Appreciate The All Season Joys Of Northern Michigan With Family And Friends

EBT (STR2019 - 0045) Enjoy a multi-family, extended family, or reunion of friends in our large well appointed home. This house can accommodate 10 guests in beds on two levels. The ground level has 3 bedrooms, living room w/gas fireplace, 2 bathrooms (Master with Jacuzzi tub), dining room (can seat 8), laundry and kitchen. The lower level walkout has 2 bedrooms, large family room with game area and a 3/4 bath. The front deck has chairs for a quiet conversation with friends. It has a large deck that looks over the water with a BBQ grill and patio set to seat 6. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes, pans and utensils you will need to feed the crew - including a dishwasher. There is a bonfire pit below the deck and spectacular views of the placid unspoiled shores across the lake.

Swim or fish from the dock. The two kayaks, row boat with electric motor or oars and a canoe are yours to explore the winding watercourses of Rennie Lake. Life preservers are required by law and available, or bring your own. Please note: Rennie Lake is an all-sports lake, but offers no public access from which to launch a boat.

This was our second time staying at this property. It is such a wonderful property with wonderful hosts. The place is very spacious, very clean. Jeff and Lorena the hosts are always very quick to help with any questions you may have. Sits right on the lake, very quiet, very beautiful.

Beautiful location!

Our family had a wonderful stay! The view from the deck is beautiful! It was so nice to have kayaks to use. The owners were easy to communicate with and the house has everything you could need for a relaxing vacation!

Lovely stay

This is our go to whenever we are in the area. It's a gorgeous quiet property that has anything you could need for time away. Our host was great to communicate with and always checks in on us.

The lake house worked out perfectly for our weekend girls trip. Plenty of room for everyone. The house was stocked with everything we needed and then some. The kayaks were also nice to be able to use, as well as the fire pit. We are already planning our next trip there. Location was perfect for Torch Lake and Traverse City outings.

Overall the house was a nice experience. We didn't really get to do much there due to being very busy with wedding things. (Basically we were just able to sleep there.) Lorena was great to work with.

We are glad you found our home comfortable and the amenities to your liking. We are in a quiet residential area on the lake within 20 minutes of downtown Traverse City. Most tenants enjoy the combination of city amenities with the quiet of the lake and woods. I know you were involved with activities related to your son's wedding. It is too bad you found our location inconvenient.

Secluded lake front getaway

The house is cozy and comfortable for extended family. The kids were at the lake all day enjoying boats, fishing, swimming and floating and catching frogs.

We enjoy exploring the outdoors, swimming, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, skiing and any other excuse to be outdoors. We bought this house as an investment in our future, and now live here in the north full time. We look forward to the opportunity to make your time in northern Michigan as rewarding and special as we have always found our own experiences to be.

We go out of our way to provide for your needs so you can relax and enjoy your vacation time here. The seclusion of the home, with easy access to the pleasures of Traverse City and the surrounding areas make this a perfect vacation spot for you and your family and friends. The National Cherry Festival takes place during the end of June /early July. Come explore!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The fact that this home is on a quiet branch of Rennie Lake connected to but separated from the busier, more populated areas is a plus. The location is steps away from hiking trails on state land and it is a wonderful place to "get away from it all" in every season. The proximity to undeveloped land makes your view of the lake spectacular - no other cottages or homes can be seen. Even your neighbors to the left and right have maintained a privacy screen of native trees and plants. The house is big enough to accommodate your extended family, a place for kids down, adults up, or space to separate families with shared space in the living areas upstairs. In addition, it is close enough to make Traverse City easily accessible. You will love the chance to explore the area again and again.
