Very pretty old stone house

Paolo is a very nice host and the house is very pretty. The mountain view is awesome and you can easily walk through the forest to the Restaurante " Il Picco". Very good food and reasonable prices. Great location!!

Great stay in Marcione

We had a great week in marcione. The property was a perfect place for relaxing, swimming and local adventures. In the morning we moved to the pool area where we had all facilities during the day and in the evening we enjoyed driving to Castelnuovo di Gafagnana for dinner, a drink and some italian ice. We could consider staying there again.

Lovely and helpful owner. Lovely and magical place. It says it sleeps 7 on the listing when at maximum it actually sleeps 14!! Also not clear that it is 2 houses , with lots of outdoor dining space, pool and garden - plus games room! More space than expected, magic location and great owners.

Maison rustique avec les parquets qui craquent mais cela fait partie de son charme. La maison est très agréable à vivre et reste relativement fraîche quand il fait très chaud.À l’extérieur, la piscine bien que petite permet de nager et de se rafraîchir, et les diverses terrasses permettent de se mettre à l’ombre et de s’isoler pour lire.Paolo est toujours disponible pour intervenir en cas de problème et de très bons conseils pour faire découvrir la Garfagnana qui mérite le voyage.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Schönes Haus, alles da. Interessante Gegend mit verschiedenen Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten. Sehr erholsam. Verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe, das Städtchen ist hübsch. Pisa, Lucca und Florenz sind mit etwas Fahrtzeit gut erreichbar.

Schönes restauriertes Anwesen in einem typischen mediterranen Stil. Dazu gehören auch knarrende Bodendielen. Es gibt direkte Nachbarn, davon einer mit stetig bellenden Hund. Zum Pool und der überdachten Terrasse muss man eine schmale, sehr selten befahrene, Straße mit Kopfsteinpflaster überqueren. Der "Aufstellpool" ist gut im Hang integriert und die Sonnenliegen sind angenehm bequem. Paolo ist ein toller Gastgeber, der uns intensiv in das Anwesen eingewiesen und uns mit Ausflugszielen und Restauranttipps versorgt hat. Letztlich fehlte es an vernünftigen einheitlichen Trink- und Weingläsern. Auch die Pfannen waren nicht mehr im bestem Zustand (Boden verzogen). Der Gasgrill war ebenfalls nur noch eingeschränkt nutzbar. Wir hatten jedoch einen schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt und bedanken uns für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in dem wunderschönen typischen Toskana-Anwesen verbracht und ein Anwesen war es wirklich! So viele Sitzmöglichkeiten für 2 befreundeten Familien, der Pool (der war wirklich wichtig da es sehr heiß war!) Das Poolhaus, das Haupthaus der extra Raum mit der Tischtennisplatte die von den Männer sehr bespielt wurde :-)Die vielen Möglichkeiten zu entspannen und dann ein toller Vermieter der uns per WhatsApp immer wieder Ausflugsmöglichkeiten oder Restauranttipps geschickt hat. Was möchte man mehr? Ausser ais der einen Woche 2 zu machen

Traumhaftes Urlaub

Wir haben 2 Wochen Ende Juli in der Toskana in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Der Pool ist Klasse und die Aussicht grandios. Ohne Pool wäre es bei den Temperaturen allerdings auch schwierig geworden. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet und völlig ausreichend für einen Urlaub im Sommer. Nachts wird es angenehm kühl im Haus! In der Umgebung kann man sehr viel unternehmen: Grotte des Windes, Bergseen, Lucca, Florenz, Pisa etc. Auch an das Mittelmeer kann man fahren, wir haben 1,20 h gebraucht ! Uns hat es nicht gestört, aber es war uns nicht klar, dass zwischen Haupthaus und dem Pool mit dem Nebengebäude eine kleine Straße entlangführt. Der Verkehr beschränkt sich aber auf ein paar Wandere und 1-2 Autos am Tag! Uns hat es aber nicht wirklich gestört. Der Vermieter Paolo ist toll, Er hat immer wieder tolle Tipps gehabt und stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir toller Aufenthalt fernab des Massentourismus (außer Pisa etc. ;-) !

Der Reiz des Alters des Hauses und kreative Improvisation, wozu das Unperfekte gehört

Wir genossen den Blick auf die Landschaft, das Schwimmen im Pool, viel Platz für zwei Familien. Und die phantastischen Ausflugsziele. Da fiel es leicht, die verschiedenen Unbequemlichkeiten in Kauf zu nehmen, die zu den beiden so wunderbar alten Häusern gehören. Da gab es auch viele kleine liebevolle Details. Und Paolo war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Atemberaubend

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefuehlt. Die Ferienwohnung ist fantastisch eingerichtet, es gibt reichlich Geschirr, Besteck etc. Mit 9 Personen sassen wir um den grossen Tisch am Pool zusammen und gleichzeitig hat jeder einen ruhigen Platz zum Lesen finden koennen. Garfagnaga ist ein echter Geheimtip mit tollen kleinen Staedtchen ab vom touristischen Rummel. Der Vermieter ist super hilfsbereit, gibt tolle locale Tips. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Härligt boende i norra Toscana

Härliga pooldagar med underbar utsikt över bergen. Stor uteplats under tak vilket var skönt de varma dagar vi var där. Takterassen för grillkväll var fantastisk. Mysig promenadstig till byn där en riktigt bra restaurang fanns. Det var bara tre sovrum (+ ett litet extra rum i gårdshuset med våningssäng), men stora rum så vi kunde ställa klädhängare som rumsdelare i rummet med fyra bäddar och dela rum med tonårsbarnen. Huset ligger 1 timme upp i bergen, men med flera mysiga byar i närområdet för shopping och restauranger. Mycket trevligt bemötande och service av Paolo!!!

wir 6 waren rundherum sehr zufrieden. Das Haus war sauber und alles funktionierte. Paolo (der Vermieter) war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns mit guten Tipps per WhatsApp versorgt. Wir erlebten ihn auch als professionellen Musiker und sympathischen Menschen. Eine neue Matratze wurde auch sofort geliefert. Tolle Gegend, schöne Wanderungen, gutes Essen, eindrucksvolle Ausflüge (u.a.Lucca) Alles sehr zu empfehlen. LG Volker

Es waren entspannte 14 Tage in einem tollen Haus. Die Kinder haben den Pool und die Tischtennisplatte genossen. Der Gastgeber hatte immer tolle Tipps für Ausflüge oder Restaurants parat.

tolles Anwesen mit Blick in die Berge

Ein tolles Haus mit allem, was man braucht. Es lohnt sich, die Cabina mitzumieten, da diese direkt am Pool liegt und man so für die Toilette nicht ins Haupthaus laufen muss. Ein Kühlschrank neben dem Pool sorgt für immer frische Getränke und die Tischtennisplatte für etwas Action zwischendurch. Das Wlan funktioniert nicht sehr gut, braucht man aber ganz ehrlich auch nicht ;) Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Typisches Toskanahaus in traumhafter Kulisse

Sehr schönes Haus mit Nebenhaus und Terrassen mit Pool und traumhafter Aussicht in ruhiger Lage. Ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß in den Ort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Einziger Nachteil war, dass das Haus durch die einfachen Holzböden sehr hellhörig ist.
