The house was great for our purpose of a girls weekend. We did not need to make big meals - needed a clean and comfortable place to stay near lake activities. Everything we wanted to do was nearby and easily accessible. Wonderful weekend!

Lovely time here for big family with access to lake and room for everyone in the dining room. Sun porch is fun to hangout in mornings with eyes on lake sunrise. This is our third year staying here for family reunion and we will be back next year!

This charming rustic farmhouse was spotless, well equipped and we were sorry to leave. The lake was beautiful for swimming and fishing. We are a family of 10 and there were so many gathering spots inside and out. Bruce has done a great job and is very responsive.

We had a family reunion here with 10 family members and the house had plenty of room for us to comfortably spread out. We usually rent a home right on the lake and although this home was across the street we still had easy access to the waterfront. We loved the fire pit as well. We cooked all our meals and found the kitchen easy to work with.

We were disappointed to discover that we had to walk across the street to get to the lake. From the pictures, we thought we were staying right on the lake and could walk to the water right from the house.

Perfect location and ideal for 9-10 people!

We loved this house! Perfect for a group and loved the solarium, grill/outdoor area, and access to the lake.

Host was involved when it became known the guest was sleeping 18 people in the rental for the first 2 nights when the limit posted is 10 persons. Additionally , host had to ask guests to take music inside and lower voices at 11:30 pm. Voices carry when on a hill above the road and lake. Host lives above property in the hill and can hear excessive noise. Listing states to “please respect the quiet privacy of my neighbors “.

Spacious Comfortable Farmhouse

A large comfortable home that easily accommodated 10 people. Great for family reunion. Located on a quiet stretch of road close to Canandaigua and Naples. Good lake access and easy drive to several wineries. Definitely would stay there again.

Beautiful, unique house with awesome lake access

Everything about this house was perfect for my needs -- I was travelling out for the weekend with a large group of friends, and I don't know what I would have done if this property weren't available. It has generous parking and yard space, and the lake is extremely accessible. Bruce was extremely responsive, flexible, and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here.

Family over Everything

I wish check in could have been earlier than 4 PMAnd check out no earlier than 11. Overall, the house was Perfect for us !Kitchen was fairly well equipped.. And we could drink the tap water We are not able to at our homeThe whole house was clean , beds were comfy, and a large yard so we could play cornhole or bocce.

50th Anniversary vacation

The lake house and barn were a perfect summer place for my family At times their house ere 10 of us there, which included 5 children of different ages. We were right by the lake and had the use of a dock to put on our paddle boards, which we did daily. All modern conveniences in the home. It is an old farmhouse and does need a little tic. The stove probably needs to be updated.too. Other than that, everything was perfect

Host very responsive - farmhouse wonderful for large families and reunions. Lots of bedrooms and inviting porches. We were there during heat wave - temp in mid 90s- and yet house comfortable. Good swimming off dock. Would return again

Enjoyed all the space

This property has a great amount of living space for those traveling with a large group. There are so many areas to just hang out and enjoy the breeze. Kitchen is very well equipped, lots of yard space, and easy access to the water. We will be back!

Awesome historic farmhouse!

We fully enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for family of five and a couple guests here and there. Some idiosyncrasies, but it all added to the charm. Great location. Loved it!

Wonderful Family Celebration for my 94 year old father!

This was a perfect home for us to celebrate. Older people can sit and view the lake, younger people can swim at the dock, get together for dinner BBQ outside, play cards and games inside after dark. We truly enjoyed our trip and the house made it all work wonderfully.

No docking for a week long stay.

The place and property was nice, dogs allowed was a huge plus. However, we had two boats and the property owner didn’t have a dock for us. There was a mooring with no rowboat. Super inconvenient. Also, no place to really put your boat trailers on the property that was acceptable to the owner. Shared dock meant no overnight docking and that wasn’t specified.
