We are committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and we are taking extra sanitary precautions so that you can feel at ease during your stay.

Romantic get away located on a working horse farm just 20 minutes from Durango. This is the original 100 yr old farm house that has been completely renovated. Our cottage has beautiful view of the mountains and country side. Yet it still close to town and amenities. We know you'll enjoy the hospitality ,incredible views, and the total relaxation of the quiet rural setting with brilliant stars and the bright sunshine.
Cottage has a lovely updated kitchen complete with pots and pans ,dishes and everything needed for cooking except food. Flat screen TV with DVD player in case the weather turns bad. Washer , dryer. Nice bathroom with glass shower. Very comfortable bed with nice linens . There is an air conditioner located in the bedroom , just in case . We have a nice deck in the back with a barbecue complete with table and chairs

This was a peaceful place to stay not too far away from Durango. It had everything we needed and was nice to sleep out in the country and sightsee in the daytime. We saw deer and it made us feel right at home.

Wonderful place to stay and relax. We thoroughly staying here. We loved the house and sitting by the pond watching birds or looking at the mountains. We also loved meeting the resident critters. Hope to come back in the future!

Great get away place!

Get place to come back and relax after a fun day of exploring and enjoying the beautiful area. It was comfortable and had a great view to enjoy.

Great place

The owners are lovely people and the farm is peaceful. The house is well kept and they provide all the things. I'd stay here again.

Home away from home

We had a wonderful time. Spacious rooms and all needed amenities were available. We spent most of our time exploring the area but we’re very comfortable with our accommodations.

It's a peaceful and quiet ranch cottage. Loved it!! Close enough to Durango to do all of our adventures. And then to come back and relax with views. We definitely will stay here again.

Awesome place!

It was beautiful, clean, very private to the point we didn’t feel the need to lock our car doors or the cabin doors, and the owners were attentive as needed. There were truly no negatives.

Super cute farmhouse!

This was the perfect break for us, as we had been on the road for 8 days at this point, for our 30th anniversay trip. We stayed 3 nights and can not express how nice it was. The owners did a good job of doing modern remodeling, but leaving the old charm by adding the old furniture, dishes, etc. and they were SUPER nice people with a lovely farm.

Peaceful

My husband and I went to relax and enjoy our time together and that’s exactly what we did. Everything was clean and felt very comfortable and welcoming. Totally give this stay a 10.

Perfect

Pretty much just what we were looking for and thought we was getting. Close enough to Durango to go there in a short time and close to many sights. Then when we came back it was a nice quiet environment to relax in.

Great cottage in the Country!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage on Hinds Horse Farm outside Durango. It had everything we needed (after a jeep tour one day and a train ride the next day) it was so nice to stay in a place away from the busy hubbub of downtown Durango. Beautiful scenery surrounded the cottage. Awesome!

Horse ranch

Lovely cottage. Comfortable and convenient. Fully equipped kitchen and has washer and dryer. Just as described in VRBO listing.

Immaculate cottage in a very easy to find location. It was so nice to relax and stretch out in a home. Everything we wanted to experience was very convenient for us. Loved a comfortable bed and having a washer/dryer available. I don’t think we could have asked for more or for better hosts. We even got to enjoy them and the honey from their ranch.

Oct 3-6 Hind Show Horse farm stay

My wife and I had great time, visiting the Durango and Silverton area. Mr. Hind recommended a great day trip to view the Fall foilage. The accommodations were nice, and we got to view the horses, etc. The setting was neat, nice views of farmland and with the mountains in the distance.

Perfect

Our stay was perfect. The location was just far enough out of town to enjoy some peace. The cabin was clean and perfect for us. The hosts were so helpful and kind. They even brought me horse treats when they seen me trying to pet the horses! Buy the honey. Just do it lol.

Great home away from home

This was the perfect location for a "home base" during our visit to Colorado. There was plenty of space to park our vehicle and motorcycle. The cottage was very well equipped. We loved meeting our hosts and so appreciated their suggestions about additional places and things we could see and do during our stay. The beauty all around the property and the serene atmosphere enhanced our time at the cottage and were enjoyed as much as any of the sights we came to Colorado to see! We definitely hope to be back!

Just what we needed

My husband and I needed some time away from the hustle and heat of Phoenix and this was just perfect. We had easy access to Everything we wanted to do. Relaxation was drinking wine outside taking in the beautiful view! Kristine helped us through our first reservation using vrbo. What else could anyone as for . we will definitely return

Our property is very quiet and relaxing . Our cottage is very nicely decorated . It's out of the hustle and bustle of town but close enough that you can enjoy the amenities that Durango has to offer. We are centrally located for enjoying the hot springs in pagosa or riding the train in durango.

Our cottage is unique because it's on a working horse farm. We r professional horseman and have been showing quarter horses since 1985. Our farm now includes Rescue donkeys and honeybees.
