Home is located on a quiet cove with crystal clear deep water and property includes a fire pit and hot tub for your enjoyment. The dock area is ideal for swimming and floating because it is protected from boat traffic. Enjoy a mountain view while you sun and lounge on the upper deck. Enjoy exploring the lake as you cruise the shoreline in three complimentary kayaks and two paddle boards. At night spend time on the paver patios overlooking the water where you can enjoy roasting marshmallows over the fire or gazing at the star filled sky while relaxing in the state of the art hot tub. Porches surround the house, one on the front, and two off the back. A Weber gas grill is on the back porch off of the kitchen. Inside the home: Xfinity Gigabit internet provided. The first floor features a master bedroom with king bed (TV), bedroom with bunk beds, and a full bath with walk in shower. Watch TV as you gather in the family room. An eat in kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. More seating is a few steps away in the family room and on the deck. Upstairs you will find one bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath, and another bedroom with two queen beds. Both bedrooms have large closets. The lower level offers a master bedroom with king bed (TV) and attached bathroom. Entertainment options are available on the lower lever as it features ping pong, Foosball, and Air Hockey tables. Corn hole also available. Enjoy lounging in front of the big screen TV to watch your favorite show or movie. DVD player and XBox 360 included. There is plenty of parking for your family in the flat U shaped driveway. Access is available to the neighborhood boat ramp if you want to bring your boat. Boat rentals are available at marinas on the lake. A boat can be secured during your stay to the floating dock. The person securing the rental must be age 24 or older. Strict No Pet policy. Great Home!

We loved our stay here. The house is so well-equipped! We especially appreciated that the kitchen was so well outfitted with a Keurig and coffee pot, plenty of pots and pans, and a variety of crockpots, electric skillets etc!

Perfect for 2 families with kids!

We had an amazing stay. With 5 kids, ages 3-7, our 2 families had plenty of space inside and outside to enjoy our stay. The house is stocked - we cooked/grilled each night, played games, made smores, and loved our time on the lake using the paddleboards and kayaks! We rented a boat from Mitchell’s Marina which was easy and close. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again!

Love the lake...and this rental

Great house and wonderful property owner. We had rough weather the first day and a half but there was so much to do at the house that we enjoyed the time. Super friendly and responsive ownership.

Fabulous lake house!

This was a perfect lake house for our family. The cove is quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities (paddle board, kayak, hot tub, fire pit, etc.). The kitchen is very well-stocked and the game room/TV room was a great hangout for the kids when they needed a break from the lake! Thanks for a great vacation and we hope to be back!!

Very beautiful and accommodating

The house had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It was very accommodating and had everything we needed. The no wake cove was wonderful and the views were beautiful. The owner was very responsive to any questions or communication! We highly recommend!

A Space for Everyone!

This is a lovely property filed with so many nice spaces: there really is a spot for everyone. Whether you feel like swimming, reading in the sun, gathering around a campfire or playing board games at night you can find your perfect space to relax and enjoy your vacation. The kitchen is well appointed with many great (extra) appliances and a spacious pantry large enough to store all the food needed for a crowd. We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home!

Simply a great experience!

The owner is fantastic to work with. The property was exceptional , everything was completely furnished to accommodate everyone's daily needs. We love the setting and the spectacular view of the Lake. We have decided that we will make this an annual event to stay at this property. Thank you for a great weekend!

Wonderful family vacation!

We rented this home for our family trip of 6 adults and 4 children - 4, 6, 8 and 11 years old. It was perfect for us! We all thoroughly enjoyed the paddle board, kayak and canoe, and the kids entertained themselves in the game room for hours at a time. The house is on a quiet cove and the views are beautiful. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous home and amazing view!

This house is a true gem and has everything you need for a relaxing weekend by the lake. The beds are super comfy, there is everything you need to make a meal, and plenty of spaces to sit with family and friends. Thank you to Gwen for making us feel at home! I will definitely be coming back and would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay at Smith Mountain Lake!

Very Nice

The house was really nice and the view of the lake was beautiful. We spent a lot of time at the dock and on the back deck of the home overlooking the lake. The teens enjoyed the paddle boards and the kayaks. Thanks for a great week!

Peaceful and lovely

Promised Treasure is just lovely. It’s perfectly situated in a quiet cove. The house is bigger than the pictures suggest, is clean and well appointed. We had a wonderful vacation with our multi- generation group. Communication with the owner is excellent.

Inviting, clean, and roomy!

This is our 2nd year returning and it is just as lovely as the first visit. The responsiveness is better than I’ve ever experienced, the House is well stocked and clean, and there are so many pieces of water equipment that this family generously shares. From 11 - 70 all had a blast!

Amazing Experience

Wow, we had an amazing time at this wonderful house! Especially glad that there were plenty of life jackets for all ages (aged 2 and up), ample boats, paddleboards and oars as well as lots of games and entertainment indoors. Hot tub and fire pit and the water jist topped this off as an amazing, relaxing vacation. Got super lucky with great weather. Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Absolutely Wonderful Spot

We spent a weekend here for my Dad's birthday weekend for the guys in our family. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. It was quiet, comfortable and the best stocked rental any of us had ever stayed in. She had everything that we would have needed. The dock was lovely to spend time on, there is plenty of space, and the house was immaculate. Gwen was very communicative and understanding. Could not recommend the house and the incredibly gracious host more. I would 100% come back.

Beautiful view, nice location. We enjoyed daily coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, deer and squirrels-be careful they love to come up on the deck-rummage through everything and leave “evidence” that is easily swept away 😊. The rooms are as described and easily accommodates 12 people.

Wonderful lake home - even in the winter!

This beautiful home provided a perfect location for our extended family to celebrate the holidays. It was frigid outside, but the hot tub and fire pit allowed us to still enjoy the great location on the lake. Inside, the abundance of game options kept everyone entertained. The kitchen was well-stocked and made meal prep so easy. Lots of space for 10 adults to come together for family meals and fun (and spread out when we needed a break!). Owner provided all information timely and made the rental process so easy. I would definitely recommend this property.
