Very beautiful place with awesome view. We went for the waterfalls and Pictured Rocks, but the place was so peaceful it made it hard to want to leave and to venture out. Renee got back to me right away when I had an issue with my entrance code. Clean and lovely home.

The home was very clean and well equipped. The home is right on the beach and the water view is as stunning as the pictures. The host was very responsive and communicated well! Highly recommend!

Renee was wonderful and very responsive to all communication from us.The Boathouse was perfect! Our family had an amazing time. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable and the extra attention to items such as puzzles, books, and extra linens/blankets made for a great stress free stay.

Loved the Boathouse

The Boathouse is a lovely and newly renovated property on the beach in Grand Marais. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our vacation stay! The property manager is very responsive!

Boathouse stay

The property was lovely. It was very clean. The owner thought of everything, puzzles, books, games, clean linens and all with a beautiful view.

We so enjoyed our stay. We always cook in rentals and this one was well-appointed with everything you’d need. My kids loved the backyard area on the water and we spent all our evenings out there. We also appreciated the space and thought put into the extras like bedding, throw blankets, and games.

Perfect getaway

Grand Marais has always been one of my favorite areas to visit in the UP. It has been years since I have been there and very little has changed! The area is quiet, peaceful. The house was perfect! Will rent again!

Perfect location for a variety of our planned day trips. The bedroom we used allowed us to watch the sunrise, nearly every day. Owner 1st agreed to change my reservation when a good family issue arose; She responded immediately when we had an issue with the electronic door lock. Only down side was I thought my arthritic self, and dog would be able to wade into the harbor directly from the backyard, however that access was blocked by large slippery rocks. Luckily Agate park was very close. Absolutely would stay here any season.

Beautiful view!!

Beautiful views, close to Lake Superior. Was able to watch the Northern Lights from the beach. . Perfect location for day tripping to Munising, Pictured Rocks, Two Hearted River, Tahquamenon Falls, Crisp Point Lighthouse, Sable Falls and Sable Point Lighthouse . We will be back. Walked downtown Grand Marais for dinner and breakfast.

Beach front deceiving

Everything was excellent. Except for the picture in the listing of the beachfront. The beachfront is actually all very large boulders, hard to access the harbor. And there was a mouse. Otherwise very nice place, great location and great town!

The house is very nice. Clean and well stocked with towels! Cute place, nice view of the water. The outside could use a bit of sprucing up. Several pieces of wood laying around on the walkway, random things blowing around. The picture of the beach is a misleading as the beach is behind a grouping of rocks. A challenge for someone with mobility issue.

A Nice Home for a UP Fall

This home was a perfectly cozy spot for the 6 of us and had amazing view of the water. We loved to see the colorful leaves across the water and to hear the crashing waves from the living room. It was a perfect spot to walk into town as well as to the point of Grand Marais. WIFI connection was not great, but worked enough. Overall, would recommend!

Very Relaxing

This was a very reasonably priced vacation home. It was clean and had all the necessary conveniences. It had a wonderful medicine cabinet in the bathroom, which was stocked with everything you could need. I think all they were missing was an enema. Very nice location. Very quiet. There is a restaurant and gift store right across the street. You can easily walk out to the lighthouse and find agates on the beach. Could’ve used a kayak or a canoe otherwise fantastic place.
