We had a lovely stay! The apartment is very clean and attractive. The bed is very comfortable, as is the living room, complete with a wonderful gas stove. And the hosts have thought of and provided everything you might need. It was very close to town but quiet and peaceful. Communication was great and I'm so glad we had a chance to meet our helpful hosts.

Awesome stay

Very comfortable place, feel like home away from home.Robert and Cheryl are wonderful people and Cheryl had everything you might need when traveling. Loved the little post it notes and snacks she left for us. Will stay there again for sure.

This is the perfect quiet mountain retreat. The place is spotless and perfect for two people. The hosts are easy to communicate with. I can't list a single thing that needs to be improved. I only wish that every VRBO we stay at could be as nice as this.

We loved this property! Very spacious, and they have any convenience item you might need. Also in a great area, convenient for hiking and biking the area.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was my second time staying at Deerwood Haus and everything was just as perfect as it was the first time. The location is great and the apartment is extremely clean. Robert and Cheryl are wonderful hosts and the many "extras " they provide make their place a very comfortable and welcoming getaway.

Wonderful getaway!

This is our 3rd time staying at this lovely place. Cheryl and Bob are great hosts and think of every little extra that makes this place feel like home. It has a charming Adirondack theme and lovely touches. Thank you, Cheryl and Bob!

Perfect mini getaway

We had such a great little trip to lake placid, and our stay here was absolutely wonderful! Loved all the amenities and details throughout the house, it really helped to make it feel like home. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly! We will definitely be coming back soon :)

It was great

Clean, wonderful decor, left many little things like a couple of bottles of water and fresh butter and milk in the fridge. Great location. Would certainly stay again when in Lake Placid.

weekend stay

the apartment was lovely and clean. we had a great weekend, especially knowing we were coming back to such a comfortable spot after our daily adventures. would definitely return

Highly recommend!

Rob and Cheryl keep this rental extremely clean. It was such a great time staying here - great neighborhood, close to LP, and great area for running. We definitely are going to rent this spot again in the future.

Adorable!

The owners of this property clearly put alot and time and effort into making this a cozy, quintessential Adirondack spot. All the special touches made the stay unique. And the ADK decor is perfect!

super enjoyable stay with lovely hosts

The hosts were really kind both before and during the stay. There was a huge attention to detail, both in the decor of the home and the way it has been maintained. There was a fridge and pantry and bathroom full of items for when we arrived, and the cleanliness of the property was impeccable. Lovely location as well, couldn’t recommend enough !
