Home a Wave From Home 5 bed 5 bath heated pool, game room Stocked like your HOME

We have owned this home for 20 years and have made our home very relaxing and special for our guest. We provide everything you would need with exceptions of food, clothing and toothpaste/brush, hence the name Home A Wave From Home. We offer freshly made beds upon your arrival as well as an abundance of towels in each bathroom. No need to pack beach towels, we have plenty. Four of our five bedrooms offer smart TV’s, King size beds and outside access to the decks , the crows nest and ocean views. The bunk room provides a smart TV, four twin beds as well as a trundle and access to its own deck with views of the Seascape golf course. We have a game room that provides a pool table, air hockey and foos ball as well numerous board games. We have a media room stocked with many movies for entertainment on rainy days. This room also has two day beds if extra beds are needed. We have 10 bikes and beach chairs with umbrellas. We offer a private pool, heated optional and a covered outdoor kitchen with a hot tub. This is a great area for entertaining and we have had weddings on location. Our third floor kitchen, dining, and living room area provides open area living with ocean views. We also have a high chair, a pack & play and 2 roll away beds if needed. Great space for the entire family. The back yard area is fenced in separately from the pool. There are also fun climbing trees in this area. The beach is a 7-10 minute walk.

Well stocked house, clean, spacious. Highway noise is loud but that’s the entire area, not specific to this house, and constant golf ball danger.

Loved the home as everything was at your fingertips. Short walk to beach or biking easy with bikes furnished. The house and pool was roomy with 12 of us . Our only complaint was lack of hot water for all of us. Reported it to owners.

The house had everything we needed for our family! Well stocked kitchen that our son in law whom is a chef was impressed with all that was included! The grands (and the grown ups) loved the pool, hot tub and game room! The bunk beds for the kiddos were perfect and having bedrooms with bathrooms (which again, very well stocked) in each was an extra bonus. There is a golf course across the street so beware of stray golfballs. We had great communication with the owners throughout our week. We a had a wonderful week and made some awesome memories!!Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

We really enjoyed our stay at the "Home A Wave from Home." The size of the home was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 4 children and 2 dogs. The pool and outdoor area was awesome, the kids loved the down stairs area with games and movie room. The location of the home was great the beach is a short walking distance maybe 5-7 mins max. Crossing the main Hwy getting to the beach was a concern prior to booking this home but I was pleasantly surprised that it was a shorter distance than I expected and the marked crosswalks made it easy access. The hosts were prompt in answering my questions prior to booking and they even reached out to let us to let us know we had left some medication behind and they were gracious enough to take their time out to mail it back to us. Our only compliant about the location is on several occasions we were very close to being hit by golf balls and my daughter's vehicle took a hard hit leaving a significant ding. This home really does have all you need so you can pack light!! We give it a thumbs up!!

We are so glad that you guys had such a wonderful vacation and we apologize for your having to deal with the golf balls. It appears that your week was the worst ever. Someone must’ve been on vacation that truly did not know how to play the game. We see them in our yard from time to time, but in 24 years we have actually only had one other incident. We are so sorry that you guys had to deal with this on your relaxing vacation. We would definitely rent to you again in the future for as long as we own the home.

We had no hot water for the first three days. We contacted the owner Sunday. He sent someone out and he put a new element in the hot water tank, Tuesday. Then came back Tuesday and cleaned out the water faucet screens in the main bathroom and couldn’t figure out how to fix the kitchen faucet. We again contacted the owner and said there was no pressure in the kitchen and he again sent someone out and he was at the house (with us) over 5 hours. He finally replaced the kitchen faucet at 9:03 pm, Wednesday. We checked in on Saturday. The owner did buy our group lunch for the inconvenience of not having hot water for three days and no water pressure for four days. We paid 8515 for one week. Out of curiosity the week before us a review was left on VRBO saying there wasn’t enough hot water for their group of 12 and the owner was contacted. This all could’ve been avoided if the problem was fixed then. We will Never use VRBO again, this was a Very expensive house for what we dealt with.

Excellent stay

My entire family loved staying here. Everyone had a great time. The weather turned out great. And we could swim everyday. The house was very nice and accommodated us perfectly.

Wonderful place

We had an amazing time at the Sea scape, the property was clean and had pretty much everything you’d need on your vacation. The host answered our our inquiries quickly and everyone in our family commented how beautiful the house was. Definitely recommended.

Great family get together space!

The space and layout of the house was fabulous, but it really needs a good cleaning and some updates/repairs both inside and out. The process with booking and communication with owner was great.

Family Summer Vaca

We stayed for a week in July and had a fabulous time. Very central location, it’s easy to get anywhere. The golf course being right there is very beautiful. The pool is delightful and fun and the backyard cabana area is perfect. I appreciate the abundance of towels, it was great not to pack any. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Long weekend for the ladies !!

We bought this home because of the floor plan, lots of room and lots to do in and out of the home. We love to entertain that is why we built the 3 story staircase so everyone would have easy access to the pool area and their bedrooms. We also built the awesome outdoor kitchen to grill and just relax by the pool.

When we were searching to purchase a home in the Outer Banks, we looked at many. This house felt like a home where all the others felt like rentals. We strive to create a vacation that has most of the amenities that feel like home! We are located on the first hole of Seascape Golf Course. We offer a private pool and hot tub area.
