Nestled in the heart of Carroll Valley, this charming 3-bedroom cabin offers the perfect escape for your next vacation. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy and inviting atmosphere, complete with a crackling fireplace to keep you warm on chilly evenings. Gather your loved ones in the fully stocked kitchen, where you can whip up delicious meals using the provided appliances and utensils. Enjoy your culinary creations at the spacious dining table.

There is so much to do! Interested in golf? There are several courses within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Hiking? Only 10 minutes to the trailhead for the Appalachian Trail. Not to mention the many state parks and state forests. And who can forget Catoctin National Park located right outside Thurmont, MD only 20 minutes away.

There are two community pools located close by. One in Emmitsburg, MD and the other at Caledonia State Park, about 25 minutes away on Route 30.

When you're not exploring the nearby attractions, such as the Gettysburg National Military Park and the Gettysburg Battlefield Museum, just a short drive away, relax on our front porch or back screen porch with your favorite beverage!

Stay connected with the free WiFi, or curl up on the couch and enjoy a movie from the video library. For the little ones, there are plenty of games and activities to keep them entertained.

The rental was as described & met our needs. We went back & forth to the town of Gettysburg every day & relaxed @ the cabin in the evenings. Very quaint & quiet with no issues. We would rent again if we returned to the area.

This property is outstanding! The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. The Host was communicative, gave detailed check in and out instructions, and was a pleasure to work with. My brothers and I were on our annual golf trip and the property easily supported all 4 of us in terms of space, comfort, and utility. I would 100% return to this property if I’m ever back in Gettysburg!

House as advertised, well equipped and priced appropriately. We’ve stayed here many times for a golf trip in the area. Great house for a foursome. Marci is very responsive, never have had an issue at this location.

Property felt like home and the porch was great. We saw deer and heard lots of birds. The communication with the host was very good and the location was in a quiet neighborhood

Clean, easy to find and close enough to stuff to actually DO things. That's right! You thought if you came to Adams county in PA there is NOTHING to do... Well, kinda. BUT this property sits right in the middle of pretty much everything. Not hard to get to places to eat, to drink, to explore and to top it off, you probably won't want to leave the property much anyway. Calm, peaceful and while there are houses around you don't feel like they are on top of you or you can't be "alone". I would 100% suggest this property to anyone looking to unwind for a weekend, week or even full month of just being alone in the woods, while still be able to know what internet is and how other people look.

We built our cabin in 2016 on land that had been in our family for over 60 years. Native to the DC area, our family decided to build a property close by that allows us to enjoy all that the area has to offer. Avid kayakers, we have explored the area and discovered many gems on which to paddle! We love to hike, bike and ski when we are staying on Raven Trail. We would love to share our adventures with you so please contact us if you too are kayakers, bikers, skiers or hikers!

The land on which we built was originally purchased by my husband's father in the 1960's as a place to go during the Cold War! After being so long in the family, we decided to build a cabin so that we have a place to go to relax and rejuvenate. All the cabin artwork was created by my husband's brother who suddenly passed away in 2013. We wanted to provide a home for his artwork. Our cabin is actually built in his honor and memory. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy the area.
