Available year-round. Lovely home in Venice. Ideal for vacation. Fully furnished. Wi-Fi. Well-equipped kitchen with Viking stove, dishwasher, breakfast nook. Gorgeous light. Large central room with dining room table, seats 10 people comfortably. Hardwood floors. Upright grand piano. Fireplace in living room. Perfect for entertaining. 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Master bedroom suite upstairs opens onto a balcony, has wide-screen TV, and small office with a view. Master bedroom has a queen bed. One downstairs bedroom has beautiful garden view with queen bed. Other downstairs bedroom has a double bed. Off-street parking for 4 vehicles. Pool (unheated), very large private backyard. Beautifully landscaped. Two Weber bar-b-ques (gas and charcoal), electric smoker. Patio heater (propane) and portable firepit (wood.)

Family-friendly street, quiet, east of Lincoln, near Whole Foods. 3-minute drive to the beach. 10-minute bike ride. 3 adult bicycles included. This is not a party house, 6 people maximum.

Beautiful Artists Home in Venice

We had a wonderful stay. The house feels warm and lived in - like a home away from home. There’s an extensive CD collection with music from every era. While the pool is unheated, it was a great temperature for us to swim on the warm days during our stay. If you want to watch tv, there is only one upstairs in the primary suite. But there are plenty of games to enjoy downstairs. The kitchen and pantry are well-stocked. Would definitely recommend Judy and Bill’s home.

Best place ever!

This is our second stay at Bill and Judy’s wonderful home. It felt like coming home again. They are fabulous and their home is just a dream.

Venice Pool house

We had a wonderful stay at Bill and Judy’s for our family vacation! We were there for the Taylor Swift concert and they were more than accommodating for our early arrival! The pool was definitely a plus and the house was amazing! Thank you for a great stay!

An unforgettable visit

This stay was supposed to be just a place for us to sleep while we visited family and the local attractions. With each passing day, we only wanted to spend more time at the house rather than leave for something inevitably less fulfilling. Bill's generosity of time, music and literature reminded us all of what life is really about. It will be difficult to visit hotels or generic homes in the future or at least it will be easier to justify spending all of your time away. Life changing stay.

Good location!

It had everything we wanted and more, but it never felt phony — just a great house that felt like regular people really lived there. I would look forward to staying there again.

Lovely home, great location

A lovely home with fantastic outside space in a great neighborhood. Check-in was straightforward and hosts Judy & Bill were super helpful. I'd highly recommend this property and we hope to return in the future.

Perfect stay for first-time LA visitors

We were attracted by the artsy decor, the piano and the pool of this listing. It turned out to offer much more. It’s our first visit to LA. The location is perfect. Very convenient to get on the main highways to everywhere. Close to the airport and Venice beach. Easy to drive to downtown, Santa Monica, Disneyland and other beaches down the South. We wish the weather could be nicer so we can use the pool, but it’s very relaxing just to sit in the backyard. Our six year old daughter kept complaining that why we couldn’t spend more time just “at home” instead of going to places. The host Bill is very friendly and thoughtful. We will definitely recommend this lovely home to any families with young kids visiting LA.

Wonderful home, perfect hosts!

We adored this home - warm, comfortable, inviting, w a real cook's kitchen, a pool, a piano, guitar and ukelele for my musician daughter and boyfriend, and the most amazing reading and cd collection. Great location away from the crowds but close to everything. MOST importantly, though, we adored Bill and Judy, our hosts, who are warm, kind and generous. They even offered us a christmas tree stand and lights for our tree! Truly humans of the highest order, as evidenced by Bill's response when we told him our daughters boyfriend tested positive for covid just one day into his stay w us. Bill was calm, reassuring and understanding - allowing our kids to stay on ( we skedaddled ! ) and helping us plan the cleaning and turnover at the end of the week in a way that was safe for all, and offering assistance to my adult kids if they needed it even after they moved on to finish their isolation at another airB&B. This pandemic has been a nightmare for us all, but it has shown us just how wonderful some people can be. People like Bill and Judy show us the best of who we are, and knowing them gives me faith that if we just pull together, we can get through this. I can't wait for this pandemic to be over so we can return to this wonderful home again with our family.

Perfect!

Loved our stay here! We hosted Thanksgiving dinner with my brother and his family. It was amazing to stay in a real home filled with books, music, and art. We enjoyed playing the upright piano and browsing various books from the shelves. The kitchen had everything we needed. We even made s'mores in the fire pit. Excellent communication. Hope to stay here again on future trips to LA!

My family and I had a great stay

We had a great time on our trip and thank to the wonderful home we stayed in. Great for family’s to spend time together and relax. This is a beautifully designed spaces house with very tasteful decor and amazing outdoor area. My family loved the backyard & pool, spent every evening there. Location is great, it is a quiet residential neighborhood, 10 minutes away from restaurants, beach, shopping. We highly recommended!! Definitely come back!

Unforgettable

I’ll never forget our stay here. Just the overall coziness of this home makes you never want to leave. The backyard was a perfect setting for all of us to relax. The pool was awesome. The whole house was covered in art worthy of conversation. It was one of the things we all talked about most during our stay. Loved it. It was the chefs kiss of vacation homes. I hope I can stay again in the future.

Relaxing oasis with pool in Venice!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at this fantastic home in Venice. We had spent the previous 10 days hiking, so it was the perfect, relaxing wrap up to our trip. We spent a lot of time in the yard, enjoying the beautiful garden and pool, equipped with diving board & water toys. So many fun features in this home! Huge collections of books and CD's, that we enjoyed looking at and listening to. Our host, Bill was a pleasure to work with, as well as being a very cool & interesting person. There's a nice piano, and Bill even loaned my kids a guitar & amp. during our stay. We highly reccommend & plan to book again the next time we visit L.A.

Beautiful property, nice amenities, convenient location

This is a great home for a relaxing Los Angeles trip. We especially enjoyed the personal artistic touches around the house. For musicians and music-lovers alike, there is a piano, ukulele, recorders, hundreds of CDS, and interesting and informative music literature. The backyard is beautiful: full of hummingbirds and various plant species. The pool was, of course, a huge hit. Bill was quick to respond to questions and made the check in process very easy. The property is also nicely situation in Venice, maybe a 45 min walk to the beach and a very close drive.

Great rental- Spacious and Cute

Kind of awkward not being able to sit and watch TV in the living room with the family since the only service was upstairs in the master bedroom. But that's my personal opinion! All in all we enjoyed our stay. Having a pool was awesome !
