Charming pet friendly residence nestled in the heart of Cayucos! This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home spans two stories, offering captivating ocean vistas from the famous Studio Drive. Situated just steps away from the shoreline, enjoy convenient public access right across the street. The main floor features a spacious king-size bedroom equipped with a TV, a well-appointed bathroom boasting a tub/shower combination, and convenient indoor laundry facilities. Ascend to the second floor to discover another inviting bedroom outfitted with a queen-size bed, accompanied by its own TV and bathroom. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials for your culinary endeavors, while a patio balcony provides a serene spot for al fresco dining with breathtaking ocean views extending from the kitchen and living room. The home is beautifully decorated with sea accents to make your visit feel relaxing and rejuvenating. With a 2-car attached garage and an expansive yard adorned with tables, a BBQ, and a fire pit, outdoor entertaining is a delight in this beautifully landscaped haven. Pet-friendly, bring your furry friend (woof woof) at NO EXTRA CHARGE.
Plus, enjoy the convenience of included utilities, cable with WiFi, and flat-screen TVs throughout the home.

Rental Rates: Rates vary depending on dates, season, and length of stay. Please use the inquiry table located on the page in the upper right hand corner to get a quote for the dates you are interested in booking. Summer and holiday dates may require 7 night minimum. You have the option to choose the Property Protection Plan or a Security Deposit Hold please see more details below:

1) $65 nonrefundable Property Protection Plan: covers up to $2,100 in accidental damages. (This option is automatically generated in quotes)

2)$3,000 refundable Security Deposit Hold (must contact Beachside Rentals if you prefer this option in final booking process)

Amazing Spot

Great Beach House!

Wonderful, cozy and convenient home to enjoy the beach, Cayucos and SLO. Beachside Rentals were communicative and helpful before, during and after our stay. We really liked the sunset views from the balcony and the access to a fun beach. The town of Cayucos had a delicious bakery and finding Hidden Kitchen (not too hard) was a treat! Highly recommended!

Clean property with gorgeous views! Step out on the balcony for gorgeous views. Perfect place for family and fur babies to play on the beach. Will make this our regular spot!

Great house and location!

Our house was great! Nicely decorated and right across the street from public beach access. The second floor living area needs to be considered for those with mobility issues however it was perfect for us as we had a nice view of the ocean.

Fabulous ocean side stay with man’s best friend!

Owner was extremely accessible and responsive. Had a fabulous stay! Well equipped home and close to beach. Very enjoyable and can hear the ocean out the main living area. Dog friendly and adaptable.

Great beach access

The property is a hidden gem, it is about a mile and a half outside of town. The house has a great beach access which is across the street. it is also pet friendly which is what we needed. The upstairs has a nice balcony and everything you need to have a great stay. we enjoyed the house and would definitely stay again. It was a very convenient check in and out.

Great beach escape

Across the street from the beach, this is a great escape for my husband, daughter and I, along with our dogs, just 2 hours from home! We are repeat visitors and appreciated the new dishwasher, microwave and pots and pans!

Relaxing stay...

We love this place! The 2nd level living space, clean, light and open, provides for a beautiful view. A spectacular sunset can be seen from there or on the beach which has an access entry right across the street. The house has everything we need, inside and out. We are repeat renters, and look forward to future trips to the house and this beautiful area.

Amazing Beachfront Stay

We loved everything about this beachside stay. We went on long walks on the beach each day. Beds and bedding were comfy and soft. Kitchen had everything we needed. We used the grill and firepit. So nice to have an upstairs and downstairs fridge. The large garage was a nice perk. We hope to stay here again as the accommodations and location can’t be beat!

Fantastic beach front property!

We really enjoyed our time here on vacation! The beach was absolutely perfect and is literally steps from the front door. We travelled with our three children and puppy and the house was perfect for us. Everything was as pictured and the additional fold away bed in the upstairs bedroom was an added bonus meaning we did not need to use the sofa bed in the lounge room. We would highly recommend this property to couples, families or anyone else looking for a rather ideal spot to spend some vacation time! Thanks again Pat for such a lovely stay!

Amazing stay!

It was our first time taking our golden doodle on a trip. Loved this lovely, pet friendly home. Our pup loved the beach. Ran around until he was exhausted. A tired dog is a good dog! The charming home was exactly as advertised. The beach access was right across the street. As other reviewers noted, you can hear Highway 1 traffic, but we did not find it disturbing and couldn’t hear with windows closed.

Relaxation at its finest

This was our second time staying in this house. It feels like home now. My favorite part about staying in this house is it’s convenient location to the beach. A short drive will take you to see the elephant seals and gorgeous beach at Cambria, wine tasting and great restaurants in Paso Robles, Monarch Butterfly Grove in Pismo Beach and the college town of San Luis Obispo. The house has all the conveniences of home. Pat Wood was available for help when we had questions about how things work. I’d stay here again, soon I hope.

Beautiful Sunsets and steps from the beach

This is a nice property in a small neighborhood. When we first rented this house I expected that the beach access was not going to be as advertised, but the access it literally across a street and you are literally, "steps from the beach." The sunsets were amazing and you can see the Morro Bay rock from the balcony. And of course we enjoyed our time in Cayucos, Cambria, Morro Bay and downtown SLO. We had a minor issue with the toilet, and the property management company sent a handyman over within 30 minutes and it was fixed. We really appreciated how quickly they got back to us.

Wonderful girlfriend and dogs getaway!

This was my second visit at Steps to the Beach. Both trips were wonderful! The home was clean, organized, comfortable, open, and perfect spot for a beach getaway. Super dog friendly. They even had a pup basket, in which my dog was beyond himself excited to find a toy in! Very friendly and reliable communication. Will definitely be back!!!

Practically Perfect!

This house was a perfect fit for our vacation! It was clean and beautifully decorated. It is very pet friendly - they even have food and water dishes ready! The fenced in yard is full of gorgeous succulents, and the public beach access is just across the street. Oh! And we could see whale spouts from the balcony. Highly recommend!
