Beautifully Updated Beachfront Condo w/Resort Amenities, including Heated Pool & WiFi

We believe it was an isolated incident as we have been managing the condo for almost five years and this is the first time hearing of a problem. It always great to hear when someone has a great experience visiting Marco Island and plans to come back! I am glad you found the condo to your liking and it had everything you needed for a wonderful stay. As you pointed out, there are some great things to do within walking distance as well as a short drive up to Naples. We look forward to your return trip and thank you for the wonderful review.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay at this condo. Regarding the view, the listing clearly states: "While this condo is in a building on the beach, due to its second floor location, vegetation surrounding Tigertail Lagoon obscures views of the water from the unit, including the balcony, as reflected in the listing pictures." The owner is looking into replacing the kitchen cabinets given the issue you mentioned. We respectfully disagree with your assessment of the decor and the mattress are all less than three years old. Nevertheless, we will take your feedback to heart and make sure they are still in good condition.

Clearly, Scott did not bother to read the reviews or our listing on Vrbo. If he had, he would have seen the following two reviews, both 5 stars, that speak about the walk to the beach and the view: "Everything amazing. Only concern would be for people who have trouble walking to beach. It's a ten minute walk to the ocean but a pool is located on property." AND ANOTHER 5 star review: "Though we didn’t have a direct view of the beach the unit served us very well." In the listing, we state the following: "*While this condo is in a building on the beach, due to its second floor location, vegetation surrounding Tigertail Lagoon obscures views of the water from the unit, including the balcony, as reflected in the listing pictures." And since pictures are worth a thousand words, we have three that show the view from the balcony. We also highlight the distance to the beach in the listing: "500 yards to the Gulf on Tigertail Beach (direct beach access)." Regarding free laundry vouchers, there is no such thing so I have no idea what he is talking about and there are detailed instructions regarding how the laundry works in the Guest Book in the condo. Scott never reached out with any questions before he booked, never responded to my emails mid-stay when I asked how his trip was going and then he proceeded to leave his scathing one star review. Bottom line: Scott has no one to blame but himself for booking this condo since his major complaints were all clearly disclosed/addressed in the listing. For those reading this review, please learn from Scott's mistake, whether you book this condo or another: read the listing in its entirety, look at all of the pictures and read all of the reviews before making your decision to book. With nine other great reviews, I think it’s pretty clear the issue here isn’t the condo (which even Scott admitted was "nice"), iTrip or the check in….
