In Downtown Friday Harbor!

The Artist's Suite is a lovely, ground floor, studio suite. This unit is equipped with a queen bed, 3/4 bath with a walk-in shower, kitchenette and a sitting area. In the bedroom area you'll find a Smart TV for streaming services. This suite is furnished with everything you need, including a romantic propane fireplace.

The Carter House is one of Friday Harbor's first important historic homes. Built in 1911, it was a wedding gift for a wealthy merchant's daughter. It has been beautifully restored. Located in historic downtown Friday Harbor, it is only 3 blocks from the ferry dock and Port of Friday Harbor.

The blocks surrounding the Artist's Suite offer many delicious restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, ice-cream shops and art galleries, all within walking distance. On Saturday mornings the local San Juan Island Farmer's Market is a 5-minute walk from the Artist's Suite!


This Unit has great cell phone reception and Wi-fi. However, San Juan Island is a remote location, and it is good to keep in mind that intermittent, short, Wi-Fi disruptions are very normal for this area.
This Suite does not have Air Conditioning.

This unit was in the perfect location. It was within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We brought our e-bikes and rode them everywhere. Lovely property for a couple of nights stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Right in easy walking distance of downtown, we were so glad we got to stay in this cute rental! It was clean, the management company was great. All the amenities were good and as listed. My only suggestion would be to add a sofa in the sitting area, to make it more usable. Overall clean and convenient.

The unit was clean, everything needed is there. The management sent us a message that we could check in 2 hours earlier than what was stated. Great all around experience! The parking spot is a bonus, while the town is just a few minute walk!

Very limited amenities. Would have at least expected an iron. Also the TV was sooooo small and the internet was very slow. Would have also appreciated having coffee available. Especially when we were paying over 300 a night.But the location was great.

This house is perfectly located just a few blocks from the heart of Friday Harbor. We enjoyed the nearby shops and Saturday market.

Place was very cute and quaint. Honestly no issues other than the shower is absolutely awful. The water shoots straight back at the wall and gets water everywhere and it’s so hard to actually wash your body. Other than that - perfect spot for a 1-2 night stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a cute studio! Close to so much, quiet, and well furnished! We were able to walk to the San Juan Brewery and to the waterfront. When the power went out our last morning there, we called the manager, learned it was the whole island and were told where to go for coffee! (King's Market had limited coffee left when we got there!) Suggestions: have a Friday Harbor brochure with map in the room and adjust or replace the showerhead as it was not the best, especially for shorter people. WE will definitely recommend this to others!

Great location

We enjoyed our weekend stay. The property was clean and fairly quiet. Easy walk from the marina to the location and the spots around town. Would recommend and stay here again.
