (toiletries, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc.) The owners even provide jackets for those of us from the south who don't pack the appropriate clothing. The house was fresh and clean with comfortable beds. The view was amazing. We will definitely consider staying at the Sausalito Sunrise on our next trip to SF.

Spliply elegant property with endless views.

I enjoyed staying overnight for a short getaway with my partner. We loved the open air feeling, the decor was modern and elegant, which suited the the craftsman style property perfectly. There were many special small touches that really made it feel as if you might be staying with friends -VERY welcoming!!!! We enjoyed walking to downtown many times throughout the day.Just close enough to shops and restaurant without being around other tourists.This property is amazingly peaceful.

Beautiful property with plenty of hospitable touches!

We had a great experience and wished we had stayed longer! The views are breath taking and the quiet street and comfy beds are great for a good nights sleep! So many things to do just a mile down the road!

Great Family Vacation!

Our family of four stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. It was a perfect location as a home base from which to explore the outdoors of Marin County. Checking out SF museums on a rainy day was very convenient as well. The apartment has gorgeous views, is clean and nicely decorated and has comfy beds & bed linens. We appreciated all of the thoughtful details: stocked bar, chocolates upon arrival, basics already in the kitchen, detergent in the laundry room, etc. The photos and description are spot on and we would absolutely book this apartment again.

Weekend Stay

My family enjoyed staying at your property. The home is beautiful and the view of Angel island is amazing. We watched sailboats and even whales in the water! The home is clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk to some restaurants and even take the ferry to San Francisco. I would highly recommend staying here.

Far exceeded our expectations!

Un petit paradis aux portes de San Francisco

Quel calme apres les journées de visite à San Francisco! Cet endroit est fantastique, la vue superbe. Tout est de tres bon gout et tres confortable. On se sent"comme à la maison" à tel point que nous avons pris tous nos petits dejeuners et presque tous les diners sur place. Le joli village de Sausalito est accessible à pieds. A recommander absolument.

Perfect location, beautiful sunrise, and great hospitality

Our family really enjoyed catching up with each other in this comfortable home on the hillside of Sausalito. Conveniently located to restaurants and easy access to route 101. Accommodations were perfect and having coffee available for the morning was much appreciated. Thank you and we hope to do this again in the future.

Gorgeous view, tastefully furnished, excellent amenities

Spent one night at this amazing rental over the weekend. Stunning view of the bay from the apartment which is tastefully furnished with upscale bar and kitchen essentials. Walking distance from the water where I went on a long run, past lots of cute Sausalito shops and restaurants. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway or peaceful retreat.

The View!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a recent weekend getaway in this gorgeous apartment. The view from the living room, master bedroom and sun deck has to be among the best in the Bay! We spent our morning sipping coffee gazing out the window and our evenings drinking wine while watching the pink sunset sky. It was perfect for our group of five people. We had planned to venture into San Francisco for the day, but once we settled in, we never wanted to leave! We did make an outing on foot in Sausalito to explore the boutiques and galleries. It was a lovely 10-15 minute walk along the water. The apartment is conveniently located near several great restaurants and grocery stores as well. We can't wait to go back for our annual trip!
