Couldn't have been better!

We had a great week at Blue Hamlet. Location was perfect as a base camp for any Aruba activity you are getting into. On a small island everything is minutes away but this was really a great place. Very comfortable for a couple and a nice quiet neighborhood backed by cacti and trees. Mischa gave us all the info we needed for our stay and never needed to reach for him aside from check in and check out. Can't wait to come back!

Michael and company are really nice and easy going guests. They took very good care of the place and it was so clean when they left. We would be very happy to welcome them a next time!

Bliss in Aruba

Our stay was very enjoyable. Communication with Mischa was excellent. He answered all my inquiries within a few hours. The check in is very straight forward, lock box outside the main entrance. The house is exactly as shown in the listing. The kitchen had everything we needed, we cooked most of the time. There is an A/C unit in the bedroom and a floor fan in the living room, but even with all the windows open, it is very hot. Ceiling fan would be a great improvement. The bathroom is small, but adequate. There is no hot water, but we didn't mind at all. After a day at the beach it was very welcome to have a lukewarm shower. The bedroom is spacious, with a good bed, it would be nice to have a dresser as well as the armoires.. Quiet neighbourhood, other than the rooster at the back of the garden and some dogs barking at night. The garden has two chaise lounges and a hammock. You should bring some bug spray, there are sand flies and mosquitos, so if you want to eat outside, as we did, be prepared. Our favorite beach was Arashi, about 5 minutes by car. It can get very crowded in the afternoon, especially when the cruise ship is in port. We usually went to the beach around 8:30 to reserve a palapa. When the sea is calm, there is great snorkelling. There is a nice trail along the beach toward the northern end of the island. It is very near the light house, which is a must to visit, especially in the evening for the sunset and the Happy hour. Car is a necessity, a jeep is better if you want to ride the eastern part of the island. There are lots of supermarkets, we used the closest , Ting Wai supermarket, for small purchases and did our weekly shopping at Super Food, about 10 mins away. Huge, modern supermarket with anything you might want and more. Aruba is very casual, no need for much fancy clothing. Cant beat the weather!

We love to have renters like Hana, good communication, tidy and always friendly. As for the remarks, it is already possible to cool the living room with the air conditioning from the bed room through the additional ventilation system. I think our explanation of how that system works is not clear enough. We will update this for next season. The dresser is something we have thought of also, but we have not found a satisfying solution yet. Especially for a longer stay we are aware it would be of extra value to have a dresser in the bedroom.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely and cozy little house. It’s perfect for two people and located in a quiet residential area, which made our visit very relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, the TV works great, and the bedroom has air conditioning that kept us comfortable at night.We also loved the outdoor space — there’s an extra table on the patio, a grill, and reclining chairs to unwind. Every morning we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere with birds singing and butterflies fluttering around the garden.A truly charming place to stay in Aruba. Highly recommended. We felt at home away from home.

Good new house and neighborhood

Our stay was good. The property is new and clean. It is located in pretty new neighborhood. The only uncomfortable things were: - absence of hot water; - unstable Internet; - no air conditioning in sitting room.
