Great place to stay for vacation or over the weekend. We just needed a place for a few days, and this worked out great. Host has provided everything you could imagine for your dog and kids, especially the lake activities.

Great group trip with an accommodating and responsive host. Wendy was communicative and helpful even though I was a little needy. Also, anyone visiting Lake Lanier needs to be mindful of water levels. Georgia is in a drought and Wendy even helped get us access to a neighboring dock to save the weekend for our boat rental. AC worked phenomenally in the wretched heat. Kitchen was fully stocked to cook all meals for a group of 10. Lots of hangout space and fun games abound. Highly recommend! WiFi worked great as well.

Cute little spot in Dawsonville

We enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Gem! We were not actually at the house a lot, but it was a cozy home and communication with the host was so easy!

The house was beautiful and clean was a wonderful stay beautiful area. Everybody loved it.. The water level was really lowAt the lake, but the homeowners can’t help that that’s mother nature. But honestly, the house was still worth it to go down to and look at stuff and the view was incredible. You will actually love it.

Beautiful lake house in the best location

The home was absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location, close to everything . I would highly recommend and would come back again should we ever need to be in the area again.

Thank you for your review. I personally did a deep clean on the house for a big spring cleaning for a few days before your arrival. I'm pretty thorough because I have a vested interest in my lakehouse :). I am so sorry you felt it was unclean. Just a suggestion, as a future guest, you could contact your host if you have an issue & we as hosts would LOVE to do something about your grievance before a review like this. To all my future guests, I work very hard at maintaining super clean houses. Rest assured it is extremely sanitized & clean. Please read all Hidden Gem's reviews on cleanliness & you will see this is a first. Thanks so much!

Perfect place for a getaway

We were extremely pleased with the house and ended up catching a couple nice catfish off the dock. We will for sure be back!

We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches in the house, like the toiletries and little extras. They made our stay very comfortable. The lake house was also decorated for Christmas which was such a nice and personable touch! Wendy is quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed to have a perfect stay. 10/10 recommend!

Fabulous spot!

Wendy was a fantastic host! The house is wonderful. Plenty of space for our 5 kids, 5 adults family group. Good gathering space, well stocked kitchen, beautiful views.

Truly a hidden gem

This is our second time staying here. We absolutely love it. There’s so much for kids to do and I love that the dock is tucked away a little bit. House is well stocked. Perfect place to relax!

Beautiful and Serene

We loved this house! It was so quiet, but still close to anything you could want (restaurants, shopping, etc.) and easy to get in and out. The owner was very helpful and communicated well.

Completely stocked kitchen with LOTS of extras! Wendy was very accommodating and answered questions right away. We really enjoyed the home. Lots of sleeping space. Great enclosed porch area with pretty view. Cutely decorated with a Christmas tree as a really nice touch for December. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A Great Stay

A perfect location for a wedding at Swan Lake Overlook. A great place for the whole family. The home was clean and welcoming and lots of sleeping space. The kitchen was also well stocked. The owners were very good with communication. We would definitely stay again!
