In Town! Cannery Inn - Salish located a few blocks from the ferry landing; this newly built, cozy and modern unit (in a 4 unit building) has everything you will need to enjoy Friday Harbor. (Salish)

Cannery Inn - Salish is one of 4 rooms for rent in the Cannery Inn building. The Salish room is ideal for guests seeking outdoor activities, shopping, dining and everything else the island has to offer. Also perfect for the boater who wants to regain their land legs, as the stairs down to the Port of Friday Harbor are only a few yards away.

This unit is equipped with a mini-Keurig (coffee pods are provided upon check-in) microwave, mini fridge, full bath, queen bed, Wi-Fi and flat screen Satellite TV. Guests are also welcome to relax and take in the magnificent views from the entry deck that is only available for guests of the Cannery Inn Suites. There is a smaller deck area attached to the unit, shown in the photos and is attached to the guest-viewing deck. For groups larger than 2, please contact San Juan Property Management for booking additional units.

Downtown Friday Harbor is one short block away from the Cannery Inn. Guests can take a short stroll down the hill to visit some of Friday Harbor's best coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and parks.
This property is non-smoking.
This property is Adults ONLY. No Pets. Quiet time is from 9 Pm to 9 Am.

Beautiful Harbor View Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fabulous stay! The unit was spotless and spacious with a gorgeous deck overlooking the harbor. The location was very convenient and was walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in Friday Harbor. The free overnight street parking was a huge plus and was always plentiful.

Walls are so thin we could hear the conversation (and snoring) in the next room. There were ear plugs provided in the room, but I thought it was because the inn is located on a road. The road was quieter than the folk next door (to no real fault of theirs). These units are more like small hotel rooms. The unit was clean and the bed comfortable.

Location is right in town, easy walk to the ferry.Check in was flawless, room had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. My favorite part was the double door that opened to patio with gorgeous views. Perfect spot for morning coffee. My only complaint is that walls seemed very thin and if ppl in other rooms are loud, you could hear them. Overall the place was well worth the price!

Beautiful room! Cozy and quaint! Views were amazing! We took advantage of the beautiful deck and views with a glass of wine each evening. Perfect location quiet and cozy. We could walk to everything! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Little Spot

My Husband and I had a great 5 night stay:) We enjoyed the view of the Marina from the deck every single night. The room with clean and had most of the basics.

Great find!

The room was clean, great location, comfy bed. Other reviewers complained about thin walls, but we didn’t have a problem at all. Very courteous neighbors. Great view of the harbor. Loved our stay at Friday Harbor!

The Cannery Inn is a perfect spot to rest after a day of exploring downtown Friday Harbor. Though it does not supply a coffee maker or hot plate, it is luckily just a short block or two to any of the amazing coffee shops and restaurants Friday Harbor has to offer. We are glad your stay was pleasant and you able to utilize the deck and soak in the views!

Nice, convenient, clean place to stay in Friday Harbor

There was no air conditioning, but the room ventilated pretty well with the window and doors. The patio seating had a great view of the harbor and other islands. The only issue was that the walls were a bit thin, but there were provided earplugs, and nothing was loud enough to interrupt our sleeping. We would definitely look in to staying here again.

Patio doors opened to very public space so I couldn’t sleep with them open and room became stuffy. Nicely appointed furnishings. Definitely will return.

Breathtaking view of the harbor

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Friday Harbor was a lovely place to vacation over the July 4th weekend. This location is close to all the food and rental/excursion companies in town. It looked brand new inside and out and decorated in neutral, calming gray tones. Only thing we missed was AC. There's a great breeze, but being in Salish, our French doors opened to the shared deck and our window was by the sidewalk with no screen. It was stuffy coming back to the room after a day of excursions or dinner.

Gorgeous views thin walls

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is advertised for 189. 00 but has so many add on charges including a non refundable damage deposit and 165.00 in cleaning fees for basically a hotel room. My two night stay ended up costing 649.00!!!!! Beware !!

Good views, very noisy, tiny room, minimal amenities

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was hard to sleep because our neighbors were extremely noisy and loud, and the walls are paper-thin. This place isn't designed to accommodate vacationers. Two chair and a table in the room would be so useful because there was a lot of rain and wind when we were there making it difficult to sit at the patio. No conditioner or body wash. That's the bare minimum one would expect. The bath drain pools while showering and hot water smells bad. Overall not a great stay other than the convenient location. I wouldn't stay there again. Especially the noise made it impossible and not enough amenities to make it worth it.

It is an excellent location, the bed is plush, the outside deck is beautiful; everything is really nice. EXCEPT, the walls as advertised are paper thin. We we awakend both after midnight and at 6AM by conversation on the other side. The owners MUST do something about this

Love the big deck looking out over the harbor and all the flowers that adorn it. Would like to see them up their game with the in-room coffee. Instant coffee packets and half and half cups that were left out (why not in the refrigerator?) and had curdled.
