Perfect Spot for Two

Great spot for my husband and I. No frills, but we are fine with that to be right on the water. We were able to tie our fishing boat up to the dock over night which was very convenient. Great location to everything and perfect for two.

Nice quiet place

We were there to fish. Had a nice time caught some fish and had a quiet, comfortable stay.

On the water

The place was prefect for 1 person to 2 couples. The Host is the best. Very helpful and very cool. Will certainly stay here again.

Great location and great for 2 people and a doggie!

Just perfect for 2 and a doggie! Great location on the island for a good price. A little older and run down on the outside but fine on the inside. Spacious shower! Make sure to bring your own beach chairs and towels, not any on the property! Check in was smooth and easy to communicate with the hosts!

The property was great, we had a great time. The little pier does need to be repaired but I was still able to walk on it and even caught a 20in speckled trout!

Stay in CC Texas

There were many items but first is on door lock please add touch the lock button after putting in 4 digit code. Stove burners need to be changed. Lot of cob webs in corners. Floors had a gray film on them. Mold in shower. Need in table by 1 side of bed with lamp so don't have to use light switch constantly. Bed needs to be on blank wall & not under window.; Could hear upstairs residence at all hours walking around. Vrbo was not a good fit for us wo will not use again. Kelly was a lifesaver & very helpful. We have decided not to use CC as a monthly destination, Thank you.

Excellent!

Place was great, host was excellent, responsive & accommodating. Nice park just down the street, couple minutes to the beach, back patio w/ grill on the canal. Would definitely stay here again.

Fishing trip

The back yard was not grass for the dog. It was dirt covered with plastic. Over 30 Plastics totes with dirty old Curtains were on the small Back porch. vRBO did not give correct instruction for unlocking the door. You have to put in the last four digits of phone , pull door tight and hit the lock Button to unlock. Owner seems Put out when I attempted To get instructions as my dog was locked Inside . He was to return to turn on television but was unavailable In Houston. The inside was nice

The property does not represent what the listing mentions

The appliance did not work. Electrical outlet now working. Refrigerator was not properly clean. We had to finish cleaning. The dining table was terrible and moved all the time. Had to fix the nuts. Had to buy an extension to plug in the Coffe maker. The back outside was dirty and unpleasant view and bad maintained. Will not recommended it.

House and property were great and clean! Kids had fun fishing in the canal and the owner was awesome and very responsive would definitely stay here again!

Fortuna Bay Property

Overall, just needed the basics....a way to cook what we needed, clean, easy access to the beach and pet friendly. We were happy to return here at the end of the day and relax. Only a couple of minor inconvenieneces to report. Front door light wasn't working and it was very hard to see the numbers on the keypad at night and the ceiling fan in the main bedroom wasn't functioning well and there was very little air circulation in that room. Regardless, this doesn't really dissuade us from returning for a future visit. Thanks for a great weekend!

Quick Getaway!

Simple place with the basic needs! We wanted a boat dock, so we didn’t have to trailer the boat! It was pet friendly and in the location we wanted to fish! The property manager was great to communicate with and very helpful and prompt with calls and messages!

Under construction

First appearances were not nice, Bulk Head was under construction lots of loose dirt right out the door to the docks, the inside was nice had plenty of room. I would suggest letting the customer know when there is construction going on so as too let them make a choice to stay there or look at other properties. All the people I met there were really nice and friendly just would have like to have been informed of the construction.
