From sun up to sundown, this gulf-front, gorgeous condominium on the 10th floor of Emerald Towers in Destin has a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico like no other. You get the best of the views, the shimmering sands, and the vast blue-green Gulf of Mexico, straight ahead and magnificent clear view of the sunset to the west.

You will feel like you are in heaven!and you sip your morning coffee on your private balcony overlooking the crystal clear waters and plan your day ahead. You can take a stroll on the beach, take a dip in the pool, work up a sweat in the fitness room. Bring your racket for a challenging game of tennis. Walk to one of Destin's fine restaurants or just relax at the beach and sink your toes in the powdery white sand.

This unit has all the comforts of home with 3 flat screen TVs, DVD players, VCR and stereo, and all the tools you would need in a kitchen to make a gourmet meal or a snack.

This unit has two bedrooms,and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed that is as comfortable as clouds. The guest room has two twin beds. The living room has a queen-size pull-out sofa.

Emerald Towers is centrally located close to Big Kahuna's, water and amusement parks, shopping stores and many fine restaurants.

Emerald Towers is 1 mile from mid-Bay Bridge and Destin Commons, Destin's newest shopping and family entertainment complex.

Disappointed

The view was perfect! Inconveniences was the checking in but we were an hr early so I get that. But the gentleman was not helpful with his mannerism . Another reason why we chose the emerald towers is for the hot tub. They don't have one. Oh and the stove doesn't work and some of the burners on stovetop. Bring light bulbs next time.

weekend in Destin

Location is awesome, condo dated but very clean. Very strict checkin policy...if you arrive prior to 4pm you can't access the condo unless you pay an extra $100 we are in our 70's and had to hang around in the parking lot for 45 min until the door code would work at 4pm i have rented all over the world and have never run into this type of policy. landlord did respond quickly beautiful view and close to restaurants

Our Vacation

When we arrived, we were unable to get into our condo, and since it was after "office hours", we had to make several calls, and finally after an hour someone showed up to let us in for the night, but since we could not get back in again, when were unable to leave the condo. We had booked 6 nights, but the the first night was a total bust, and the host did not offer any compensation for this. The condo itself was clean, and the view the beautiful. The only other issue was when we tried using the oven to cook, and it did not work. I did notify the owner when we got back, so hopefully it works for the next person.

Destin stay

We enjoyed Destin and had a great trip. The floors of the condo needs to be mopped better. The outlets need covers on them and the beds need to be updated. The mattresses are horrible. But the view was beautiful and we still had a great time!

Emerald Towers 1004

Location was great. Cleanliness was great. Great views of the gulf!! Master bed needs updating. A bed of that size and look should definitely be sturdy. It made us really nervous to sleep in it. When checking out I checked under the bed for items that may have been kicked under and noticed that the braces are nearly broken off. I’m glad it held until my party checked out. Other than that I would definitely stay again.

Fun Family Get A Way

The condo was nice, a little out dated but we enjoyed our stay! We were looking forward to the hot tub because it was listed but there wasn’t one. Other than that it was perfect!

This unit was a perfect size for our family. Beautiful view and quick walk to the beach. Rental came furnished with towels, cookware, and a small stash of boogie boards & beach toys.

Very disappointed

We walked in and the place was so dirty!! sand in closets. Stove did not work properly! We ended up with a lot wasted food becouse we could not cook on stove and things picked in back of fridge was frozen after 2 hours of being in there! This place needs to be updated so much! Rust is everywhere and furniture was so dirty. Was not pictured at like what’s in advertising pictures. Tried to communicate with owner but he was not willing to help us out in anyway. He even said someone else complained about the stove and he insisted nothing was wrong! The beds were the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in. Sinking in middle and one of the twins was broken and leaning to the side at foot.

Great location and on-site services, the condo was perfect for an enjoyable week with friends. Everything works as described in the amenities list; but, is beginning to show its age. Only concern was the floors weren’t very clean (odd getting your feet dirty inside the unit). Enjoyed our stay and would return.

Frustrating

This is our first experience using VRBO. Normally we use another site. I read the reviews about the rental. One review did mention the UNIT was filthy, the Hosts response was that the person responding, was bitter and the UNIT would have been re-cleaned had the matter been addressed and requested. Being a business OWNER myself, I know some clients can be DIFFICULT to please! So I’m reluctant to take ALL reviews to heart. Other comments said the unit was “dated”. I wasn’t looking for interior design, but cleanliness is ALWAYS a priority! I thought VRBO would have certain STANDARDS, ie; floors, tubs, windows (venetian blinds). I was wrong! My poor sister walked around with a runny nose (allergies) from the thick dust, covering the windows and blinds. The floors were so dirty that we had black feet, had to keep our shoes on. The day of arrival the stovetop was broken! Not one burner worked! The request was made for maintenance for the next day. When we awoke the following morning the air vent on the overhead microwave was running. I thought it odd because I had NOT turned it on. That’s when I realized the front burner, with its KNOB in the OFF position was HOT! Causing the exhaust fan to turn on! Maintenance did come while we were out, broke a knob on the stove and the burners still didn’t function! DISAPPOINTED isn’t a strong enough word for this disaster of a rental. Emerald Tower wanted NOTHING do with it! NOT in their Management! LESSON LEARED!

Beautiful view...needs some updates

Beautiful view and private beach access. Needs attention in the kitchen as the entire door of the refrigerator is rusted and the appliances are very old (books said from the 90's) and the dishwasher doesn't clean. Several outlet covers missing. The vents have mildew all over them. We found food and clothing belonging to someone else under the kids beds. If the kitchen was updated and the other things addressed the unit would be fine.

All around great stay

check in was easy, great location, great communication with owner. Told owner the cleaning crew could pay better attention to detail and do a better job for what he is paying them for. I am also picky and he told me i should have contacted right away and he would of had them come back and clean it again. Not a deal breaker would stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE- extremely dirty, many safety issues, owner unresponsive and out of country

DO NOT STAY HERE! Property not as described - VERY dirty, coffee table broken and heavy slate on top almost broke my child's foot, mold growth in ice maker that does not work, front of fridge looked like someone threw up all over it, kitchen faucet broken, door handle to patio is broken, no instructions on how to use TV, dirty dishes with egg on them when we arrived, electrical outlets are coming apart and very dangerous. The owner is out of the country it took many calls to get a hold of him. He told us we were wrong and there are no problems and then did nothing about it. He will try to respond to this inquiry stating that what I'm saying is not correct but please DO NOT BELIEVE HIM. He likely pays for reviews because none of those I read sound accurate.
