Great views for sunrise. Beach area is very nice. Felt secluded & private despite being close to everything. Rooms were small, but cozy. One thing to be aware if is that bedrooms with full size beds don't have access to walk on both sides of bed. Turned out okay for us, but may not work for others. Well appointed kitchen. Very functional & clean bathroom. Great location. Great fun. Great communication with host. Overall superb stay.

Cozy cabin that stays warm even on cold nights on a great bay with a short walk to the beach and with good restaurants nearby couldn't ask for more.

We rented this property for two nights. Our overall experience was very positive. When we first pulled in my family was questioning my decision to book this property. On the outside the house itself doesn’t look as nice as it does in the pictures. Once we were inside we were pleased though. The property was clean and well maintained. We appreciated the gorgeous view and the neighborhood was beautiful. Both nights we were able to enjoy a fire in the fire pit looking out on the lake. The location is fantastic. The town of Grand Marais was right around the corner. The food was great at every restaurant we stopped in and the people in town were friendly. The property is very close to the Grand Marais beach, where we were able to do some rock hunting. The property owner was very responsive. Overall, I would recommend this property, particularly if you’re looking for a family friendly beach front house. My family voted this place as our overall favorite during our UP road trip.

Cabin is small and rustic but homey. Can't beat the location and iwn private beach. Will go back again.

Summer vacation in grand marais

Cabin was comfortable, clean, with towels in the bathroom and knives and pots and pans and things in the kitchen. space heaters were available.

The cabin is classic ‘up North’ Michigan. It is an updated log cabin with lots of knotty pine. The bedrooms are small so don’t bring a lot of clothes. It was perfect for my sister, my dog and me. The location is wonderful. A view if the bay, and easy walks to Lake Superior and town. We would stay again.

Quaint and cozy, cute little cabin

Very nice little cabin right on the water. Very convenient location for hiking to the dunes and waterfall.

Classic UP Cabin!

Cozy and comfortable cabin perfect for Fall Color weekend for Mom and Daughter. Very well equipped, we did a lot of cooking. Really enjoyed our stay!

Fishing Cabin

Cabin was very rustic and small. However perfect for our fishing camp and close to everything that we were doing! Had a great time. Grand Marais is a beautiful little town. We will be back next year.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is exactly as described in the Ad. It is very quaint. It has a very nicely supplied kitchen. The location is terrific. Host is very responsive to communication. We would stay again.

Quaint cabin with great location

Overall a very enjoyable stay. Location of property and interaction with local agent five star. The only four-star category was we thought the property appeared bigger on the website than it actually was.
