Great Location for us.

House was as described. Only real draw back was lack of closet space in the extra bedrooms. Owner was prompt to reply to any questions or concerns we had.

Great Place

We had a wonderful stay in Safety Harbor. We only had one small issue with the Dish TV. We contacted the landlord, and she immediately called the repair person. He came out and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. We were very comfortable at the rental, and would love to stay there again. We stayed six weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thank You!

Winter in Florida

Two month stay in Safety Harbor. Great location, lots of fun things to do in walking distance, restaurants, bars, music venues, brewery, community gym at $15/month for nonresidents, bay front walks and fishing pier. Short drive to beautiful parks, spring training and the Clearwater beaches. Owner quick communication and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Close to downtown Safety Harbor

I have to admit, I was a little concerned when we arrived at the property. The outside of the house could use a good pressure washing. I was concerned about what condition the inside was going to be. The check in process was extremely easy. Upon opening the door to the house I was in awe. The home is clean, beautiful decorated, beds are extremely comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. Even though we didn't cook meals while we were there, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to turn out a fantastic meal. The property was very close to all of the restaurants in downtown Safety Harbor. The only negative I really have is along with the outside of the house needing to be pressure washed is the outside furniture was extremely dirty. I would still highly recommend this property.

Safety Harbor Gem

My wife and I had a wonderful time on our 2 month stay. Nice neighborhood. House was clean and well equipped. Prior issues about WIFI and TV in previous reviews have been resolved. High speed internet enabled us to stream movies and surf the internet simultaneously. Hosts responded to communication quickly. We already booked for next year! Thanks.

Perfect for what we needed

We were in Safety Harbor for an event at a hotel about a mile away. The house was a great location for us, was nicely renovated and comfortable.

Fun weekend

This was such a great place to stay. Close to downtown but not in the middle of everything. Also, right around the corner from Whimzeyland was a big plus. Beds were very comfortable and the living room was had plenty of comfortable seating. Definitely a "10" in our books!

Safety Harbor Rental

The house was very clean and well stocked. The kitchen had more utensils and cooking equipment than any house we have ever stayed at. It was also the only house that has had items for children. Although we had no children with us it would be great for anyone who does. The only problem was with the internet. The description of the house listed internet as a hot spot that could handle numerous devices. in reality it could not even handle one. Many times we could not log on and when we could the response was so slow that it did not matter. As a result we could not do banking or attend on line meetings.

Technologically Challenged Stay

5 seniors shared the house and, while generally pleased with the layout and furnishings, were frustrated by the poor internet connection that we all required to keep up with the world. The satellite TV took several days to boot up due to inactivity. The house was musty and needed to be aired out upon arrival. Tables and lamps had to be moved in order to provide bedside tables in 2 bedrooms. We'll seek out other options in Safety Harbor our next time there

I would stay again and recommend it.

The property was excellent. I would suggest making sure the Wifi/ internet is better so the television work properly and have better use of the computers.

great stay

went to this location to surprise my grandmother for her birthday and this was a great location and so convenient for an individual who is from out of town. my kids loved the view and the fact that we could walk to the beach and other places. if I was to come back I would def pick this same exact place

Had everything we needed

This house was perfect for a small family. There was a small backyard and a nice front patio if you wanted to be outside. The house was clean and stocked for our stay. Kitchen/dining was roomy enough for 4; bedrooms cozy. Very close to Safety Harbor downtown, although we drove most of the time to accommodate a person using a walker. If you are fit, walking/biking from this house is possible. Highly recommend walking on the pier. The house is on a thoroughfare, but occasional traffic noise did not bother us.

Good location, nice size and well appointed

Nice little house that has all of the supplies that one would need (other than wifi). Check in and check out couldn't have been easier. Its very much like staying in someone's home rather than a rental, its clearly not crap furniture, great selection of DVDs, etc. Its easy to get to, a snap to get to the little downtown safety harbor (its walkable however more than just a couple blocks, we drove into town typically). The location was great for us to get to Clearwater and the airport. I would definitely consider the property again, it was perfect for what we needed which was basically a place to sleep and eat breakfast. Outdoor spaces could use a good pressure washing and they're a bit limited but suitable to the advertised "sleeps 6" size of this house. I would recommend the owner get a pull out couch when one of them needs to be replaced just to give some sleeping options for families with kids or just guys/girls that may not want to sleep in the same bed. Overall its a solid place and glad the owners allowed us to stay in their home!

Property does not command the price. Freezer full, refrigerator door full, no clothes storage, small bathrooms, no sunshine on site. Garage is a killer, cut my leg on 4x4s stored there .Not much else to say.

A Great Value

Safety Harbor is one of our favorite places to visit, so we were delighted to "live here" for a few days. We had only the tiniest problem finding the house, as the link from Home Away led us to the house next door. (Nice neighbors, btw.) This place really does feel like a home - cozy in all the good ways. Despite the small-ish footprint, the interior feels spacious, especially in the living/dining area. The kitchen has everything you might need, bathrooms were impeccably clean, and the garage was a nice perk. We had a few -small- technical difficulties. We were never able to figure out how to watch the bedroom tv, and the DVD player in the living room did not work at all. My millennial traveling companions were not happy that there was no internet, but that was fine for our short, two-night stay. Also, the folding door on the linen closet seemed incapable of staying in its tracks (this was annoying, but so very minor). Overall, this is a nice rental unit for a small-ish family. The owners were delightful to work with and very responsive to communications.

Great stay in Safety Harbor

House is strategically located. Excellent accommodations. Close to shops, access to Tampa and Clearwater beach was easy. Will return next year for next NASA swim event.
