Sit on the balcony of "Mira-Marr's Emerald" and watch the Emerald Green waves roll in almost within reach. New Owner has recently updated this place from top to bottom and the updates are amazing! Gulf Winds East #1 sleeps 8. 1 King, 1 Queen, set of twin bunk beds, and a Queen Sized Murphy Bed. Sunday to Sunday rental during the peak season. Only one parking spot available per condo. Canopies or tents are not allowed on this beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent from the attendant.

Everything from flooring, paint, furnishings, sliding doors, kitchen, and bathrooms were replaced/updated during the recent remodel! Come stay and enjoy one of the premier townhouses of Gulf Winds East!!!

Destin, Florida is known as "the worlds luckiest fishing village", but we do not stop there! The whitest beaches of Florida and the Emerald Green waters are unmatched. Shop in an outlet mall, an upscale outdoor mall, or one of many boutique stores. When you are through shopping, there are endless places to enjoy the local fare or just get a quick bite. Don't forget about our water park, amusement parks, and our dozens of golf courses.

Beautiful unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental was excellent. Just a couple of suggestions. Could you please put a broom and dustpan somewhere in the condo so we can sweep when there is sand. Also, a few extra pillows and blankets would be great. The extra bed upstairs was very beneficial but we couldn’t find bedding for it. One last thing is to note that the front door code needs to be entered before leaving to lock the door. The other condos we stayed in, they would lock automatically. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!

Beach/Family time is the best time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been coming to Gulf Winds East since 2006. That speaks for itself. We love the location to everything. Eating, shopping and nice walks. Not in the beach however literally just across the street. We will come here as long as we can afford it. This year I left my handheld steamer and hope it was found yesterday during clean up and I get to pickup Friday. Was told they could not go look until renters that came in behind us left. Also this year had several people asking us gate code which we replied they should know it’s given when you check in. They still came in gate behind us, stated they were staying at condo below us and their gate code doesn’t work.

Girls trip

This unit was recommended to us by friends who had previously stayed there. We absolutely loved everything about it! Unit was clean, spacious, perfectly located close to the beach and the bathroom showers were exceptional! We would definitely go back! We highly recommend it

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We needed a place where my husband, son, daughter in law and two grands could get away. I'd stayed at Gulf Winds East 20 years ago and loved it. The location is so ideal, the condos are all clean and the one we stayed in had nicely updated bathrooms and kitchen. It was the perfect space for us. The one drawback was there were no hooks in any bathrooms to hang anything on. :) Other than that it was perfect!

TWO of the SWOWERS WERE WALK-INS & JUST AS AMAZING. ENTIRE CONDO WAS NEWLY REMODELED. WE DID HAVE AN OCEAN VIEW & COULD EVEN HEAR THE WAVES FROM ACROSS SCENIC HWY 98. THE CONDO'S BEACH ACCESS IS ACROSS FROM THEIR DRIVEWAY ENTRANCE. THIS MANAGEMENT TEAM WAS GREAT, SUPER ACCOMMODATING AND PERSONABLE. I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS CONDO/MGMT-TEAM!! (MAY 2023)

Lovely location - view of the ocean and sounds of the waves crashing in! We feel this private beach is a family friendly and was not too crowded. The unit was updated very nicely; clean and orderly. Decorated tastefully without too much clutter and the kitchen had everything we needed including a crockpot. Bedrooms were very comfortable and it was priced appropriately! We would definitely book this unit again. Thank you!

Beautiful update- 💕Location Location!!

Beautifully renovated condo overlooking beach/ocean, Just across the street. Typically I do not like to stay across the street from the beach for numerous reasons but this is place is an exception. The balcony is a great spot for taking in all the views. Inside we found every detail new and fresh. Decor, appliances, bathrooms, bedrooms, and televisions in each bedroom and LR. The internet had a small issue and the host was immediately responsive and our issue was resolved very quickly. We would definitely choose this property again.

There were a couple issues with the internet and gaining access to the gate to the beach. The management company responded quickly to all requests. Everyone that I encountered from my booking over the phone to the person who came out to fix the internet gave exceptional service. Hands down the best management company that I've ever worked with.

Great value beach condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an excellent well-situated beach condo with an exceptional gulf view. Decor is really nice. The condo itself is very nice and makes for a comfortable stay. Right across the street from the condo is a private access gate to the beach. To capitalize on the view, for this condo, the living area and kitchen are upstairs and the two bedrooms are downstairs. The downstairs washer and dryer really are convenient.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: GWE #1 I have stayed at Gulf Winds East on 2 other occasions. This was my 3rd stay. I usually stay in Unit 40, but was changed to this unit unexpectedly after something occurred with unit 40. The Positive: You can see the ocean from this unit. The owner had made their ocean toys available for use, as well as a pack in play, drying rack (see the negative), board games, books, toddler gates for the stairs, & bretta water filter. The place was nicely decorated. I loved the parrot’s colorful painting and the glass fish vase full of shells. The Negative: Our dryer was dead on arrival and we never did get a working dryer for the entire stay. They would not just bring a replacement while they worked on it (which is a bit ridiculous common sense would tell you to just remove the dryer and work on it somewhere else instead of sending a guy out 4 times to take it apart and block the entire lower hallway so you had to figure out ways around him to even leave as well as getting woke up in the morning while we were vacationing for the repair guy. Also how hard is it to keep a few working appliances for such occasions on hand to replace the broken until you get it repaired? It was a big inconvenience. They did tell us here some quarters go to the laundry mat, seriously I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old and we are on vacation 14 hours away from home I don’t plan on spending a minute of it in a laundry mat. Very disappointed with the response with this issue and I think what if this was the refrigerator or stove. Thank goodness the owner had a drying rack which we utilized for our stay.)The place was over decorated; I’m talking breakable stuff, we had to find places for to keep it out of reach for our kids. This is for families’, baby gates were available obviously you shouldn’t have breakables all over the place. There was owners stuff everywhere. I’m talking taking up closet space. And yes I'd would look to rent this location again.A few minor issues we had were taken care of in a timely fashion by property management. Also we had no dryer for the week which was a problem especially at a beach property. A working washer and dryer should not be an issue. But we are still happy travelers and this is our 4th stay at Gulf Winds East

Great Townhouse. Great Location.

We were very pleased with this property! We booked "last minute" for a spring break trip with teenagers so I was a little worried because it was still available and the price was great. The Townhouse and location were perfect. I've never been to Florida and not stayed DIRECTLY on the beach so I was a little leary. This Townhouse is in the front so it was, literally, steps from the beach. I would defiantly stay here again!

Happy Place Vacation

They replied to every question I asked them!We were so close to the Beach, we could sit on our 2nd floor Balcony and see the most beautiful site I remember seeing for years, and such wonderful restaurants in walking distance or with a short drive! This 68 year old, is ready to go back very soon and when I do, I will be contacting Harmony Beach Rentals!

Our 14th stay at GWE

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have visited beautiful Destin for the last 14 years in a row. I have stayed at several different condos on the property. Unfortunately, even though the view from Condo #1 was beautiful, it was one of the worst condos we have stayed in. It was very outdated, the carpets were filthy and there were questionable “things” on several walls (ie there was something that looked like blood right above the toilet paper roll in the bed room and there were three places that had a thick brown substance on the wall. One spot was above the toilet paper roll) . We had a wonderful time as always but will not stay in this condo again. All of the beds were also very uncomfortable and nobody got much sleep.
