Great Location

Walking distance to downtown and Negelin’s Bakery! Nice river view from the family room. Property is well maintained.

Lots of wear and tear. Old, mismatched furniture. We would have preferred a unit with a balcony.

The property was very nice and the location is excellent.

3rd annual Guys Trip

3rd straight year staying here for our annual guys trip. Perfect location! Check in and out doesn’t get any easier. Grilling setup is perfect. Looking forward to coming back for a 4th straight year!

Great Location

The condo was very nice and had most everything we needed. We will definitely be back! I would suggest brining more towels for bathing and hand towels. Other than that, everything provided was great! Everyone really enjoyed our stay.

A Great Christmas Trip

The unit was very spacious and nicely furnished, with a beautiful view of the Comal River. Good kitchen with full-size appliances. Very nice bathrooms with walk-in showers. The parking area was well-protected. And a herd of deer wandered around the neighborhood! The only negative was the stairs—they are extremely steep and poorly designed, especially for someone like me, with mobility issues.

The unit was very clean. Check in was easy. The owner responded very quickly to repair a leaky toilet. He was very helpful and nice.

Nice Riverfront Condo

Condo was clean & well kept. Was exactly what we needed. Forgot a pillow & Randy was kind enough to ship it back to us. A great host!

River condo

The property was fine. The stairs outside were not fine. If I had known they were not to code, I would have rented elsewhere. My husband and I are in our 70's. The stairs were hard to navigate.

The property was great, everything was listed. Request the parking gate code beforehand. Other than that 10 out of 10! I recommend everyone stay here

Great Experience

I was nervous about renting online but as soon as we got there the family was happy.. The view was great, the property it self was one of the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in..I can not wait to go back..

Fun Time on the Comal

The Condo is great, I had my 7 year old nephew and his Mom and Grandmaw there. He loved the treasure chests that are used for decoration, so we set him up to find some treasure, it was great. Thank you

Perfect weekend getaway

This property is perfectly located on the Comal. It is spacious and has everything you need. You can enter the river right from the property. It was quiet (at least we didn't have any issues). Property owner was very responsive to my questions. The one thing that I wish I had known: listing said there was a kureg and there is not - I think k-cups and ended up having to go buy coffee - and this is a very minor issue! Love the stay and would definitely stay again!

Unacceptable

We arrived here at 1:00 am after a long day of traveling. Thinking our condo was in the gated community it shows in the picture we soon came to find out it was not. After entering the condo we found there to be no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms and there was a moldy smell. There was black mold/mildew in the showers and in the toilets. This is unacceptable when people get sick from this stuff and there is a $125 cleaning fee added to your stay and it’s not clean enough to get clean and comfortable. We had to relocate on Christmas Eve to a hotel. I would not recommend staying here at all!!!

Could have been 5 stars, but ...

The location is excellent. The condo was very good, but there were a number of mostly small, relatively inexpensive things which would have moved the review to 5 stars. We arrived after dark, but the porch light was not on, so we had to get a light to unlock the door (however, the condo was nice and cool). The bath towels were small and worn. There was no shower soap in the bathrooms - you had to bring your own! No Kleenix. We had to relocate a light bulb from the ceiling fan in the living room for a bedside lamp in the master bedroom. The shower head was what you'd expect in a state park campground. It also spewed a ridiculous amount of water, especially considering the drought and the continuing pressures on the Edwards aquifer. The more expensive item it the bed in the master bedroom has a sway on the right side and was uncomfortable. These are just not the types of things one should deal with in a condo which cost this much
